Starblazers: Journey Home (Space Battleship Yamato 2199 RP)

Melda's probably the next figure I'd buy at a good price. Maybe Niimi if it were very cheap, but generally the pilots seem much more impressive in the Yamato Girls series. Melda, or Morii in her yellow flight suit, but that's way up there in cost.
I'm going to Japan late this summer. I'll see if I can't grab one for cheap.

Mm, definitely Melda and/or Akira for me. There's a nice-looking Yuki Mori on HLJ for about $45, plus shipping from Japan, if that suits you.

Well these ones aren't as good as some of the others, but they're cheap.

I have a mighty need.

That's the Yamamoto figure I own, it was a Christmas gift to myself back before I was laid off. :lol:lol And I paid a little bit more than that too!

Depending on the quality, I might still buy the Yamato Girls Pilot Yuki Morii too one day--especially if I'm working full time again.

I very foolishly left most of a out-of-action post sitting in the draft box and it got wiped out. :( Too bad, it was pretty good--let's see how much if it I remember. But I'll post a proper reply.

If you're going to leave something sitting in the reply box, copy paste it to a text document.

I should've just pasted it into Word, formatting be damned. Oh well. Hopefully when I finally get around to posting it it'll be as good as it was, or close to it.

After this battle we'll use Gamilon wreckage to up armor our ships so they aren't so... squishy.

We aren't getting Wave Motion shields, though. Our ships are kind of plot armor protected already since we can dictate damage to them.
The real boost here is the NPC ships, which won't yield to Gamilon fire like an unsecured tent in a blizzard.
Cool. On another note post is up. Please let Braddock leading boarding parties not be a terrible idea like my paranoid self insists it is.... Also shouldn't we take out the AA guns at least before boarding? Those would cut our assault boats to ribbons.

That's what the Tenri Tagh's gunships are for.
And the resistance once on board will be some Gamilloids. Taking it will be relatively easy.

And since Braddocks not terminally stupid and has some hand to hand training, as well as some surprisingly good sword training ( and a gun because he's not stupid), he'll live.

"Contact with CruRon 4 Flag lost," the ship's main computer reported, "Status of flag unknown."

Admiral Tremblay noted the message. A shame, that was a competent Cruiser Squadron, but even with shields, mere Cruisers could only go so far.

Quick question, is the Admiral implying here that the entire squadron has shields, or just the flagship?
