Sketch Makes Her Own Warhammers

The jokes will bring a smile to your face when you look at them during battle.
This will cause your opponent to become paranoid about "what the hell is making Sketch so happy?!?!"
Thus properly terrified, they are more likely to make critical errors.

Happy gaming :coolbeans:

PAX is in just a few days, and i want to make sure i'm ready to play my first games of Warhammer 40,000 in almost fifteen years. Quck-reference will be handy, but GW no longer sells the Space Marine data cards.

So I decided to make my own, styled on 2nd edition Datafax cards. I... got a bit carried away, as usual.

I don't know why i put so many jokes in, I'm gonna be the only person seeing these.
Glad to see attention paid to keeping up the troops' (your) morale!

…I should start using that phrasing for myself

God, but he is, isn't he? They put the man in armour too lumbering to perform medical procedures, surrounded him with soldiers in armour too thick to perform medical procedures, and told him "look just go have fun".

These datacards - sorry, datafax - are amazing.

Incidentally, I think the stats on your Heavy Intercessors are wrong.

Also he just plain doesn't have either of the current versions of medic rules, giving neither a Feel No Pain save nor letting models get back up. He's basically just the Gravis Lieutenant.

And funnily enough, both of these could be solved by giving him some tentacle mechadendrites with the tools to partially open up the armor non-destructively, and then do his thing via endoscope. They have the technology!

Definitely hitting the better side of the oldhammer vibe with them!

How did the warhammering go?

Space Marines in their Natural Environment

Whoops i forgot to post these! These guys are done save for some final waterslide transfers (i ordered custom ones so i could do the numbers on their right shoulder pad and the classic army markings) and i'm making progress on some others. my hobby time has been rather scattershot but like, my life unravelled very thoroughly and i just kinda did whatever was fun for a few months without much rhyme or reason.

i'm finishing up the gravis marine with heavy bolter, eliminator, and a few assault intercessors, and then if i can also get a captain done i'll have a full selectable roster for an Angels of Death kill team all painted. They take a while to paint due to my insistence on glazing gradients on every single surface but i think they look okay.

I just had instant flashbacks to the photos in the 3e core rule book and Codex: Space Marines.
Fantastic modelling and a really amazing paint job.

I presume it's part of the point, but those blueberries are just so bright! Especially on that green bbackground. Also, I spy a sneaky beaky!
