Shounen Fightin' Anime [Shounen Protagonist Quest]

Kind of torn. Omicron's has character, effort and general idea of what that character stands for and is trying to achieve.

On other hand, char's description is rather... plain, and I'd prefer something more distinct for a protagonist, especially as we are apparently going full anime.

Hmm, that's fair. Appearance is usually where I struggle and ruthlessly steal voter write-ins, but unfortunately I am not the QM this time :V

Obviously she looks like Katara from ATLA.
 
I am legit salt. I have the same set up as Omi and a distinctive looking protag. Just, what?
 
I'm still trying to figure out the best way to be Negi Springfield, because the OP makes me think of UQ Holder really, really hard.

But Alita is a badass cyborg, and while Battle Angel Alita is an amazing manga that I love, I want to make someone who is punching her way through a world of aliens, espers and cyborgs on the pure power of the human body and tenacious will!

Here's the skeleton anyway, I kind of like the idea of the Daughter of a Former Champion who'd normally end up being the Love Interest in a more standard Shonen Fightin' Series, and ends up with that all being derailed by sudden intervention of villain and horrible, life-threatening injuries that can only be sorted out by extreme surgery, and because good fucking luck getting the Good Stuff in the boonies, it's obvious, uncomfortable, basically only gets by on what limited natural talent remains coupled with extreme punchyfist power.

I'd be okay with getting an Alita though, because Alita is awesome.

But yeah, I want to run a Cyborg character, I'm just not really fond of the design in Lazy Minx' offering? She looks like someone out of Jojo, which is something I'd expect from a martial artist or the esper build than anyone else.

I love Guts, tear his arms and legs out of his body and he will crawl up to you and (somehow) beat you with his head and teeth unto a jam stain on the ground.

This links to Trunks and Gohan, which should boost the energy manipulation later, and seems to be the best for growth. Cyborg comes with problems, trainer doesn't give us the powers, artificial human links to the androids not trunks/gohan, Esper is not as versatile

Maximum versatility, means we won't be screwed by type matchups as often

Maximum versatility and tricks, which would let us leverage the power hopefully granted by mongrel the best.

Morality friend to keep us in line and heal us after fights.

Ah well, I would have much preferred to have Darts on board but I'd take classic Shounen over Alita any day of the week.

Ughhh.

The only thing I don't really like about Minx's option is the character design, it just doesn't quite feel right.
