The ship's noises were easy to get used to. You hadn't expected it to be, when you've never been on one. However, it reminded you of your father far too much. Ah, look at you thinking away, when we haven't even figured out the most important thing yet! Who exactly are you?
[ ] You are Shirou Emiya. The adoptive son of Kiritsugu Emiya, with no other known family. The only thing that your father left you was his dreams and a gun. You're starting your dream lacking even an aura.

Personally, I think that using Prillya Shirou is basically the same as our own semi-OC. I for one would like to mould a character into someone different from the others. Maybe like a true neutral to the alignment as shown in the core of shirou video

Only Cook in the Household-Shirou Emiya was the only real cook in his house. Due to this, he has become pretty damn good when it comes to cooking. So, Shirou gets to roll twice when he's cooking food for more than just himself.
Archery Prodigy-Shirou Emiya is naturally good with Archery. With this natural proficiency, Shirou gets an extra x2 to any rolls with Archery as long as he has time to properly prepare his shot.
Flaws:
Heroic Idiot-Shirou Emiya really, really, wants to be a Hero. With the high amount of Hero syndrome inside that boy, he gets a -5 to rolls that go against his dream.
Socially Inept-Shirou Emiya has not talked to many people. As such, he isn't really good with social confrontations. He finds issues when talking with people, getting a -2 to any Charisma rolls.
Aura Locked-Shirou Emiya's Aura has never been unlocked, as such, he can't use his Aura or Semblance. This also means that his Aura does not protect him from damage.
Bad Luck-Shirou Emiya has notoriously bad luck. He gets a -2 to any Luck rolls and ends up stuck in situations with people he doesn't like, over and over.

Talking about that, why is that Shirou doesn't have his Aura unlocked? I'm pretty sure that's an important part the training academies.
I don't see Shirou taking the Jaune route without knowing at least that Aura exists and attempting to get his set on.

First, by normal person standards, Shirou is quite physically fit. He's not the strongest in his year by any chance, but in the real world he'd be quite a person.
Second, Shirou does not have his Aura unlocked due to something that'll be shown in the story, but it's something that'd be important to mention before it shows in the story due to how important it is.
Shirou in this world comes from a small settlement, not a large town, and wasn't able to go to the training academies. Instead, he was more of homeschooled by Kiritsugu in combat. However, as we all know from original FSN, Kiritsugu doesn't have much time to tell Shirou anything.
More information on these kind of things, how Shirou's backstory and the RWBY world intertwine, will be shown after the initiation, but if anyone has any pressing questions, I'll answer as long as it doesn't spoil too much.

Honestly, it's hard not to stare at the girl. With the gleaming silver armor and the bright white dress. Well, if you want to prove Taiga wrong in her assumption that you can't talk to anyone, might as well talk to obviously the bravest individual in the room.
"Uh, hi," Words come out of you upon walking up to the girl before you even have the chance to think. The girl turns towards you, and you now see exactly how much of a mistake you made. The girl looks almost heavenly with her emerald eyes and bright blonde hair. Her hair is pulled into a slightly messy ponytail with a black bow, and she has a particular strand of hair pointing up from her head.
"Hello?" She replies, her voice most definitely matching her face. However, at the moment, while she gives a smile she also has some confusion on her face. To be fair, you'd probably be confused if a random stranger came up to you as well.
"I, uh...Saw your sword! Yea, I saw your sword and thought it looked really cool, did you make it?" You decide to go to a familiar place for you, swords. To be fair, the bit of the sword that you can see sheathed on the girl's side does look ornate. Even the handle seems like it'd be more of a decoration than a weapon.
"Oh, well I should've expected people noticing Caliburn, even when sheathed," The girl replies with a brighter smile. Ah, a common point of interest, swords, stay on that Shirou. At least talking to this girl is not as bad as the few times you'd have to talk to Tohsaka due to Issei. "To answer your question, no, I did not make it. It is a family heirloom, and quite a powerful weapon," The girl states as she pulls out the sword from its sheath. The minute the sword comes out, your mind soaks up every detail. The blue and gold handle, the small circular rubies, the strange almost letters on the blade itself, and the gleaming silver of the blade. Something about the sword just makes you want to remember it for eternity. However, thankfully for you, your mind reboots fast enough to not be awkward.
"It's beautiful, but it seems like it'd be more of a ceremonial blade of some sort," You state. While she had said that 'it's quite powerful' you can't help but shake the feeling that it was made for events more than battle.
"Well, originally it was, but a trial for our family is using this and another artifact to be our starting tools of battle and then we gang our more powerful equipment. However, the other artifact went missing a while ago, so we modified Caliburn to be a bit stronger," The girl explains while she rubs the back of her neck. Seems she's a little embarrassed at having been called out by using a decorative sword. "If you don't mind me asking, what is your weapon?" The girl responds with a smile that definitely adds some red to your cheeks.
"Ah, I don't really have a set weapon. Just a bow, sword, and a couple of guns," You explain with a sheepish smile. Fuyuki doesn't have much in terms of combat anything outside of the Fujimuras. Even then, they helped you the best they could, but with Raiga dead they're focusing on dangerous weapons instead of tried and tested Huntsmen abilities.
"Oh, well being versatile is sometimes even better than being proficient with one thing," The girl responds, obviously trying to not hurt any feelings or anything like that. Before you can get a word in about that subject, the girl moves on. "Oh, I'm sorry for being rude, but I haven't even given my name," The girl starts, and your brain lags for a second. That's true, neither of you have given a name despite this. "My name is Artoria Pendragon, a pleasure to meet you," The girl states, holding her hand out.
"Nice to meet you, Pendragon-San, my name's Shirou, Shirou Emiya," You state, shaking her hand. However, as you do, Pendragon's eyes go wide in surprise. She brings back her hand pretty quickly.
