So painting and Sculpting go hand in hand and will allow us some marketable skills. We should be able to sell them for some money and they compliment each other. We could also apply some Cultivator bullshit and hopefully branch out into living paintings/Statues.
With regards to blood, chicken is the most easily available of the options and no one is going to batt an eye if we purchase AND slaughter them in bulk. Drinking Chicken blood is also a LOT more socially acceptable then the other options and a LOT less expensive.
Then there is the Phoenix connection where usually associated with them in the "Phoenix tail/Chicken head" sort of way.
