SGD Director's Cut and Season 3 (Open Beta)

So I'm rewatching The Ark of Truth (call it research) and I noticed something. They basically had a free ride into the Ori galaxy. Granted, they had a cloaking device, but when they entered orbit around Celestis:

No ships, no orbital defence platforms, nothing. And this is essentially their capital. They could have just glassed it. Granted, it would probably just piss them off, but still, you'd think the Ori would be a little more careful than that. To be fair, though, it is a long shot, so maybe we just can't see them.

EDIT: Ignore the aspect ratio screwup. I blame either TinyPic or MPC-HC.

All I got to say in that regard is take the time to get it as perfect/right as possible. :)
The problem is that I don't have that time anymore- I'm too busy with real life things. That's why the majority of Season 3 sucked. But I'll try to produce a decent ending, because sucky endings suck.

Remember me?

Still not complete, but I've updated it and it's a little closer now. I also cleaned it up a bit and moved some stuff around.

For your viewing convenience, I've separated it into several branches. Some stories have been omitted since they don't fit into any branch and a lot of connections between stories that influenced each other have been dropped.

This is the Redwall branch, the oldest out of any of them. Fight for Freedom was the first fanfic I ever posted online, back in 2007. It's total length is less than the average chapter length of SGD Season 2, though it might beat the average chapter length of SGD Season 3. You know those really crappy fanfics that have chapters less than a thousand words long, tons of OOC, and make no sense? Yeah, I used to write those.

Halo branch is a little newer. At one point I thought Halogate was the greatest thing ever. Now I think the name was very well chosen, though I still sometimes append an extra -gate to the end for clarity. I used to classify my writings as pre-Halogate and post-Halogate, then pre-GateWar and post-GateWar, now I realize that writing quality against time is pretty much an exponential curve, although it's gone downhill recently. That's not for lack of skill, that's for lack of time. But I digress. This branch is basically Halogate and its derivatives. I included SGD and GateWar as well since they are contemporary and directly related.

Mass Effect branch. As you can see, a whole series was planned after Reboot: Mass Effect, but because of various issues described in that thread I dumped it. The biggest problem was that RME was supposed to be a oneshot, and I continued it by popular request. That means I never actually planned anything past the first chapter and I was basically making things up on the fly. I'll probably never write Endgame (ME3 alternate ending), so it really should be dark blue. And technically, I split Endgame into Castle Delta (entirety of ME3) and Endgame (ending only). I didn't include Battle of the Sheps or The Undiscovered Galaxy/Invasion in this branch since they cross over so much. In fact, I didn't include Invasion in any of the branches because it crosses over literally everything.

This should really be called the SGD branch, not the Stargate branch, since almost all of the stories are part of or directly related to SGD. You can see the two possible (abandoned) directions for SGD, Season 4 Ville de Quebec and Victory Province de Quebec. I don't know if that's proper French, but it's what I refer to them internally. York is what you're actually getting. Lazarus is based on the assumption that Janet was picked up by Anubis and brought back to life to become a prisoner, and also has cyborg-Sam in it. So there are good reasons I didn't write it. Gatewar was very closely tied to SGD, Gatewar V2 less so. Both are more or less concepts for a Stargate video game should they ever make one that doesn't suck. Revelation is an alternate ending of SGA where the Wraith launch a full assault, we fight back and disclosure (obviously) happens. This is probably the largest and most complex branch, excepting of course the miscellaneous branch.

