Wondering what Europe looks like actually. There's the Noise, who are basically a natural disaster for the most part until canon started, and then there's how the governments all seem to get exaggerated in some way.

Symphogear Europe is the called the Dark Continent, though no reason is ever given for this except vague Illuminati shenanigans.

Here it seems that Swordo is running with "Europe is a fucking mess because the Noise ate everyone", and I'm guessing we're probably based out of Britain because that's the only unfucked part of the continent left.

Europe is a mess, what with the massive refugee crisis and being a few bad harvests from famine and a few bad jokes from civil war. Doesn't help that this happens right after the end of GX, so you also have Carol's temper tantrum resulting in a significant chunk of people disappearing. Conclude that Europe has the largest alchemist presence by far and hoo boy good luck.

In my version, Europe is on the verge of total collapse but noooot quite just yet. They're barely hanging on, but they're so occupied with survival that alchemist covens and criminal syndicates have settled in quickly and deeply. Its why your job will be especially tough even among Symphogears. Get used to fighting humans.
 
For some reason this quest speaks to me. Not sure why. Also going with plan Khona. Might try and come up with some expansion packs later.

*Looks at Orphan* Hmm... Kidnapped for slave ring, parents killed for alchemist components, or something else... And yeah, if total collapse happened that would basically be it. There's a lot about how we wouldn't really be able to restart our industry as it is if we lost it all. Let's see, where did I put that?

The youngest of the Gerhart's is a surprisingly innocent girl, specially in the chaotic waves of the rampant noise attacks and civil unrest that kept shaking the world and the land of her birth. In one of such important business trips when visiting a particular laboratory, she was humming alongside her music player to the last duet of her favorite group when a strange crystal reacted in the room her parents were meeting with the intimidating men in lab coats.

After a flurry of panic and questions and tests she was immediately taken to the uniformed men, she was coerced and praised and by the end of the day had been enlisted into the service of a strange initiative with a pat on the back and a pile of booklets, having been told she was now the Harmonizer of Caliburn, the Legendary Sword that everyone and their mother would know of.

She jumped at the opportunity of course, the assurances of her parents's friends and the encouragement of her family were enough for the worst of her worries to be dispelled and with the high promises and idealistic talk they dronned on about for hours it was hard for the young Alicia to not accept the chance to do something with her life. Make a little difference, look out for the little guy. All that stuff.

In hindsight it wasnt surprising her gear took the shape it did even if it was baffling and illogic.

Can I just say that I think its hilarious that Greece of all countries is the bastion of stability and peace in the EU? Ya know, the guys who have been having serious financial problems for the last decade?
