FORTIFY YOUR BORDERS
Dice Rolled: 45+3 (Martial)=48
With all the strange happenings of ghosts and aliens unfolding around your little slice of America, you decided that it'd be better safe than sorry to take precautions to avoid any foreign presence wandering into your city.
Minion proved helpful in this instance, dropping off a list of locations that you had (totally not forgotten) stored away machines and other war assets that you kept in reserve for battles against Metro Man. And as luck would have it, those hidden caches were still good for use.
Took a little bit of time and elbow grease to tinker around, but within days, new patrols of DOOM-Bots were sent out to prowl the checkpoints of Michigan while you return back to Metro City with plenty of goodies to work with.
REWARD: You've managed to plant DOOM-Bots along the borders of Michigan and the Great Lakes, establishing key checkpoints to see if anyone coming in or going out of your kingdom isn't a threat to your plans. But you feel like there's always room for further development…
New Actions unlocked to do research and continue work on EVIL plans you kept in reserve.
-5 to Intrigue Actions undertaken by enemies.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Dice Rolled: 53+3 (Diplomacy) +12 (Spencer's Diplomacy)=68
The people weren't exactly keen on having a supervillain controlling their city, which was like, really dumb. After all, you couldn't rob a bank in broad daylight without Metro Man swooping in to stop the fun, so why would they complain about that now without restrictions? It's just silly.
Luckily, Minion Spencer volunteered (Read: Was ordered) to reach out to the public on his own volition. It took some time to organize a meeting with one irate Roxanne Ritchi, and the interview you watched later that night was a little awkward on Minion Spencer's part. Maaaaaaybe you should've let him know that you were responsible for killing her boyfriend. Whoops.
Still, despite her icy attitude, Roxanne was fair enough to Minion Spencer to let him speak and she seemed surprised to hear about some of the plans you had for Metro City involving increased security with the DOOM-Bots and wanting to let the people know that things won't devolve into total anarchy.
Which is dumb, because why rule over the ashes of a city? You'd have to be really, really dumb to want to be the king of a wasteland.
And it seems that Minion Spencer's words were quite resonating with the people, as you saw a surprising rise in pro-Megamind supporters in Metro City. By 3%, a stunning record from the usual 0!
Oh, and it would seem that Minion Spencer is something of an online celebrity. Turns out he used to be a part of some… webshow?
Huh.
REWARD: Despite the people of Metro City fearing you and your blue-headed genius intellect, Spencer has managed to convey to some that your rule will not be as tyrannical as they would make it out to be. And apparently, his personality is seen by some as charming and fun to get along with.
New Actions unlocked in generating propaganda and other media-related activities.
REACH OUT TO CONGLOM-O CORP
Dice Rolled: 60+2 (Stewardship) +6 (Minion's Stewardship) +5 (TRAIT UNLOCKED: #1 GUY, +5 TO STEWARDSHIP FOR RECOGNIZABILITY)=73
The recent paranormal hauntings cropping up along the Midwest has scared off many people, but those that have stayed behind to brave the storm reap the benefits. One of them being the ever-growing CONGLOM-O Corporation, whose fingers are in many pies, including a few businesses in your own Kingdom.
You weren't exactly the businessman that this CEO guy, some loud frog in a suit, was for CONGLOM-O but you had your own amphibious Minion to negotiate a meeting with the man… frog.
Minion set out with promises of figuring out just what they were dealing with… and came back with half his suit on fire. But he seemed happy to report that CONGLOM-O got the message that they wouldn't be rolling over for their company to expand interests in your Kingdom.
Of course, that raises more concerns with you. If these guys could get away with making a quick buck inside your own borders, what's from stopping you doing the same to other Kingdoms? More importantly… how?
REWARD: Minion has made contact with Conglom-O Corp, which has agreed to leave your domain alone. For now. He has also pointed out to you the need to start looking into ways to establish trading with neighbors.
New Actions unlocked for Stewardship involving trade and economical questions.
INVESTIGATE A REGION (The Midwest)
Dice Rolled: 49+4 (Intrigue)=53
The Midwest has been deemed number one as the most haunted land in the entire world, so sayeth some kids that gather around campfires at midnight. Whether in your house or under your bed, on the streets or dining on exquisite cuisine along long stretches of road, it would seem that these ghosts seem almost unstoppable in their element.
Almost being the key word. Apparently, a group of random people (you're using that term mainly because you can't tell if these guys are either overzealous teens or adults trying to fit in with the young crowd) called the Masters' Blasters going around and catching the ghouls. They've already made an impact in states like Iowa and Missouri, getting rid of most of the ghosts there. But it's still a long way to getting things back to the way they were.
Even you couldn't help but cringe at the latest video posted online about those ghost hunters, and their odd Earth slang while hunting down someone called "Johnny 13" in Illinois. But at the end of the video, you managed to catch a glimpse of the man who rules the Midwest and the founder of Masters' Blasters: Vlad Masters.