Ah, the Miscellaneous branch, where everything that doesn't fit goes. For the most part- I left some out. Let's go from left to right, which is the normal way of reading things for the majority of readers here. Revolution is a variant on the ISOT concept, except part of the Soviet Union ends up in the Russian Empire in the Girl Genius verse. They start a new revolution, execute the (sparky) Tsars, create a new Iron Curtain, and assist in a very belated American Revolution. In other words, communism ensues. Countdown to Destiny is a re-imagining of the old movie The Final Countdown, which is about an American aircraft carrier that ends up in WWII. Good concept, bad execution since they never really do much. My version features the on-its-way-out Enterprise (this was conceived before it was decommissioned) and its carrier battle group, doing some serious damage. Path of Liberty is on this site, yes, I know the link in my signature doesn't work. Ascension was the product of too little sleep, it's on this site as well. Ascension is a text adventure I made for programming class, based on the same concept. Yes, I know I gave them the same codename, kind of. For the majority of its development, I referred to Ascension (the game) by the codename StarSystem (long story), but now I only refer to the engine (if you can call it that) by that name. The NCIS/Stargate crossover never came to pass, the best concept I could come up with was Cassie getting kidnapped with her Navy boyfriend murdered and something something Trust. Battle of the Sheps you know, Future Warfare made it one chapter in, which I rewrote three times before Modern Warfare 3 came out and made the story impossible. Dynasty refers to both the enemies being Chinese and the main character being Captain Price's daughter (also a Captain), one of a long line of military Price's (except usually it's the first-born son, he just didn't have any before his wife died). Battle of the Sheps you know- I regard it as a failed experiment. Among Fighting Men isn't on this site, but it's on FanFiction, and unfortunately I haven't updated in months. It's my attempt at writing a female OC fic for Call of Duty that doesn't make me want to tear my eyeballs out. I'm doing several things differently- she's older, not pretty, not inexplicably as good or better than the men (physically), Canadian, and doesn't start having sex with one of the main characters two months in.

I might release some of these aborted stories if there is interest.

Updated slightly. Who would you rather see? Lorne's team, the one-off Atlantis team from S1, someone else, or random nameless soldiers?

SG-114 (I'm assuming typo) is already in the Ubis Irda arc. I decided to go with Lorne's team, because they're probably the most established. If S3 was done properly, we would have seen a lot more teams doing various things around the galaxy.

I've decided to release some of the internal resources I've used to write SGD. Some of them are crap, some are outdated, and some make no sense without proper context, but I figure they may be of some interest to someone. So expect odd postings soon.

I'm not going to post every day, but typically I update the open beta every night. I'm tired of saying "beta updated", so if you're interested, just check every night or two.

I just realized I missed a perfect opportunity for Windows 8 bashing.

Fixed in about ten minutes of Photoshop.

EDIT: Although I suppose it should be Modern Toronto now.

I'm starting with Season One, which I wrote a lot of technical details for that I later went back on and redid because I fucked up so badly. Do not take anything in the following passage as canon.

SGC ships and equipment.odt

SHIPS:

Athena-class battlecruiser BCH-305/BC-3
Length: 535 meters
Span: 268 meters
Height: 143 meters
Complement: 10 F-302 or F-306, 4 A-307, 1-4 SG teams
Armament: 1 main railgun, 6 heavy railguns, 38 light railguns, 8 point-defense missile pods, 36 VLS tubes
Developed in parallel with the Daedalus class, the Athena-class battlecruiser is almost twice the size. Though it carries a small complement of fighters, its main strength lies in the massive main railgun and heavy naquadah-enhanced nuclear missiles. The Athena-class is well equipped for combat against fighters and other capital ships, but less so for ground action, as they only carry a few SG teams and no ground vehicles. Like the Daedalus and Prometheus class ships, the Athena-class is equipped with an Asgard hyperdrive, beaming technology, energy shielding, and primarily crystal-based circuitry.

Normandy-class assault carrier SCA-308/SC-1
Length: 602 meters
Span: 432 meters
Height: 245 meters
Complement: 40 F-302 or F-306, 18 A-307, 8 M301 tanks, 16 M302 troop carriers or M303 AA vehicles, 40-150 marines
Armament: 2 heavy railguns, 22 light railguns, 8 point-defense missile pods, 1 ground bombardment cannon
The Normandy assault carriers are designed primarily for planetary assault and secondarily for fighter engagements against enemy ships. Though poorly equipped for ship-to-ship combat, the Normandy more than makes up for it with fighter and ground forces. It is equipped with beaming technology to land troops, but the A-307s can be used as a backup.

