After the mess you made of it the last time you decided to attend to your Lunar responsibilities, this time you decide to attend to your post and be a good, obedient servant - something that doesn't come naturally to you, but needs must.
You fetch and carry obediently. You blend into the background. You show up every day, and you begin to shift. You become accustomed to the thither and yon of the Kami offices; sensitive to the daily requests for tea and papers. Gradually, you start to fit in. And while you doubt Luna is likely to come down and promote you, you feel you've qualified - maybe even overqualified - for the position of courtier beneath her.
The clatter of bokken echoes as you stalk the ranks of students, watching them practice with spear, fist and sword. After much work put into the fundamentals of the style, your ragtag students are finally starting to shape up and show proper form.
The rhythmic clacks of weapons drills echo among the novices, while your dozen or so intermediate students spar against each other with their full Breath. Not only will your intermediates learn combat this way, they'll also learn to extend their Breath and eventually cultivate new Cores. At least, if they have the potential.
Jiro is watching the spars, a new pair of bone knuckles clenched in his fists. Occasionally, he darts in to forestall dangerous blows, each time giving a chiding look to the striker.
Meanwhile, Oji and Rei are participating, learning to improve their style in the first four breaths and stay sharp against weaker opponents.

I don't think we should take Soulcatch until we clean up our style's reputation. Scavenging? Sure. Sheathed Claws? Definitely. The taboo technique that torpedoes the rest of our rep? No.
We need to spread the technique to more people, not keep it from being spread. We already got busted for not spreading it far enough, and for giving it a bad name; let's not repeat the experience.

I think we need to keep pushing Asuka's cultivation, tbh. Which means more cultivation bonuses, which means giving her more treasures.
Hunting demon-beasts for materials of good value probably requires more personal strength... Which means we prolly should start cultivating again.

The DC for cultivation and technique creation has risen every time it succeeded, yeah.
Presumably 'cause we do the easiest stuff first.
Since I'm in the thread, I'd like to call attention to a thing that's happened again - [] Unnoticed, Grey Rat Rides The Dragon wasn't titled as a plan, and so its votes are getting split between people voting for the entire thing and people just voting for the title. It'd be helpful if people remembered to start their plan names with the word Plan to avoid that.
