Nekra remains a puzzle. Her personality is an intricate mix of fragmented memories from a life she cannot fully recall, and the newfound instincts that pull her in unpleasant directions. The whispers of bloodlust and darkness lurk in the corners of her psyche... Luckily she has Yuki, else she might've already gone insane. Then again, would a sane person have a dragon for a daughter? Befriend a tyrannical demigoddess and have little care for human life in general?

Chapter 1: Darkness
In the depths of eternal darkness, the protagonist found themselves trapped. "How long has it been dark?" they mumbled to no one in particular.

Desperation gripped them, urging them to remember something, anything. Gradually, fragmented memories started to piece together.

"All I can recall is something about an emperor, battle tactics, and a gladius," they thought. "But what's a gladius, anyway?"

Suddenly, a blinding light engulfed their senses, leaving them momentarily disoriented.

"I was observing her, alright?" admitted a red-haired girl. "She seemed like a perfect candidate, but I didn't want to take her life. So, I waited. Then, one day, she was struck by a drunk driver. She suffered severe brain damage and passed away before I could restore her."

A woman with black-blonde hair and a monkey tail chimed in, "I was worried you'd killed her just to reincarnate her."

"I'd never do that," the red-haired girl exclaimed.

"Hi?" the protagonist cautiously interjected.

The room, filled with women of significant physical power, turned their gaze to the source of the voice before focusing their attention on the red-haired girl.

"They seem...strong," the protagonist observed.

"I didn't do it," the red-haired girl repeated.

"How long have you been in the void?" inquired the woman with the monkey tail.

"The void? The dark place? I've lost track of time," the protagonist confessed terror of the endless dark clear in their wavering voice.

"It's your call, Kyra," the red-headed girl said.

"The standard cycle of reincarnation?" Kyra questioned.

"Their soul has been in the void for far too long," a black-haired woman remarked.

"Shirone, can you grant additional wishes?" Kyra asked, turning to the girl with silver hair and wolf ears.

"I can't for a while. Rath depleted a considerable portion of my power. And I have unresolved issues with him," Shirone replied, her gaze directed at the red-haired girl. Especially since his branch of the multiverse seems to have up an died.

"Lisa, do you want to step in, or are two wishes enough?" Kyra inquired, addressing the tall, black-haired woman among them.

"I'm fine with two wishes," the protagonist replied, a touch of panic evident as they realized they were surrounded by gods.

"So, what do you wish for?" Kyra asked, waiting for their request.

"I wish for knowledge of the world you'll send me to, as well as any worlds I might visit," the protagonist answered.

Kyra nodded, and the protagonist felt a sudden headache as information flooded their mind. They had knowledge of magic, witchcraft, dungeons, science, music, and even anime. The overwhelming influx of information left them with a throbbing headache.

"What can I offer you?" Sandstorm asked.

"You can decide," the protagonist replied.

With an eerie smile, Sandstorm declared, "Dungeon master it is!"

And just like that, everything plunged into darkness once more.

"With all this knowledge, I could become a sage," the protagonist mused.

(Skill: Sage acquired.)

"A skill, huh? I didn't ask for a system, but I'm heading to another world."

(Skill: Oracle acquired.)

"I wonder if any of my previous life's skills will be of use."

(Skill: Short Sword Mastery.)

(Skill: Shield Mastery.)

"The system is nice, but I may not need it," the protagonist thought as their vision turned white once again.

Chapter 2: Not Just A Cat
"Uhh, where am I?" our main character uttered while standing on four legs.

"What am I?" they questioned.

(Sage: Answer, Vampire Cat.)

Suddenly, a letter descended from the sky. With her claws, our protagonist carefully opened it and began to read.

"Hello, we kind of forgot that all monsters in this world are born without a name. Since I didn't grant you a wish, I shall give you a name. So, I hereby name you Nekra.

From,

Lisa, the Goddess of Destiny."

Abruptly, Nekra felt herself enveloped by energy, and her vision faded into darkness as she sensed nothing.
====================================================
In a small cave within the Brunund Kingdom, Nekra, now resembling a small cat-girl, blinked her blood-red eyes open and examined her newly restored human hands.

"Yes! My hands are back, nya!" she exclaimed with joy before covering her mouth wondering what just happened.