Enterprise-class supercarrier SC-2
Length: 1267 meters
Span: 690 meters
Height: 315 meters
Complement: 100 F-306, 32 A-307, 2 C-308, 24 M301 tanks, 36 M302 troop carriers or M303 AA vehicles, 100-450 marines
Armament: 8 heavy railguns, 74 light railguns, 32 point-defense missile pods, 48 VLS tubes
Twice the length of the Normandy-class assault carriers and twice as wide as the length of the Prometheus, the Enterprise is the largest ship ever built by the Tau'ri. However, it is still dwarfed by even a Wraith Cruiser. Nevertheless, the large fighter and marine complement makes the Enterprise worth the expense. It is equally well equipped for both planetary assaults and ship-to-ship combat.

C-308 Multipurpose vessel
Length: 18 meters
Span: 11 meters
Armament: 4 light railguns, Star Streak /S missile system
Somewhere between a fighter and a ship, the C-308 is an Earth-built design similar in purpose to an Al'kesh and a Tel'tak all rolled up into one. Equipped with four light railguns and the Star Streak missile system, the C-308 can also beam nukes into the proximity of enemy ships, though it must get close to do so. The C-308 is highly maneuverable and equipped with a decent hyperdrive, powerful shields for a ship of its size, and of course transporters. It is a small design with an upper crew deck and lower cargo deck, engine access at the back of both decks.

FIGHTERS/GROUND VEHICLES:

F-306/F-2
Length: 12 meters
Wingspan: 12 meters, 6.6 meters folded
Crew: 2
Armament: 2 rapid-fire railguns, 1 internal weapons bay, external hardpoints
A replacement for the F-302, the F-306 is smaller and more dart-shaped in comparison. It is a similar multirole fighter, two person, equipped with sublight but not hyperdrive engines. The F-306 boasts improved maneuverability as well as upgraded armament. It has two railguns as well as hardpoints for fighter-to-fighter, ground-attack, or anti-ship nuclear missiles. Propulsion consists of two pulse detonation engines and an Asgard thruster. The F-306 can fold its trapezoidal wing and fly through a Stargate, though it is not safe to do so at high speeds. Despite being superior in almost every aspect to the F-302, it is lighter and smaller, mostly due to the omission of the useless hyperdrive unit.

A-307/A-3
Length: 16 meters
Span: 6.6 meters
Crew: 2
Passengers: 2 jump seats, 8 in convertible bay
Armament: 20mm Gatling gun, configurable weapons/cargo bay
Often compared to a helicopter, the A-307 is a multipurpose VTOL spacecraft. It can be configured to carry cargo, anti-ship weapons, or to land troops. Though normally armed with only a 20mm Gatling gun in the nose, the A-307 is capable of taking missiles, railguns, or even energy weapons. The A-307 is equipped with shields of moderate strength and a short-range hyperdrive. The A-307 is almost unique in having no wings at all, being designed to fit through a Stargate. It uses anti-grav units to stay in the air and an Asgard thruster for propulsion.

M301 Main Battle Tank
Crew: 2
Passengers: 2
Armor: 50-200mm trinium, Asgard energy shield
Armament: 1 main railgun, 1 12.7mm Gatling gun (coaxial), 1 .50 caliber machine gun on automated mount or Star Streak/G launcher
Initially, the M1A2 Abrams tank was chosen for offworld use. However, it was ultimately decided that though costly, the development of a tank specifically for offworld engagements would be necessary. The M301 is equipped with a railgun and a Gatling gun on the turret, energy shielding, and a naquadah based power plant. A Star Streak/G launcher can be substituted for the machine gun. The M301 has a two-person crew but can carry up to four people. Part of the new generation of combat vehicles, the M301 is sized to fit through a Stargate, fully amphibious, designed to operate for weeks without refueling or maintenance, and highly automated with interlinked communications systems.

