Sauron has won. King Aragorn and his army lie dead in front of the Black Gates, and the Dark...
The Beginning.
Sauron has won. King Aragorn and his army lie dead in front of the Black Gates, and the Dark Lord has reclaimed the ring. In the deepening shadows of Mordor, he musters his armies for a final push against the Free Peoples.

You are:

[] One of the strong and hardy dwarfs from the Blue Mountains.

[] A proud man of Gondor, in whom the blood of Numenor wanes.

[] A horse lord of Rohan.

[] A man of Dale.

[] One of the last of the Dunedain, the blood of Numenor still flowing strong within him.

As you and your people flee you end up in....

[] A land of long winters and summers. There exists no fall or spring here, and something stirs in the north.

[] In a land dominated by men. Those of the line of Durin hide in their mountain halls fighting a relentless foe, and the elves are enslaved to men.

[] A land embroiled in war. A continent in constant conflict, as six kingdoms vie for power.

=====

Need to reserve some posts.

And yes, this is a reboot of my previous quest of the same name. I lost my muse, my notes, and my will to write for that quest. So time for a reboot.

The Kings of Men in Westros. What could be a more interesting contrast.

Still liked the setting of the last one and want to continue it.

Besides if we do ASOIAF at least do it before the kingdoms became united since after that is boring since it's done so much.

I don't like either of the bandwagons that are going right now.

These also sound more interesting to me.

Can I convince people to at least choose the setting of before the Seven Kingdoms with the Six Kingdoms fighting each other?

It's way more interesting than the current Seven Kingdoms.

We can make our own Kingdom if we came during the time of the Six Kingdoms which would way more fun and we can world build a bit.

Are you sure the third option is also Westeros? Cause from what I can see option 1 is Westeros, option 2 is Dragon Age and 3 is... I dont realy know but I doubt its also Westeros. Westeros pre-Targaryens had 7 kingdoms, its in the name: Stormlands, North, Dorne, Reach, Vale, Westerlands and the Iron Islands + Riverlands under occupation of whoever controlled them at the time.

The thing is I have absolutely no emotional investment in the Years of Blood and since I do not care about the characters I would not be very interested in the quest.

Plus it's likely not Westros either.