Looking around there was no source of light, "I can see nya?"
(Sage: Answer, Skill: Night Vision.)

"What kind of creature am I?"

(Sage: Answer, Werecat Vampire Princess.)

"Seems a bit unusual, nya," Nekra remarked, puzzled by the peculiar combination of her dual heritage.

Scanning her surroundings, Nekra noticed a solitary orb.

"Is that the dungeon core? All I need to do is give it a name, right?" Nekra asked herself, making an effort to suppress the "nya" in her speech.

Nekra reached out to touch the orb, and a white fox materialized before her. The fox observed her curiously, attempting to pull her away from the orb in a state of panic, though it was too late.

"A white fox, huh... Shiro is a bit plain. Let's call you Yuki."

"Let's work together from nyow on, Yuki," Nekra declared with a warm smile as she addressed the fox.

'I have a feeling the "nya" will be a recurring theme,' Yuki thought with a resigned sigh.

Suddenly, Nekra's vision dimmed, but she remained conscious this time.

'Not the darkness again!' Nekra thought, her panic resurfacing.

(Sage: Warning, magicules low.)

'What?'

...

'Hello?'

'Please, don't leave me alone... not again.'

Memories of her traumatic experience in the void came rushing back, leaving Nekra shaken.

One day later, Nekra felt her head resting on something soft. She reached up and gently squeezed it.

"You're finally awake, my master," a woman's voice greeted her.

Nekra opened her eyes and was greeted by the sight of a woman with blonde hair, white fox ears, and a white fox tail.

"Yuki?" Nekra asked, realizing she was receiving a lap pillow from her new companion.

"Good morning, my dear master," Yuki responded, flashing a heartwarming smile.

Overwhelmed by her emotions, Nekra tightly hugged Yuki and began to cry. "The darkness, it returned. I was so terrified... hic I'm so grateful to be alive, nya."

Nekra suddenly detected a tantalizing scent in the air and, stopping her tears, she began to search for the source sniffing the air and scanning the surroundings.

"Master?" Yuki inquired, her concern growing.

"Nya? My apologies, Yuki. I thought I smelled something delicious," Nekra admitted, her eyes lingering on Yuki's neck.

"Master is a vampire, isn't she?" Yuki asked.

Nekra nodded in agreement.

"Master, you must be hungry," Yuki suggested, tilting her head to the side, fully exposing her neck.

"Yuki, are you certain? It's safer for me to feed on small animals," Nekra said, though her gaze remained fixed on Yuki's neck.

"Master, it's perfectly fine," Yuki assured her.

"Thank you, Yuki!" Nekra exclaimed, extending her fangs and sinking them into Yuki's neck. The process caused Yuki to flinch slightly as the fangs pierced her skin.

"Mmn, mmm," Nekra made sipping noises as she fed for about a minute.

"Thank you, Yuki!" Nekra said with a radiant smile, gently licking the bite mark to clean it.

"..."

"Yuki?" Nekra asked, her concern growing as she noticed Yuki's pallor.

"Did I drink too much?" Nekra inquired. Yuki nodded faintly before leaning against Nekra.

Nekra contemplated whether to offer Yuki a lap pillow or let her rest against the wall.

"When she awakens, I'll need her to find us some clothes," Nekra murmured to herself, her cheeks flushing as she realized the intimate nature of their recent encounter.

===============================

yawn

"Hmm?" Yuki stirred, realizing she was resting against Nekra.

"Master's sleeping face is so adorable," Yuki remarked, admiring Nekra's tranquil expression.

"Hmm, I believe Master mentioned something about clothes before I dozed off... Let's acquire a white dress for her," Yuki decided, an air of excitement about her as she expended a portion of their dungeon points on a lovely dress for Nekra and a stylish outfit for herself.

"Hmm, acquiring things for master," Yuki sang in a playful tone as she made substantial purchases.

Chapter 3: What are Dungeon Points
"Nya? As a vampire, I shouldn't need to sleep," Nekra said to herself, baffled by her recent slumber. Perhaps it was being near Yuki that brought her some peace.

"We should make this cave cozier," Nekra suggested to herself getting up and beginning to stretch.

"Master, we are inside the dungeon core control room. The cave is outside," Yuki explained.

"Yuki, please call me Nekra. And we are inside the core? How can we modify the dungeon, nya?" Nekra inquired.

