As the two Geonosians near their supposed prey, a blaster bolt, courtesy of Longshot's sniper rifle, tears through the head of one of the bugs. The other Geonosian chitters angrily in its alien tongue as its comrade's corpse drops to the ground. The Geonosian pinpoints where Longshot is and fires its sonic blaster at him before landing a few feet from him, hoping to put him on the defensive. Although the blast misses Longshot, the Geonosian doesn't intend to go down without a fight.
