You sleep like a log for nearly a full day, waking up early the next morning to find a note on your door. Heading to the beach at 10. Naka's handwriting reads. See me if either of you need a swimsuit.
Walking up next to you, Juneau takes the note from your hand. "So how much do I have to fear from this?" She asks, no doubt having the same questions you once had about Naka's fashion sense.
"Don't worry." You tell her with a smile as you walk out into the hall. "Naka knows what she's doing. Let's go grab some food first." The two of you make your way down to the cafeteria, finding it sparely populated. Given that it's only 0500, it's not really all that surprising.
"Morning!" Naka calls out to you as you sit down. "Did you get my note?"
"We'll be over after breakfast." You tell her with a smile. "So where are we headed anyways?"
"Sarushima Island. The beach there has been well maintained even with everything going on in the war, and its only a short sail across the harbor for us."Naka gives you a playful smile before skipping off. "I'll leave you two to your food. You know where to find me."
Quickly chowing down, you leave the mess hall and head over to Naka's room. Handing Juneau over to the light cruisers care, she reappears a couple minutes later. Naka's outdone herself once again, giving your sister a beautiful coral blue bikini that fits her just right. "I'm surprised you had anything in Juneau's displacement." You admit to her.
"Like big sister, like little sister." She teases, poking your chest. "Speaking of that…" Before you can react, Naka grabs you by the arm and pulls you into her room, closing the door behind you. "Here." She hands you another swimsuit. It's a two piece, the top being more of a sports bra in shape rather than the traditional style orange one she's wearing. Its color scheme is a series of grey, powder blue, and Navy blue waves radiating from its center. The bottom portion is just a simple pair of Navy blue shorts. "I know you're not much of a flaunter." She says as you get dressed. "Unless you want something a little skimpier."
"No, this is fine." You squeak before powerwalking out of the room. Joining your sister, the three of you head over to the waterfront. Naturally, you're the last ones there.
"Still couldn't get her into a real bikini?" Helena asks Naka as she looks you over, dressed in a black two piece that doesn't leave much to the imagination. "Honestly Atlanta, you're not even that big." Her comment draws the ire of a few of the Japanese girls. "You all have seen my sisters, right? The only reason she looks big is because the rest of you other than the battleships and the Takaos' are washboards."
"Let's just get over there." Naka finally grumbles as she jumps in the water.
---
"Thanks for setting all this up, Naka." You tell her as you two lounge on your beach towels, watching as your destroyers splash around in the surf. "I didn't even know this was out here."
"It's our little secret spot." Naka admits with a shrug. "A good place to relax and unwind." You nod, remembering how Oahu's beaches had been rendered unusable because of mine fields and barbed wire like many of the other once pristine vacation spots. This little island though? Well, if the Abyssals are threatening it, you likely won't ever need vacation time ever again.
"So I was wonder." Naka turns to you as you begin. "I wanted to take my sister on a night on the town. Would you mind being our guide?"
Naka's smile brightens in a way that kind of scares you. "What did you have in mind?"
[] You know the area better than I do, I'll leave that to you."
[] "I was thinking of taking her to Akihabara."
[] Write-in.
