[X] Accidentally unload about your romantic woes
[X] Have an awkward talk about religion and Anathema

These are perfect.

Hey, Parting Sigh! The anti-christ is a young woman with romantic issues and a vague understanding of why she's Infinitely Evil! This is your problem because she's your dorm mate, have fun lady who's ostensibly a centennial.
Nah Parting Sigh's like, in her 20s. Solidly "starting Dragon-Blooded PC" range.

(Yes, I would absolutely play the shit out of a Grass Spider assassin if I ever got the chance)

[X] Coax her into talking a little about the Grass Spiders and her life

hmm well now that its turned into an insufferable roommate situation, which is absolutely wonderful, i think it'd be nice to balance out the funny shit (ie romantic mishaps) with learning a bit more about Parting SIgh & her story

Let's not be that person who just unloads all their drama on the first person who can't easily flee - assuming we want anything loosely approximating a positive relationship. People tend to feel more positively about people who give them an excuse to talk about themselves. I'm going to take a wild guess and say Parting Sigh is proud of her kills, and happy to talk up how justified they were. Who doesn't like an opportunity for bragging and gossip?

[X] Gossip about Wandering Heart
[X] Talk about her earlier targets, and how she's very sure they had it coming

I'm really impressed. Four quests - three at once - and they're all phenomenal. Great characters, beautiful prose, excellent pacing, and the 'pick your poison' choices are amazing for the tension and drama. Cheers from Halifax. Keep up the excellent work.

I kinda want our heroine to regard parting sighs as slightly less evil and more heroic than she does now.

This bit seems to have gotten left out from the actual vote options, which is a shame, because I think it's probably the most interesting choice - how sure is she that her group of amoral financially motivated assassins have actually been killing people who deserve it?

both of these sound quite fun! also, for the record, in my heart i deeply wish for the first option to include jasmine somehow.

Let's go Assassin Roommate adventures! I'm very stoked about this development.

Thank you, I'm glad you've enjoyed reading!

Running three quests at once is absolutely not recommended, though.

Aster is just a mess. A real mess. How is she going to get out of this situation? Oh well, if tomorrow is a yawning void at least we can do girl-talk tonight.

I want the romantic woes venting but not as much as I want them to discuss what they find so offensive about each other

And here we see one of the important sources of Fun in a good Exalted game: Exalts are valuable! You shouldn't throw them away just because they're annoying, or evil, or killed someone you like.

It's always a source of drama, but what are you going to do? Just kill a bunch of Exalts and then try to use mortals for everything?

That's even more entertaining, thank you for this information. Also, switched my vote on religion to be about dead people, because Aster's gradual realization that maybe legal things can be bad is growing on me.