"As it stands," you watch him say, a solemn tone to his voice. "I understand some of the people's concerns when it comes to my group of elite ghost hunters catching the paranormal and other weird happenings in our once great country. To which I say that they are necessary for our own security. These… aliens in the North and supercriminals in the South are but one of many problems that have arisen since the Cataclysm, not counting the strange sightings along the West Coast. We have a chance to fend off these ghosts with the technology we have at our disposal, giving us that chance to fight back and reclaim what was once ours. To ensure that no further tragedies will happen again, just like the incident at Amity Park. On my honor, and to the fallen, I swear it."
Amity Park, you muse to yourself. What a funny name.
REWARD: The identity of your neighbor has been revealed: Vlad Masters, a reclusive if eccentric billionaire who operates out of his mansion located in Wisconsin. Not much else is known about him, outside of his private ghost-hunting force called Masters' Blasters being used to corral most of the paranormal activity in his Kingdom.
Actions unlocked to investigate states where paranormal activity is high inside Vlad's Kingdom.
UPGRADE THE DOOM-BOTS
Dice Rolled: 24+28+10 (TRAIT UNLOCKED: GREASE MONKEY, +10 TO LEARNING TO GO BEYOND NORMAL BOUNDARIES AND ACHIEVE SOMETHING THAT MEGAMIND WANTS)=62
And they said that you had let yourself go in the robotics field. Ridiculous! Such slanderous words could not be said without some response to counter it.
Within weeks, the same DOOM-Bots that patrolled the city streets were fitted with new and improved armor and weapons bound to make any intruder say more than just Ouch.
At this point, you were just daring someone foolish enough to try and make a move against you. It'd be hilariously funny to see them fail against the marvels of your intellectual mind.
REWARD: The DOOM-Bots have been upgraded to security and defense patrols around Metro City, managing to blend into the shadows with nary a trace. Enemies will find taking over the city harder than expected with a swarm of floating robots harassing them from every corner.
-10 to foreign powers' attempts to invade and/or occupy Metro City.
CAPTURE A GHOST
Dice Rolled: 20
Huh. You had thought that the ghosts you would find out in the woods of Michigan would be somewhat scary as the ones the Masters' Blasters fought against. But alas…
"BEWARE! I AM THE BOOOOX GHOOOOOOST~"
…they were not.
It wouldn't be as bad if this one didn't come and go at his CONVENIENCE!!
REWARD(?): You have acquired a ghost for your own to study, the Box Ghost, albeit he is free to come and go as he pleases. You'll have to come up with more advanced ways to contain any future hauntings from ghosts of his caliber, or worse…
New Actions have been unlocked to research and develop anti-ghost technology for future insurance.

"Megamind? Changed? As if."
You hold back from flipping the channel again as you gaze into the angry eyes of Roxanne Ritchi, whose pain and anger can be felt even across the screen of your TV.
"Need I remind some of you viewers back home what exactly he's done to us? To this city and how he got to where he is now? When he ki-"
She takes a moment to compose herself and you find yourself transfixed as well. Pondering on the pain she was going through… and the pain going on inside yourself.
"He was always there for us. Dependable. Perhaps we took him for granted, or maybe... we never really know how good we have it until it's gone. We miss you, Metro Man... I... miss you. And I have just one question for Megamind."
You don't break your gaze from the screen, hands squeezing around the leather armrests of your chair, as Roxanne judges you.
And then… she asks her question.
"Are you happy now?"
…
Are…
Are you?
REWARD: The people of Metro City are still wary of your rule, but the P.R. stunts done by Spencer have softened the worst of the blows. However, Roxanne Ritchi's words still ring heavily in your mind…
New Personal Actions for Megamind have opened up…
+2 to Megamind's Domestic Reputation
GET A TRAINING REGIMEN GOING
Dice Rolled: 46
So apparently, you weren't the most athletic supervillain this side of the Atlantic. Whatever, you still had that gym membership to Planet Fitness lying around here somewhere.
And the staff were really nice to you on your first day, showing you around their training rooms and spa services after coercing them off the floor, and cleaning the mucus and tears off their faces. They offered a training plan which you have been making great strides on, losing about seven pounds your first two weeks and building up endurance via cardio and upper body-strength. If only Metro Man could see you now.
Strangely, your efforts seem to have earned you the ire of someone in the gym, based on them recording and posting a video of you failing to bench press a 30-lb weight without any help nearby. You vow to catch this perpetrator and bring them to VILLAIN JUSTICE!!
REWARD: You have started a biweekly training regimen that has given you some muscle to your noodle limbs. While an improvement, you feel like you can still climb higher to hit your peak.
+2 Increase in Megamind's Martial Skill.
New Action Unlocked: Find the Gym Vandal!
Random Action
Dice Rolled: 19
It would seem that memes have been made about your horrific first attempts at bench pressing the other day. Already, it has become trending across the nation and many of your neighbors see you as a laughingstock.
Oh bother.