M302 Armored Troop Carrier
Crew: 2
Passengers: 8
Armor: 10-75mm trinium, Asgard energy shield
Armament: 1 rapid-fire railgun, Star Streak/G missile system
Based on the chassis and powerplant of the M301 tank, the M302 troop carrier has less armour and weaker shielding. It was designed a smaller railgun that can fire rapidly, similar to those on the F-306. However, some early production models were fitted with a Bushmaster cannon like that on a Bradley as railguns were in short supply. The M302 can accommodate eight armoured troops as well as a driver and gunner. The M302 troop carrier can also be equipped with the Star Streak/G missile system. As with the M301 and M303, the M302 is designed to fit through a Stargate.

M303 Anti-Aircraft Vehicle
Crew: 2-3
Armor: 10-75mm trinium, Asgard energy shield
Armament: 2 rapid-fire railgun, Star Streak/G missile system
Based directly on the M302, the M303 removes the passenger compartment to accomodate VLS tubes for Star Streak/G missiles. It is also equipped with a twin-railgun turret. Thanks to advanced automation, the M303 can be operated by a driver and a gunner, though it can carry an additional gunner/electronic warfare officer.

ORDINANCE:

Star Streak G/F/S missile system GSM-1/SFM-1/SDM-1
A completely new missile designed to meet the demands of space and ground combat against transatmospheric fighters. The Star Streak missile system is equipped with a naquadah warhead and naquadah-catalyzed fusion thruster. The "G" variant has limited ground-to-orbit capability but is designed for destroying fighters while they are in the atmosphere, and is small enough to be packaged into a semi-person-portable launcher (it is too heavy and awkward for a normal human but soldiers wearing Aegis powered armor can use it with no problem). The "F" variant is used for fighter-to-fighter combat, and the "S" system is designed to be used for short-range point defense on capital ships. Star Streak missile variants are different only in programming and thruster systems.

Sparrowhawk MRNM/FLNM
A multi-purpose nuclear missile equipped with a naquadriah-enhanced nuclear warhead. The MRNM version designed for ship-to-ship combat is equipped with a more powerful fusion engine than the smaller FLNM fighter-launched version. The Sparrowhawk is less powerful than the Hades missile but can be fired from existing launchers or fighters. It is estimated that a handful could destroy a Ha'tak vessel, provided they all detonate.

Hades LRNASM
Launched from the missile tubes of capital ships, stations, and, when fitted with a booster, ground-based launch stations. The Hades missiles are designed for long-range nuclear strikes, usually on ships. A Mark X warhead, which is actually slightly less powerful than a Mark IX, provides the nuclear capability. The long-range capability is provided by a powerful and advanced sublight engine as well as a miniature naquadriah based hyperdrive. Usually naquadriah is too unstable, but a sacrificial power buffer stabilizes it enough for (relatively) short hops on a disposable asset. The Hades missile sometimes drops out behind a ship's shields or even inside the ship, making it extremely effective. Unfortunately, the missiles are large and heavy and even an Athena-class battlecruiser cannot carry many.

SAMRAAM and SASRAAM
Adapted from air-to-air missiles, the SAMRAAM medium range and SASRAAM short range missiles are a stopgap measure until the Star Streak is fully in production. A new sensor and computer package is fitted, but the warhead and thruster remain the same.

PERSONAL EQUIPMENT:

Aegis Mark 1 personal protective system
Based off both Earth projects and reverse engineered Kull armor, it is a fully powered, all-threat protection system. It significantly increases the strength and speed of the wearer while providing them protection against energy weapons, projectile weapons, and CBRN agents. The Aegis is fully waterproof and airtight and has an advanced thermal regulation system. In addition to filters it has an independant air supply, for space, underwater, and oxygen-poor environments. The mark 1 suffers from some flaws, however. It is incredibly expensive to produce, must be custom-fitted to the wearer, and the shields usually drop after one hit.

