As you look around people pause in silence. The cashier has begun putting the money back in the register, but doesn't meet your eyeline.
No one has called the cops yet, neither to help you nor get you arrested, but you notice a few of them looking over at a few big looking gentlemen in tracksuits that have started walking over to you.
"Memory problems, huh? This city has seen quite a few memory loss cases. More than normal. We might be able to help." One of the bigger guys says as he sizes you up.
"And what city would this be, exactly?"
"San Fransokyo."
Huh. You think you remember a SanFrancisco, but that name does make sense considering the golden gate bridge you saw earlier.

You decide it's finally time to get out of the dumpster. It took awhile but you found the suit's zipper at your ankle and took it off, tying it around your waist for later use. Hopefully you would find a way to get it cleaned eventually. It is a rather professional looking suit.
Going the opposite way that you did in the other timeline, you walk past the sidewalk and notice a well dressed man tossing a newspaper into the garbage next to a bench before leaving. You move over to pick it up and see USA Newz on the cover: issue June 2015.

The new owner of the San Fransokyo Mech Wrestling League has had a hugely successful grand opening of the "Fuego Arena" constructed by famous architect Roddy Blair. Attendance in the arena is booming as El Fuego has harnessed people's love to hate him. Audiences come back every day to see who will finally dethrone him in the ring, sometimes even surpassing the crowds of bot-fights, especially with viewers tuning in from far away.
Mech Wrestling? That definitely seems far more... futuristic than anything you remember.

San Fransokyo, the San Francisco equivalent that is the primary setting of Big Hero 6.
Assuming that we are going with vanilla Gridlocked here, Los Angeles is Who Framed Roger Rabbit (may or may not be some Amphibia stuff lurking around) and to the north there is Ducktales territory and then Zootopia near the border with Canada.

Just a warning, while Big Hero 6 the movie will tell you who the original heroes and big bad were as well as the general feel of the city, most places and characters will probably come from the tv series that came after the movie.
The main idea is that Gridlocked crosses over most of the big names in contemporary Disney settings, such as BH6, Incredibles, Gravity Falls, Kim Possible, Roger Rabbit, Gargoyles, P&F, Uncle Scrooge, and Meet the Robinsons. Put them together and you have an anything-goes cyberpunk superhero/urban fantasy setting.
