Ah, I see you're using the map from the
Project Daybreak AU (albeit, not the
latest version). We should really cajole Tacitus into finishing his political maps of the Covenant domains in the other three quartals one of these days, but it hasn't been a high priority. Given the lack of good maps of the Halo setting, I find the fact that you jumped at the chance to use Daybreak's both unsurprising and extremely gratifying. In fairness, it's use in an play-by-post Grand Strategy Role-Playing Game is not outside of what was originally envisioned; the ultimate intent of the Daybreak Continuum was and is to create a creative sandbox for other people to play in.
Some of the locations of interest
do have wiki articles written for them, but for the most part its an empty canvas and a list of cool-sounding names just waiting for someone to fill in the details. I'm sure that whatever SV cooks up for this game will scarcely resemble what's already been written for Daybreak, but I
am interested in seeing how you interpret the map through the lens of your own imaginations. If this goes well, perhaps we'll see more Halo GSRP games using Daybreak's maps in the future.
I don't think I have the time or energy to play right now, sadly; I'm just dropping in to say hi.
