Star Wars the Clone Wars: A Padawan's Tale (A CK2/Adventure Quest in the Clone Wars) Complete.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Pazaak is a droid's game. I love so much about Kotor but I let Pazaak die on Taris. Not even all the goodies on Yavin Station are worth Pazaak.

Well, maybe it's because I was a blackjack dealer for a few friends tournaments and cleaned them all out, which made me love the game so much.

I might throw in a Saabak game option because it's also popular in the Star Wars universe.

Sabacc plays more to our strengths. More choices. More play styles. More shenanigans.

Now, if we could hone Precognition we could really clean up at Pazaak.

Technometry, Sense Thoughts, or Force Persuasion would also be good for Sabacc. "You want to go all in on this lousy hand, it's late and you can sleep once you're out."

She's apparently so attractive she causes the Empire to spontaneously form just so it can be more likely to notice her?

Hell, there's a lot of sith artifacts out there
Who knows, he might find something to tip the scales in his favour...

So I am going to keep the vote open for another day, due to meetings.

A New Life Arc: Tatooine 2
A New Life Arc: Tatooine 2

You walked to the Pazaak players cheering and hollering as one of the men won big on the pot. "All right lads! Who else wants to face me!?"

"I'm game." You responded firmly as you revealed yourself to the player, who had quite a bit of currency on his side of the table. The pirates were quite surprised at your sudden appearance, and were… not pleased.

"Why would I play with a no-name like you, who just crawled out of the desert?" The pirate replied.

He did not see your lightsaber, and you would rather keep it that way. MAybe so it wasn't stolen by them, or you had to pull it out.

You took off the commlink on your wrist. "This commlink is worth five hundred credits on the open market, more if you look underneath the markets." The pirate's eyes widened. "I take this will be some good collateral?"

"We don't use credits here." The pirate replied. "Only Mos Espa may see credits, but not here. Only Wupiupi is accepted."

"Than let's play a game, my friend." You replied. "I win, 500 Wupiupi. You win, you get my commlink."

The pirate was about to say something to his friends before he sighed "Fine."

You grabbed one of the decks left on the table, shuffled it, and drew a hand. "Best of Three Rounds?"

"Yeah." The pirate replied.

Round 1:1D100 => 81 vs 1D100 => 23

The first round was simple enough, you just needed to add a +3 to your hand to get twenty, and the pirate went over twenty, not wanting you use the cards in his hands.

Round 2: 1D100 => 51 vs 1D100 => 73

The second round, you drew only a -2, and it wasn't enough to keep your hand from becoming over 20, and the pirate won the round.

"Give it up, I'm hotter than the suns beating down outside!" The pirate replied.

Round Three: 1D100 => 73 vs 1D100 => 67

But the last round was quite simple. The -2 brought you down to twenty, and the pirate placed too much faith in a +2 to keep him in the game, going over.

"Blast it!" The pirate shouted as you slide over 500 Wuupiupi.

"Another Game?" You asked. "The commlink is gone, but you can get your money back." You replied.

"You got lucky kid." The pirate replied. "I won't lose again."

"Same as before, out of three?" You asked.

"Of course."

Round 1:1D100 => 36 vs 1D100 => 35

The first round went almost the same, except you didn't even need you to use many of your cards, getting to a twenty with only a -2 and a +3.

Your opponent was rather skilled as well but made a crucial error. Instead of placing a +2 to get an advantage, and draw. He used a -3 trying to gamble on a 4… instead getting a six.

You won the round.

Round 2: 1D100 => 69 vs 1D100 => 49

The second round was simpler, you stood at a 19, without any cards to bring forward a twenty.

But the force was on your side, as the pirate was in the same boat. And instead of drawing, he gambled on a two to get the twenty.

He instead got a three.

"BLAST IT!" He shouted, slamming his hands on the table.

You took more money away from him, a fair 500. "Tell me this, my friend? You heard anything interesting?"

"Interesting?" The pirate asked. "Why should I tell you anything?"

"Because I'll give you the thousand shiny coins you lost back, for information?" You asked.

The pirate thought for a moment, and he smiled. "Fine… only if you beat me again."

Round 1: 1D100 => 92 vs 1D100 => 8

The first round was utter humiliation, you got a natural twenty without using any cards, and the pirate blew through three cards to only get a 17.

You won the round.

Round 2:1D100 => 50 vs 1D100 => 49

But the second round was far trickier. The pirate had a fresh hand, and he used every single card he had to get himself closer to 20.

But he only got to a 19.

You, on the other hand, were lucky. You got to 17, then used a +3 to get to a twenty, winning the game.

The pirate was impressed. "Your good." He stated.

"Yeah, it might be a droid game, but I'm very good at it." You replied.

The pirate nodded. "Fine. I'll tell you something."

Information quality: 1D100 => 88
Detect Lie:1D100 => 72+20=92
(The man isn't lying)

"Count Dooku is here at Jabba's palace, keeping in contact with an ugly looking hag on his commlink. It's like he's waiting for her to deliver something to him. A message or recording. I don't know. But what I do know, is that he knows much more then he lets on to Jabba, lying to the slug at every chance he gets." The pirate replied. "But you didn't hear none of that from me, you hear?"

"What information, we're just playing Pazaak?" You replied with a smile.

"Exactly." The pirate replied.

"Live well." You replied.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Master Kenobi." You stated as you arrived back at the main hallway where your master was waiting. "Count Dooku is here."

"I know." Master Kenobi replied calmly.

"He's been lying to Jabba the entire time he's been here." You replied. "And a woman he's talking to is monitoring the situation on Teth."

"It must be Ventress." Master Kenobi stated.

"Who?" you asked.

"An assassin, trained in the Darkside by Count Dooku." Master Kenobi stated. "Is there anything else?"

"He's waiting for something… or someone, I don't know." You replied.

Master Kenobi smiled. "Wait by the ships, I won't be long."

You felt, relief… while also feeling worry in the pit of your stomach. "What are you going to do?" You asked.

"Tell the truth of course." He replied.

Obi-Wan:1D100 => 90+10 (Other bonuses disabled)=100
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The ships were still there, prepared to fly away as you saw Master Kenobi walk out, smiling, and being thanked by several of Jabba's key advisors.

"What's going on?" You asked.

"Count Dooku has been removed from Jabba's court." Master Kenobi stated. "And he has been requested to remain out of Jabba's territory until his son was returned by his assassin."

Oh. "All that based on the testimony of yourself?" You asked.

Master Kenobi nodded. "Yes. Dooku acted in bad faith in front of Jabba, at least in Jabba's eyes by not being forthcoming with where he was receiving his information."

"So, we're off to Teth?" You asked.

"Yes." Master Kenobi stated.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you do before you arrive at Teth:

[]Meditate: You need to center yourself. Feel the force… and rest.

[]Talk to Master Kenobi: Master Kenobi wants to talk to you, mostly about… your Pazaak habit.

[]Prepare for Battle: You want to have a strategy for when you hit the ground if there is a battle raging.

[]Talk to the Clones: You want to meet the clone troopers who will be trusting you to lead them, and you are trusting with your life.

AN: enjoy.