Yuki pointed toward something that closely resembled a computer.

"Oh, that's a bit simpler," Nekra realized, feeling the fabric on her body before looking down.

"Yuki nya, did you purchase clothes for us? I love the dress, thank you," Nekra said with a joyful smile, giving a small twirl.

Yuki watched her partner with silver hair, crimson eyes, and black cat ears and tail spin around, and Yuki couldn't help but be captivated by the sight.

"So, this should work somewhat like a video game... what's a video game?" Nekra questioned as she examined the computer interface before being hit by a sudden headache that granted her knowledge.

"Ah, master, there's also a store," Yuki pointed out.

"The store? And please call me Nekra, Yuki. We're already bonded as partners," Nekra insisted.

"P-partners?" Yuki asked, her cheeks turning pink.

"Yes, indeed, Yuki, nya. Now, what's the store?" Nekra inquired.

"The store has anything you're aware of available for purchase," Yuki explained.

"Nya? So, it has everything?" Nekra wondered.

"What?" Yuki asked.

"If I am able to know an-nyathing and everything. Then it should have everything nya." Nekra clarfies

"That is amazing Master~" Yuki cheers

"Nekra Yuki, Nekra… Ah, how do we buy things?" Nekra replies.

"With dungeon points," Yuki answers her fluffy fox ears twitching.

"How do we earn dungeon points?" Nekra inquired.

"There are a few ways. First, we can naturally gather magicules from the earth. We can also gain magicules released by adventurers in the dungeon. Even more when we defeat them, and If we kill them inside the dungeon, we receive a substantial amount of DP," Yuki explained.

"Nyo killing... If we kill, they might send more powerful individuals, or even an army, to eliminate us," Nekra said, beginning to dread her own race.

"Right... we aren't strong enough for that," Yuki agreed.

'Good, I don't want to face off against an entire army just yet.'

...

"Why do we only have 100 DP?" Nekra inquired as she looked at the monitor.

"Ah, I purchased Nekra's clothes!" Yuki proudly declared.

Nekra promptly checked their previous purchases.

(Clothes: Armored Invincible Self-Cleaning White Dress, 100,000 DP)

(Book: How to Cook Food for Vampires, 200 DP)

(Book: How to Tame a Vampire, 400 DP)

(Apartment-Style Core Upgrade, 14,000 DP)

(Clothes: Rugged Female Adventurer's Wear, 4,000 DP)

"Yuki, did you spend all our DP on clothes?" Nekra questioned, bypassing the books, but unable to resist noting that Yuki might be a tad overzealous.

Yuki tilted her head in contemplation for a moment before shaking it to indicate "no."

"What's the apartment-style upgrade? It still looks like a cave," Nekra pointed out.

"We need to activate it," Yuki said.

Suddenly, the 100 DP increased to 110 DP.

"Nya?" Nekra exclaimed as she quickly examined their surroundings.

"We earn DP from wild monsters?!" Nekra was astonished to see goblins within the dungeon.

"It appears so," Yuki confirmed.

"That's fantastic... Let's just conceal the core with an illusion on the cave's roof," Nekra suggested, expending the remaining 100 DP to place the core under an invisibility cloak that would last for 20 years.

"Now what?" Yuki asked.

"Uh, we wait... perhaps use the DP to acquire some blood. Does Yuki need to eat, nya?" Nekra asked.

Yuki shook her head in response. "DP is not required for blood, Ma-Nekra has me!" Yuki shouts.

"So, what do we do while we wait?" Nekra wondered aloud deciding to ignore Yuki's outburst.

Suddenly, a flash drive fell from the sky.

"Huh? Are the gods still watching me?" Nekra muttered, looking up before retrieving the flash drive and plugging it into the dungeon computer.

"Wait? That's what that port is for?" Yuki wondered as she knew very little about computers.

'It should be. Though since my knowledge wish was worded the way it was I gained bits knowledge from every world. Then need to focus it on a subject to get more indepth stuff.' Nekra thought to herself.

The difference between knowledge, how to apply it, and wisdom was not lost on the cat girl. She doesn't really remember much from her last life.

Upon opening the files on the dungeon computer, Nekra found two folders.

Anime

Games

"Oh? We can spend plenty of time like this!" Nekra said happily, knowing what both of those were.

