My first omake, for Seolla about her time in the AEUG circa Zeta Gundam's events.
The Big Sister
Once upon a time in UC 0087, Seolla Schweizer became very, very worried for Kamille Bidan. A very dangerous engagement nearly cost him his Gundam, but she was worried it could've cost him his life.
"You idiot!" She yells at him as they stand at the cockpit of his Gundam Mk-II. "You could've died back there!"
"But I had him!" Kamille insists, close to exploding. "Even without the help the movable frame would've made a clean offset dodge, it's like the back of my hand!"
She huffs to try and regain her composure. "Protecting the Temptation was enough, it was just the part about over-extending because that purple Mobile Suit was just so much faster, I doubt anybody would've caught it."
"Except you," Kamille bitterly snipes at her, seeming to calm down. "You nailed that thing in one of the verniers when I couldn't, Lieutenant Quattro couldn't, Lieutenant Emma couldn't, it doesn't feel fair and why are you sticking your neck out for me anyway!?"
She's finally found a way to articulate the worry she has for him. "Because I'm worried about you! I can't lose you to a stupid mistake like that!"
The sudden-ness of it all takes Kamille aback, and it importantly gives him some time to try and calm down and think about what's going on. As he bites down on his thumb out of stress-induced habit, he soon realises that if he didn't back down, he might've just punched her without thinking. he doesn't know if he can look her in the eye now after realising that, but with his Newtype ability, he starts to feel the genuine worry of a big sister trying to protect those she cares for, if a bit overprotective at times. Being able to connect like that gets him to realise he made a mistake trying to fight her on his safety.
"...I'm sorry." He finally admits, now a bit sheepish.
Seolla's expression softens at seeing Kamille like this, feeling she pushed him there. "It's okay, Kamille. Anger can be good, and it feels good now, but right now it's better to let it wash away."
Kamille breathes deeply. "Alright. I think I'm calm now. It's just that, I got involved because I got my parents killed trying to fight the Feds, so I feel I should have a right to be angry."
Seolla nods. "All of us do. If things go well, then a star system, not just the Earth Sphere could have an actual fairer, equitable Federation that cares about its citizens again."
He also nods with a 'hmph' of agreement. "I still probably wouldn't like the Federation anyway if that happens, but that's nice to think about. By the way, thanks for that save back there. You clipped that stupid fast Mobile Suit, with a Rick Dias?"
She blushes and shrugs. "I try my best. I was lucky I could aim and connect at all."
Kamille starts doing some crazy gestures trying to pantomime the battle. "No, you were trying to actually keep up with that thing!"
The blush fades and Seolla smiles bittersweetly. "Indeed I did, but honestly, I feel my piloting skill is too good for a Rick Dias and I can only push it so far."
He sighs in some frustration at her situation. "Well, the Zeta Gundam's about complete and its going to be on the way soon. Don't suppose Anaheim can put together another one for you?"
She gasps in surprise at the news. "Probably. I've got an eye on the Delta Gundam since I heard they finally got that off the ground. A Waverider mode with Anti-Beam coating?"
Something lights up in Kamille's eyes. "Yeah, that can really suit you! It's also kinda bringing me to the inevitable elephant, though."
She tilts her head in slight concern. "That I'm a Cyber-Newtype?"
His eyes briefly dart around in a slight panic, as she gestures to get him to start breathing and calm down again. "I didn't mean to word it like that. It's just that, I never imagined in a million years that one would just leave the Titans, I thought they'd have ways of keeping their hooks in you, and you're surprisingly normal considering... Four."
She breathes, reflecting on when she was with the Titans. "I was already a great pilot. They just wanted to make me 'better' and it's a miracle I came out of it the way I have."
Kamille's anger is reignited by hearing about the experimentation, but he decides to keep calm. "Damn those Titans. At least knowing you personally, I feel I have a real shot at helping Four, and she can join us like you. Maybe if the Zeta Gundam gets here in time, I can use the Biosensor to try and reach out to her when I meet her on the battlefield next. I know I can do it, I just don't have range."
Seolla's eyes briefly cast down out of sadness at Four's situation. "I'm worried about her even more, because they do have their hooks in with the conditioning they have on her. I don't believe that things can work out exactly as you want them, but we're already fighting for a pipe dream anyway, so it's worth a shot."
The fire in Kamille's eyes is reignited, steeled by some newfound determination to save Four Murasame when he gets the Zeta Gundam. "Seriously. Thank you for being there for me. I don't know what would've happened if you weren't." He raises his arm up in a mock toasting gesture with an audacious grin. "Anyway, to a better world, and beyond."
She giggles, and raises her arm in an identical gesture. "To a better world indeed."
The two clink their 'glasses' together and 'drink' after lifting each others' spirits. A better world helped formed by the AEUG was always going be a pipe dream, but in the moment, it feels like just the two of them can achieve it singlehandedly. They could be heroes.
Just for one day.
A/N: Behold my first omake ever. Hopefully it's worked out since I don't know how long it's been since I watched Zeta Gundam, so I intentionally kept the chronology vague beyond the Messala fight and sorta imagined what Kamille would be like with Seolla's influence and going on from there with Warmachine's suggestions.
Thanks for the shout-out and I appreciate it. The omake is really good so far. Seolla's influence really did rub off on Kamille in a positive way and they are gonna save Four Murasame.
I thought about it for a bit, but bumping Kiara Sessyoin down actually gives me a great opportunity to talk about a change to the Challenger system I'm making - or more precisely, making clear what's already soft policy.

