(REBOOT) Master of Legions, Summoner's Servant.

They look great and I do like that not every angel looks human, and most of the nonangel units look good expect the fact that it looks like someone photoshop a sword on to the paladin picture.
...I just noticed that.

Edit: The Paladin Unit has received a major appearance update, please refer to the Unit Looks (Non-Angel) Threadmark.

All of them look Epic, and worthy allies of the Light.

I love how the Cherubim is accurate via the original description in the Bible; with the wheel and everything. The Seraphim is not very fiery, but also awesome.

New Motto:
Hope Never Dies.

Especially when that Hope is to stab someone in the face.

Check the spoiler under the Seraphim picture.

The Ohpaphim, on second look, proved also to be awesome eldritch abominations of Light.

But the Seraphim spoiler was merely bright, not fiery. Which is actually awesome (although the human legs of light are curious), but still not Fire like I was expecting.

  • The biblical depictions of angels are more like traditional Eldritch Abominations than the fluffy cloud angels we see nowadays on Christmas decorations. The cherubim (Yes, those cuties we all know today) have four faces - a lion on the right, an ox on the left, a human forward, and an eagle backward. They have four wings, with HANDS under the wings, their legs described as simply "straight", and they have hooves. Also, the eyes. Everywhere. Even in the spaces between the eyes. Furthermore, the exact meaning of "Cherubim" has been lost to time but upon observing a group of abnormal "Chayyot", "living creatures", Ezekiel is surprised by the revelation of them being Cherubim. This means, in the eyes of the Hebrews, their most outstanding characteristic amongst the other orders of angels was that they are alive. Not so cute anymore, is it?
  • Contrast the Seraphim, basically cherubim with extra wings that are on fire, whose name means "Fiery Ones", and the Ophanim that take this to the extreme, being wheels intersecting themselves while turning, also flying with six wings, somehow attached while they're turning, whose name means "Wheels". Remember, neither of these were understood to be alive by the Hebrews. Add to all this that God's guard for the Garden of Eden was a cherub armed with a flaming sword that turned in all directions (though in some translations, the flaming sword merely whirls around).
  • Some interpretations of Seraphim hold that their divine fire radiates a light so ineffably potent that it will SEAR FROM EXISTENCE anything that approaches too close, including, presumably, lesser angels. That's still nothing compared to God Himself, for whom the Seraphim are the mundane equivalent of matches, basically shining as tokens of His glory.
  • Seraphim are also described as dragon/serpent like (which led some experts to believe that they are loosely based on the goddess Wadjet from Egyptian Mythology, which is also a fiery snake). They consistently have six wings, and one of them is used to cover their feet. In spite of the fact that they are snake-like. Try figuring that one out. Note: "feet" is often used in biblical Hebrew as a euphemismfor the genitals.

Ok I do think we need a healer unit like a Lord Dominion or Cherubim since at least 3 characters are at risk of being killed off soon.

It should be an angel of sorts if we want to look dramatic; a human if we want to go relatable.

Lord Dominion is the most Heavenly and Dramatic Angel, although the Cherubim, Ophamin, and Seraphim are the most Alien. (We might not want to go with those, considering the setting's villains).

As for non-angels... I'd avoid the Paladin and Crusader. They are very War-like, and if we are aiming for that, we should go with the Lord Dominion.

The Priestess is the most innocent-looking, the Priest the most wise. I'd advise going for one of those- their faces aren't covered by armor, so they actually look human.

So! Lord Dominion or Priest(ess). Which should it be?

Both are healers, but Lord Dominion is an Elite that heals via aura. It can ressurect the dead, and it would be awesome to summon if people were dying. And to maintain versatility in case of combat, we should focus on the far cheaper Priest(ess).

So, I vote for a Priest or Priestess.

Priest/Priestess (5 LP/4 LL): Healer Unit.

Seems that they are one unit, and that the only difference is cosmetic. I vote for a Priestess in particular, since she looks more relatable to our summoner.

[X] A Priestess

In that case since we our in Team RWBY room I will change my vote to a single summon
[X] a Priestess

I pefer to have a healer ready before we need one so we can respond quickly.

For some reason I thought we were in a larger room, so with that in mind

[X] a Priestess
again, we can summon instantly that is already pretty damn quickly. if summon before hand to stick with RWBY she can then be ganked. gank the healer!