Aegis Mark 2
Based off the Aegis Mark 1, the Mark 2 incorporates more Asgard technology than its predecessor. The new shields are capable of taking several hits before failing and a moderately effective inertial dampening system has been integrated. The air supply has been increased to two hours, using air regeneration systems similar to those on capital ships. The improved armor is produced using Asgard matter replication systems. Though not integrated, a holographic projection system can be equipped, allowing active camouflage and deception tactics.

SCAR-L (M116) and SCAR-H (M117) Assault Rifles
The SCAR-L and SCAR-H are gas action assault rifles chambered in 5.56mm and 7.62mm respectively. SGC variant SCARs are equipped with 30 round magazines and smart-linked scopes.. The majority of SG teams are equipped with SCAR-H rifles in the standard configuration (smartlink scope, 16" barrel). SCAR assault rifles are adaptable- they can mount longer or shorter barrels, different sights, and a 40mm grenade launcher. C-mags are available for both the 5.56mm (100 rounds) and 7.62mm (60 rounds) rifles.

M91 Submachine Gun
The M91 is a blowback action submachine gun chambered in 5.7mm. It is equipped with a forty round magazine. Like the SGC-issue SCAR, it comes standard with a smart-linked sight with ammo counter, fire mode/safe display, and 2x magnification. As standard, it has a 10 inch barrel, folding stock, and safe-single-full trigger group. However, the M91 can be configured with a shorter barrel, fixed stock or no stock at all, different trigger groups, and large-capacity C-mag. One option not available is a silencer- a silenced MP5 variant is used for covert missions.

Five-seveN Pistol
Instead of developing a new pistol, the existing Five-seveN was adopted. It fires the same 5.7mm ammunition as the P90 and M91. The AESF variant comes standard with a 20-round magazine, both standard sights on top and smart-linked ones underneath, and a 5-inch barrel. The Five-seveN is made mostly of polymers and uses a delayed blowback system. The barrel is threaded for a detachable silencer, which is almost always carried by ground troops.

M107 Sniper Rifle
The M107 is a .50 BMG semi-automatic sniper rifle. At 57 inches long and weighing in at 30 pounds, it is very heavy and awkward. The Raufoss Mk 211 standard in the AESF is capable of penetrating armor and destroying vehicles, aircraft, and multiple troops. It is one of the few reliable methods of killing a Kull Warrior. The SGC variant is equipped with a telescopic smart-linked sight. Though usually fired from a bipod or rigid mount, it is possible to fire the weapon without either while still retaining some degree of accuracy.

M240 General Purpose Machine Gun
The M240 was chosen as the AESF's standard machine gun. It fires the same 7.62 NATO round as the AR-1, but from a belt feed. The MG-1 is reliable, powerful and accurate. It is used for defensive or supporting fire. Usually used with a bipod or fixed mount, it can be fired from the shoulder or the hip as well.

Star Streak/G Launcher
Designed for destroying aircraft, the Star Streak can also be used against vehicles by simply switching software modes. Vastly superior to the Javelin and Stinger systems it replaces, the Star Streak uses a hybrid fusion thruster and partially crystal-based circuity. For target acquisition, the SS/G is equipped with an 8x scan/render scope capable of targeting beyond visual range and through obstacles. The controller smart-links to the user's armor, allowing quick targeting and firing. The biggest disadvantage of the Star Streak system is the weight. Even with Aegis armor, a soldier can only carry a handful of missiles.

M-699/GEW-1 Energy Projector
The X-698 was a heavy, cumbersome, and unreliable attempt at an energy weapon. It was quickly replaced by the M-699 (re-designated GEW-1), which incorporated Asgard technology, producing a lighter, more reliable weapon. The GEW-1 is capable of taking down a Kull with several shots and doing some damage to human-form replicators.

In addition to AESF-customized and AESF specialized weapons, several standard weapons, sometimes modified, are issued as required. These include the MP5SD silenced SMG, Desert Eagle .50 AE pistol, Javelin missile, M2HB .50 HMG, and numerous others.