"What are Anime and Games?" Yuki inquired, observing the screen.

"I will show you games first. Let's see what we have," Nekra proposed, opening the folder and discovering only one game.

(Roller Coaster Tycoon 2)

"Oh... that's it?" Nekra said with a tinge of disappointment but quickly corrected herself, realizing she shouldn't complain. The Gods work in mysterious ways.

"What's that?" Yuki asked.

"Let's give it a try. I've never played it, but if it was given to me, it must be good," Nekra decided, starting the game.
=======================================
Meanwhile, at an overworked headmaster's desk.

"Of course it's good!" Kyra suddenly exclaimed from her chair, startling Ruby, who had been attempting to sneak up on her.

Chapter 4: Echoes of Tomorrow
Nekra and Yuki were peacefully lounging in their cozy apartment preset core. The apartment-like setting was a sanctuary of comfort that they had meticulously created. The walls of the cave had been softened with delicate, ethereal paintings depicting serene landscapes and images from the anime they had watched together.

"Yuki," Nekra said, enjoying the feeling of her partner's affectionate pets, "how long is our lifespan?"

(Sage: Until the dungeon core is destroyed)

Yuki, her fingers gently caressing Nekra's soft cat ears, replied, "Sage says we'll exist until the dungeon core gets destroyed."

Nekra blinked, her purring pausing for a moment as she considered this. "Ah? I didn't know that either. So, you can hear Sage too, nya?" Nekra wondered if it was because of their special bond that Yuki could access the same skills she did.

Yuki nodded and snuggled closer to Nekra, continuing to pet her. Nekra's gentle purring resumed as they enjoyed each other's company while watching anime from the comfort of their new red couch.

Time passed, and the two of them found solace in their close bond, sharing moments of laughter and companionship. It was clear that their connection was deepening with each passing day. They could without a doubt spend eternity with each other
======================================
Meanwhile, beyond the confines of their cozy underground abode, events were unfolding in the human world. The king of the Brunund kingdom, along with the leader of the adventurer's guild, were engrossed in a conversation regarding the recent disturbances originating from the Great Jura Forest.

"Why are so many monsters coming out of the Great Jura Forest?" the king inquired, his brow furrowed with concern.

The guild master, a seasoned and knowledgeable figure, responded, "Storm Dragon Veldora was sealed last week. His aura is scaring most of the stronger creatures, which in turn is causing the smaller ones to flee the forest. It should calm down in the future."

The king nodded, somewhat reassured by the explanation. But then, he probed further, "What about the Goblin King and his horde that fled the forest? They just disappeared."

The guild master's expression became more serious. "They started digging in. We found them in a cave system and are preparing a group of adventurers to deal with them there."

The king considered this information carefully, his mind filled with thoughts of potential challenges. He knew that, if left unchecked, the goblins and their king could become a significant threat to the kingdom. The last thing he wanted was to draft an army to confront them, as such an action could have dire consequences. Especially with the unrest that Storm Dragon Veledora had kicked up before he was defeated and sealed.

Outside, in the rapidly darkening forest near the dungeon/cave that Nekra and Yuki now called home, the goblins had indeed found a new dwelling. The Goblin King, driven by the instinct to survive and protect his subjects, had taken them deep underground. A massive monster had made its home in the center of the forest, and there was a massive struggle for territory going on.

===============================
Back in their apartment-like setting, Nekra and Yuki enjoyed their peaceful existence. It was a haven of comfort, a sanctuary they had built together with meticulous care. They were safe as long as the core was hidden. Although, the dungeon would need to be expanded in the future.

Nekra, who had initially been nervous about her new world, was now feeling more at ease, all thanks to her partnership with Yuki. The bond they shared, a deep connection, had helped fill the void left by her memories of the dark and lonely past… Void.

As the room basked in the gentle, enchanting glow of the ambient light, Nekra felt a sudden rush of hunger. She turned her gaze towards Yuki, who was lying beside her, her presence a source of solace, warmth, delicious, sweet… Mine.

"Nya... Yuki?" Nekra mumbled softly, a question and a plea rolled into one.

"You don't have to ask permission, Nekra," Yuki whispered, her tired voice carrying the weight of the deep affection she held for her Master.

