To be fair, I think I mentioned earlier that it took me a couple of sentences to work that out.
Why not borrow words from, say, Javanese and pretend that's Lemurian?

The few words we do know about Lemurian suggest that it's closer to the Malayo-Polynesian language family, possibly Malagasy (descended from Old Malay and Old Java), which is what Madagascar natives from our Earth speak.
(Ironically, on our Earth, Madagascar was colonized by humans from Southeast Asia, not the other way around.)

If that's the case, either should work. But Malagasy does have the bonus cred of being the native language of Madagascar.

Then it does have some merit if that's the case then, with the Lemurian language being at the very least based upon Malagasy.