Some junk from the Season Two folder. Notes are in italics unless otherwise noted.

LTP.odt

LTP stands for "Long Term Plan". This is where I'd planned on going with SGD at the time. This was before Season 4 was truncated to Victory and then abandoned altogether. As you can see, there were preliminary plans for a far different ending, and though there aren't a lot of details S3 pretty much went down the same way, just with a different ending.

Season 3 "Ontario" Became Metro Toronto.

-crucial Battle of Dakara Yep, but didn't do it justice.
-launch meteors at ships? Nope
-USTF, ETF, FUNRUSACRON, Chinese thing Yep
-basically, they are expeditionary/task forces from individual countries/coalitions
-they will be slaughtered because of fail equipment Again, didn't do a good job
-pursue the holy grail some more, like canon Yep
-rumours of dissent in Ori galaxy as powers diminish somewhat Forced to the last two episodes
-DOWNPLAY ASCENSION

Season 4 "Quebec" Became Ville de Quebec, then Province de Quebec before being dropped.

-Ori ended at end of Season 3, maybe some aftermath
-mainly Goa'uld and Wraith arcs Yes, I wouldn't have just forgotten about them!
-possibly deal with Asurans?
-end it with the Treaty of Midway
-peace treaty between parties

Ending similar to canon in a lot of ways.
-Wraith united under Todd (or Kenny?) and his ZPM Powered Hive-Ship
-potential for massive battle between them and Earth
-committing, among others, dreadnoughts Dreadnought, Bismarck, and Iowa
-instead presented with alternative
-drug eliminating need to feed, peace with Earth
-this happens, somehow

S2.3 Against All Enemies.odt

Plans for the second third of Season Two, much more specific. Unlike Season 3, I had some pretty clear plans on where I wanted to go. It's just that most of them sucked. Several things were moved forward, titles changed, otherwise it pretty much went like this document describes.

-Vala's Former Space Pirate arc
-in Pegasus, strike back against the Wraith
-go after Ori, find home base
-do Ripple Effect if time
-humanized Wraith - Michael?
-end with Beachhead-esque episode

TIMING: beginning around Independence Day

PM7: Binding Ties (TBD)
-laregely Vala's arc
-introduce ops against Wraith and Ori
-Travelers?

PM8: Ashes
-try to kill Prior maybe succeed
-continue previous arcs

PM9: The Line Must Be Drawn Here
-reintroduce Aschen and Tollan
-Asurans? NO
-"It's like a party and everyone's invited"
- "Everyone seems to want to meet us"

PM10: Common Ground
-humanized Wraith arc?
-something with Ori, perhaps
-maybe switch with PM11

PM11: Ripple Effect (TBD)
-go to alternate universe get some stuff
-interestingly, this spawns another version of SGx, like canon up to this point but different future

PM12: Against All Enemies
-deal with the Wraith, somewhat like Allies
-destroy Ori beachheads, losing Vala in the process (?)

Anateo the triple dealer
-selling Kassa for profit
-(unwittingly) contaminating with Ori bugs?
-doing something with the Ori anyway
-and of course dealing with Yu's faction, selling information or something
-scum in any case
-lead this into one of the other arcs somehow
-perhaps... a dealing or several with the Aschen
-desperate Aschen buy Kassa instead of food?
-desperate TOLLAN buy Kassa instead of food?
-kinda like Afghanistan, where they grow heroin because it's worth more

Operation Kingfish in Pegasus CoD reference FTW

track Lucian arc to Tollana and/or Aschen

Ori building frigates, lead to minibase but decimate attackers (?)

S2.7 Crusade.odt

Third, um, third of Season Two. Again, pretty much went like this, except I didn't work out the details of Oshu's arc until I actually started writing it. I'd say better planning made Season 2 better, but Season 3 had reasonably clear plans as well. It's just that they got shot full of holes.

