Still in Exile (ASOIAF/Dresden Files)

He'd thrown me a hesitant look and said "Well there's quite a bit. You have missed almost eight thousand years."
and said, "Well, there's quite a bit.
Are the Ironborn still jumped up pirates," I'd prompted. "The Singers, I mean Children of the Forest…"
jumped up pirates?" I'd prompted.
"Should you standing?" Bran asked, hesitantly. "Your wound?"
"Should you be standing?"
"You were always thinking ahead," I chuckled,
"You were always thinking ahead." I chuckled

Interesting thing about the Magic shown and practiced in ASOIAF/GOT!

As it is mostly performed through either ritualistic theurgy or manifests through inborn abilities, the mortal practitioner utilizes little true control over these powers themselves.

Harry's coming to Planetos obviously changed things for those like Bran the Builder.

In the Dresdenverse, those who learn Magic, especially those with innate talent for it, can learn to actually control and channel the very energies and forces that fuel one's spells!

And Bran, being a Greenseer, should he learn to fully tap into the powers of Creation, as a true Wizard like Harry...;)

You're the second person to suggest that lol. Idky but Show!Bran overwrote my mental mental image of Book!Bran. I had to go back and do some editing.
I was hoping you would keep it and make it intentional that after accepting Mab's offer she changed his look to be more Stark. It would have added more mysticism to Bran and the Old Gods showing clear favour to the Starks which Mab is doing.

Actually the magic of Westeros and the Dresdenverse in general are oddly compatible. Just take all the accumulated wisdom of ages and remove if and then you have Westeros. Or it could be hidden away in Ashshai but that's much the same in results. A bunch of minor talents working off guess's and instinct.
