I have a soft spot for Red Garland. This is the stand which punched everyone, ultimate cars and creator gods included, in the face.

And then they started melting. And burning. And freezing. And bleeding. And dying from poison. And they lost ability to see, hear or feel too. And their soul is crippled and diminished forever, with all following consequences. And literally all other possible negative effects, at the same time.

Yeah. I suspect that is a just a mistake.

It is nothing like a requiem stand, being merely a logical conclusion of RG's evolution; it learns to inflict status effects unrelated to physical damage, like driving opponents mad or setting them on fire fairly early.

Then it should have a different name. Purple Haze's full power is Purple Haze Distortion, Weather Report becomes Heavy Weather, and so on...

I thought you could come across the Arrow under certain circumstances, and the attack was named that because it was Red Garland's new ability.

Nah, it messes with other people's brain chemistry to control them, make them not notice you, make them experience horrific pain, etc. If you want a danger sense, the closest you'd come is probably Sonic Youth's echolocation, or Wildhearts's enhanced senses and rudimentary intelligence if it were an option.

Ah, Ok. Still, I wonder how it senses brain chemistry. Can it sense when someone is preparing to attack via brain chemistry, and if an ally is about to be attacked can they be warned by giving them a sense of danger? Some sort of long-range empath that can keep track of allies and search for threats? Well, maybe. Actually, with this ability you could probably brainwash someone if enough time. Probably the scariest stand.