MW/SG-1

-SG1 is going after the Sangraal, possibly Vegonbrei and definitely Camelot
-diplomatic mission to Yu's empire at least

PEG/ATL

-diplomacy
-dealing with Ba'al the Wraith (?)
-Asurans

Yu's domain - P8K-939

2x13 State of the Empire

-continued diplomacy with Oshu
-raid on Trust reveals some of Merlin's shit

2x14

-doing some shit for Oshu?

2x15 Sins of the Father
-first contact with Asurans

2x16 Solidarity Among Allies/ Second Contact
-Aschen?
-more Aschen, more Asurans
-Aschen treaty
-Camelot?
-rebel warning, begin last week of 2005 countdown

Genii, wants a team member?
Sora becomes 4th Atl, but Sheppard isn't going to like this
but we need allies

2x17 Shake Hands With The Devil
-Camelot?
-Ba'al offers help, no seriously!

2x18 Stand Together, Stand Strong

-Camelot ending
-supergate dialling, "Pegasus Corridor" fails
-end about to engage Ori, Stand Together Stand Strong
-New Years Day

As you can see, I never finished planning Oshu's arc before writing.

Oshu's arc:

-send SG-1 to help capture Prior
-Priors are

Season Two.odt

This is an early set of plans for Season Two, written before Season One was finished if I remember correctly. Doubls slashes indicate notes I added later, probably midway through the writing process of Season Two.

-drop episodic format
-keep Sam as leader of SG-1, keep O'Neill as SGC commander
-bring in the Ori, possibly in a different way

Marathon
-kill a prior using a shitton of ordinance
-that world where they try to execute Vala
//will probably be added partially

300
-Spartanesque people refuse to stop believing in false gods
-melee combat and hoplite charge
//no, just no

Kidnapped
-Earth elements kidnap Cassie
-possibly just for money?
//evolved into NCIS xover concept

BRAAAAAAAAINS!
-the episode with the human eating bugs, but with zombies
-Hammerdown
//fun, but no

1. Anniversary (title tentative)
-possible multipart, possibly as many differently named chapters
//became 1-6

x. Ripple Effect
-welcome to the SG-1 Prime reality, bitches
-hey, canon assholes, we have fucking powered armour
//will stay in

Any last-minute requests? Finishing up YK3 (3x14 An End, Once and For All) and will begin YK5 (3x15 In Memoriam) soon. Obviously, I can't work in anything big, but if you want to see a character shown, a pairing hinted at or a new piece of tech, speak now or forever hold your piece. I mean peace. I think.

Unknown_Fan said:
Can we please see glimpses of the battle between the Allied and Ori fleets over Celestis? A rematch of the Battle of the Supergates in a sense? If you could do it from a non-ASEF POV it may be even better.
Maybe, but I've already pretty much finalized YK3. I'll see what I can do, but I don't think I can fit another space battle in there. Sorry.
Unknown_Fan said:
Also, what happened to the Abydos spacestation? It was mentioned once at start of season 2 and never spoken of again. Now that Ori are entering the Solar System, what would it be doing?
I forgot about it. I can at least mention it, for sure.

Oh, and before anyone gets worried, this is not going to be a final ending. Plenty of sequel hooks for me or another author to latch onto.

EDIT: The final episode (not counting the epilogue) is out. http://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/sgd-season-3-release.236773/#post-10667854

I'm posting this here because I know a lot of my fans (humour me) subscribe to this thread.

I'm taking down the majority of videos on my channel, including all SGD and other trailers. My reasons are twofold. The first is to avoid any potential copyright issues. The second, and primary reason, is to clean up, refocus, and retarget my channel. The bottom line is that if you want to archive these videos, now is your chance. There's not much I can do to stop you from reposting them if you so choose, but be aware that you may run into more copyright issues and potential community backlash.

The flipside is that I have brand new, slightly different content on its way. You have until Tuesday, or next Monday, depending on how lazy I am.
