Darkness gathers over the town of Glumhoff on Faerûn's Sword Coast; strange creatures are spotted stalking the woods and graves found disturbed in its ancient cemetery. Caught up in events, the heroic Leandro Acre of Athkatla and his friend, travelling companion, and interplanar visitor, Khaza Neumann, find themselves involved in a fight against the malignant evil that terrorises the region's populace. With the aid of a party of adventurers, they must decipher the reasons behind the town's strange hauntings. Only then can they hope to defeat the evil that lurks at the heart of the Misty Forest and save the innocent people of Glumhoff.