Before Elizabeth Bathory worked her way up the ladder, Taco Liz was a regional chain. With her at the helm, it has reached almost 1000 stores, under her personal touch. That's talent right there, one she never had for singing.

Elizabeth Bathory, more commonly known as Liz, first appeared as a teenager with a dream (and dragon horns and tail). She dreamt of being an idol a singer loved by all, for the sense of control it gives her. For despite her cute appearance and excellent voice it's all ruined by Liz being a vain, narcissistic and sadistic woman who struggles to care for anyone not herself. This narcissism taints and ruins her singing with some audience members (who she calls Pigs and Deerlets) claiming to have been physically hurt at her concerts. This is such a shame since the few recordings that exist of her actually singing for someone else rival Minmei and Sheryl in popularity.
All these flaws made it impossible for Liz to work full time as an idol or even make any profit out of the career. So naturally she required another source of income to pay her living expenses. While she at first refused to do any 'peasant' work after living in cardboard boxes in dark alleys for weeks she eventually accepted a job at local fast food place.
She initially had much struggles adapting to the service industry and was nearly fired several times for mistreating customers, forgetting orders, and of course attempting to sing but she gradually improved. She quickly found a knack for the job and eventually she was even promoted to management. From there her skills blossomed even more and more with her quickly leading the stores she managed to record breaking profits quarter after quarter.
For all this Liz made the almost thinkable path of moving up the ladder from a lowly cashier all the way to corporate HQ itself. This is where her path would normally end for no matter how competent you are or how many reforms you implement that save the company money is not enough to move up even more. The office becomes a nest of vipers constantly competing and sabotaging against each other and the introduction of another rival of competence like Liz only made her the target of everyone. To make it stop you needed to join one of the various factions that made up Corporate HQ and to that you needed to grovel and bow to become part of the system like a good cog.
But Liz was much too prideful for that brownosing for she disdained her coworkers and their games. Thus to continue climbing the ladder she sought connections outside of the company that could help her. And she found them in the Kengan Association and its various sub-factions. Thus she made a gambles, dubious connections and promises that could ruin her but it was all worth it for the event that is now dubbed 'The Tournament Arc'. Through these series of Kengan Matches Liz not only claimed leadership of her own company but also some smaller fast food chains that tried to make their own play for the crown.
Thus TacoLiz was born as one of the biggest fast food franchises in the Earthsphere whose rivals could be counted on one hand. Despite the name the franchise sells more than just tacos and other Mexican foods and is in fact famous for the varied menus of its various locations with many fans claiming a city isn't truly complete until it has multiple TacoLizs within 3 blocks distance of each other. There are even TacoLizs in space which often have richer menus due to closer connections to the food producing colonies. The future of TacoLiz is only ever looking brighter.
So why does she feel like she's only fading into darkness more and more? At first she was only a part timer who only worked as many hours as she needed to keeping living and prepare her next concert even if it was only a empty street side one. But then she eventually got asked to work full time and she couldn't say no which cut into her singing time promising herself this was just to build a nest egg for her return to idoldom. By the time she became a manager she barely had one day a month to try being an idol and it was just as empty as before. When she became CEO of the newly founded TacoLiz it had been years since she had sung just for herself let alone for a concert. Now that she's basically accomplished everything she had ever planned for TacoLiz with no clear way forward she no longer has anytghing distracting her from the reality. That she was no longer a young kid who tried her best to be a shining idol loved by all but a middle aged woman who had cast aside her dreams for the sake of money.
A part of her wants to just implusively throw it all away. Just take her money and leave TacoLiz behind to make another attempt at being an idol. But through her years working her way up she gained a real love for the industry and to throw it away would be to leave all those employees who counted on her to the winds, abandoning the sense of responsibility she had gained. The best solution would be to simply be both idol and CEO but for some reason she couldn't find her voice to sing being just too afraid to confirming if she had truly lost it, the ability to be an idol loved by all. She needed a push, a way forward, something that could help her find the light that she had lost. A way of Innovating herself that she couldn't do alone.
It's not a perfect image since ideally I would find an office lady older Liz whose hair is transitioning partially to Camilla's white but the only image I found of that had Liz in a bikini so enjoy Milf Liz instead. Not planning on doing anything with the idea of kid Camilla. Source Link

Regardless TacoLiz has locations everywhere and sponsors all over the place from local sports teams to entire Kengan sections. Any company would be glad to hire her and several smaller ones would beg to be hired by her if her component management applied to their business.
Personal Fit: Beyond Perfect (X.25)
The people of Raven's Nest and their actions reminds Liz of old friends and Masters that she had forgotten had much she missed. Also as far as secret conspiracies go she's had recruitments from worse. For while no one in this world may know it Elizabeth Bathory is a Sinner and she earnestly wishes to work for redemption so a group like this only feels right to her.

If someone could help her find it again she would quickly try and shine again with all the lessons she's learned.
