When Metro Man died, the supervillain Megamind felt like he was on top of the world! No more Mr. Goody Two-Shoes, the bustling metropolis of Metro City was his to rule, and the world would recognize his name as its #1 Supervillain and Evil Overlord!
Or at least, that was before Earth hit rock bottom. Figuratively and literally.
Alien invaders, magical warlords, and supervillain masterminds all vie for power across the planet to break the ongoing cold war that Earth has been enveloped by. It is only a matter of time before somebody breaks that cycle and takes the reins of this new era that history is developing.
