Retired Magical Girl Quest (Trigger Warning Violence) Reboot.

[X][chair] Your chair is an exercise ball in a frame with a sort of handle/armrest to hang on to.

[X] Plan Some Progress
-[X][Activity]Work.
-[X][Activity]Personalize your apartment.
-[X][Activity]Physical Therapy.

Note that the description of Cook for yourself implies that improving our home will probably reduce energy expenses, making it something to do early.

[X] Plan Staying Afloat
-[X][Activity]Work.
-[X][Activity]Shop online.
-[X][Activity]Personalize your apartment.
-[X][Activity]Meditate.

While I don't want to skip out on Physical Therapy I really want to get things that make our protags work/therapy easier out of the way quickly. I'm also hoping that getting back some magic also helps our protags quality of life, though that depends on how applicable magical-girl magic is to everyday life (You don't mind answering that Author?)

Magic can help your life and help you cope with... Everything. It can improve your life. It makes Sora more physical. There are all sorts of little things you can do with magic.

The biggest thing it can do is If you can get your ribbons back, well... They're pretty much cheese for every day tasks. It's like having dozens of tentacles with full grip strength.

But it can also make things worse. The more magic you have, the more you're involved in magic, and the more magic things will happen around you.

Also, you forgot to choose a chair XD.

So use magic to assist with the rehabilitation process until our protag doesn't need to rely on it for her day to day life and we should be safe? Neat.

[X][degree]You got your degree in mathematics/statistics. A solid degree with the potential to be a high earner
[X][job](if math)You work in an investment firm, watching spreadsheets. (if art)You work for an ad firm, churning out treatments for higher ranked executives. A job further from magic you can't imagine

It's cold and quiet in your apartment. The walls and floor are bare. Like many modern apartments, the place is made of cement. You need to personalize this space. But how?

(Choose as many of the following as you like, but understand that they all have costs in energy and money so try not to do too many at once.)
[][Personalize]Paint the walls and floor.
You're an artist. You could buy some paint, and some brushes and just... go wild. Spill your heart on the walls, the floor. Across the refrigerator, over the front of the stove, into the sink and across the counters.
[][Personalize]Buy a dinner table and more chairs
Right now you've only got the one chair, a ball in a frame, and your computer desk. You could buy a dinner table and some chairs, so that you can serve meals to guests when they come to visit.
[][Personalize]Buy a western style bed
Right now you're sleeping on a futon on the floor. You could buy a western raised bed... you've heard that they're better for people with difficulty raising from a prone to standing position.
[][Personalize]Rugs and mats
You could go out and buy some rugs and anti-fatigue mats so you have something soft to stand on.
[][Personalize]Print Photos
One thing that might be nice to do is go through your computer from old photos. You'd have to be very careful to select photos that don't remind you of... events... but you could have them printed from a print shop, frame them, and attach them to your wall for a more homely feel
[][Personalize]Posters
Or you could just paste some posters to the wall.
[][Personalize]Build raised flooring
Right now the floor of your apartment is the same height as the entryway. Building a raised could bring you some needed warmth, allowing you to insulate yourself from the cement. Raised floors can also cleverly hide cubies, storage spaces, and heating elements. On the other hand, accessing these hidden elements can be difficult with the flexibility issues your scars cause. They're also not cheap
[][Personalize]Cage for Sora
Sora used to live in a pretty bird cage. You could buy one and set it up in the corner for Sora to live in once more. Of course, people will ask questions why you want a cage for an invisible pet
[][Personalize]Playpen for Amaratsu
Amaratsu is a very messy dog. She sheds a lot, and you think you might be mildly allergic. She also gets bored easily. You care about her a lot, but cleaning up after her is exhausting. You could put together a pen for her, a smaller part of the apartment that's hers. Make it split level, spread some toys in it, put some doggy exercise equipment in. Might be nice!
[][Personalize]Write in

(This is a big vote, so I'm going to let you guys make this vote then proceed with the rest of the update. It's already written, but... As I said, this is a lot of stuff to vote on >.<)

Rugs & mats for sure as for others the playpen seems like it may save some energy rolls but... don't know yet, a new bed would definitely help her get up in the morning, raised flooring seems more for comfort than practicality and is most definitely energy-intensive going to pass on that, Painting the walls seems like it will heal our Protag mentally but will leave a big mess that she will have to clean up so... it might be to energy-intensive, maybe some physical therapy equipment? not sure how that would work in this quest so imma hold off on that and the rest of them are for personal comfort that would probably raise her mood though also not sure how mood affects the quest.

Just some quick guess on what mood and physical therapy equipment do for the protag.
Mood adds or detracts points based on protag's mood good mood = more energy, bad mood = less energy.
Physical therapy equipment probably trains our protag's pain tolerance which gives her an energy discount on physical actions.

Gonna go with this for now and edit it when something better shows up.

[X] Plan: Play Therapy
-[X][Personalize]Paint the walls and floor.
-[X][Personalize]Buy a western style bed

Reading the description, the big energy savers are:

That big of extra pain in the morning.

[][Personalize]Rugs and mats

The pain of standing anywhere when your feet are damaged and the floor is cold.
Note that this will INCREASE energy expenditure in doggy cleanup. Picking dog hair out of rugs is hell, it won't come out if you just sweep.
[][Personalize]Build raised flooring

This helps with more the floor being cold(which aggravates the ache of injuries), but the rugs and mats covers it so we don't need to care for now.

We're spending a lot of energy cleaning up after best pupper being bored and rampaging around the place. This massively cuts our pet energy expenses.

So Art Therapy has ALMOST everything we need, just need to add the doggy stuff.

It's a good plan though I'm somewhat wary of how much energy it might cost, though I might be conflating the energy price with realism.

Of the options I can only see the painting option costing much energy, if you buy a bed they're going to deliver it to your room, because you can't expect the average person to be capable of moving a bed on their own. Playpen and rugs are harder to say, but its mostly dumping stuff into a specified area.

As I said realism might be conflating the cost for me, I'm kind of expecting our character to go to the store to but all of this stuff then lug it all the way back to her apartment.

[][Activity]Shop online.
Due to your injuries, normal stoves, cutting boards, bathrooms, and such are tiring and difficult to use. Finding ones that can accommodate for your injuries is expensive, but often worthwhile as it means it takes less energy to get through your day. This usually takes about 1d4 energy units, but is very expensive.
Online shopping ftw