Nekra, responding to affirmation, expressed her feelings in a way that was unique to her nature. With a gentle rub of her head against Yuki's, followed by a low purr. She showed her affection before she made a decision. Nekra, driven by her instincts, sank her fangs into the fox girl's neck.

Chapter 5: Battle for the Dungeon
In the dungeon core control room that doubled as their cozy apartment, Nekra, and Yuki were jolted awake by a blaring alarm.

"Yuki, nya? Please turn off the alarm, nya," Nekra mumbled, trying to squeeze in a few more minutes of sleep.

"Master, the dungeon is being invaded," Yuki's voice was filled with urgency as she rose from her resting place.

"Nya?" Nekra yawned, her eyes heavy with sleep, and her hand rubbing away the drowsiness. She was coming to terms with the fact that peaceful moments in their new world could be short-lived. Sure the goblins were in the dungeon already… However, they were digging and making it bigger, with free labor and free DP.

"Shall we check the computer?" Nekra asked, heading toward the central control console. She wasn't entirely sure about the best course of action yet, but the computer would provide some necessary information.

Yuki nodded in agreement.

Nekra swiftly accessed the video surveillance of their dungeon, where a disconcerting sight met her eyes. Approximately a hundred adventurers were stationed outside, while inside the cave, a staggering two thousand goblins had expanded their presence.

"Nya, this is going to be quite interesting," Nekra remarked, intrigued by the impending confrontation. She pondered whether the adventurers were truly prepared to face such an overwhelming number of goblins.

"When did we get that many Goblins?" Yuki asks in shock

"Nya, they wandered in… They were paying us DP to do labor so I left them be nya." Nekra says her ears twitching slightly.

"You just let them live in the dungeon?" Yuki asks surprised.

"Of course Nya. Our core is hidden and we just look like a natural cave nyow." Nekra says

"Could it be that they're unaware of the goblins' strength and sent a scouting party?" Yuki suggested, trying to make sense of the adventurers' seemingly irrational tactics.

Nekra observed in silence as the initial team of ten spearmen ventured into the cave. Their movements were hesitant, and they lacked coordination, possibly due to the confines of the cave. They may not even be familiar with one another and do not know how to act as a cohesive unit. Within moments, eight of the spearmen had perished, struggling to wield their weapons effectively having hit walls and at a disadvantage due to the battlefield.

The remaining two, both women, were seized by the group of goblins they had encountered. Their fate remained uncertain as they were dragged away, a chilling and gruesome scene.

Outside the cave, the adventurers, who had been lounging around earlier, rushed to the entrance in response to the commotion within. The desperate cries and sounds of combat had alerted them to the situation.

Observing the fight on the surveillance screen, Nekra couldn't help but pass judgment. "They are so unprepared, and their lack of training will be their undoing, nya." She watched in dismay as the adventurers were gradually pushed back into a corner by the relentless goblin horde.

"At least, we're gaining a significant amount of DP," Yuki remarked, trying to find a silver lining in the annoying situation.

"With all this DP, how about we try creating some robots?" Nekra's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm, her excitement evident.

"Like the anime Robots?" Yuki asks

Nekra nods excitedly in response.

Yuki contemplated the idea. "Why robots, though? Can't we simply buy golem magic?"

"Nya? You have a point," Nekra conceded, her initial excitement shifting toward a more pragmatic approach.
"We should also consider fortifying the core's protection," Yuki adds seeing the literal battle taking place in the dungeon.

Nekra nodded in agreement, and they both turned their attention to the task at hand. Suddenly, a massive burst of flames appeared on the surveillance screen, a display of powerful magic that piqued Nekra's curiosity.

"Nya? Perhaps we should seal off the entrance and make it look like a cave-in," Nekra suggested, a strategic move to prevent further goblin invasions. It would also trap air and prevent everyone from escaping.

"Nekra dear, why don't we hire a maid before taking that step?" Yuki pointed at the screen that displayed a mysterious figure. The woman had crimson red eyes, hinting at her vampiric nature.

"I think she's a higher-ranked vampire, though not a noble one," Yuki surmised. "Given your status as a vampire princess, she might instinctively follow your lead."

"If she's of high rank, simple suffocation shouldn't be enough to end her," Nekra considered Yuki's words. She appreciated her companion's concern for the new addition to their team.

"Right," Yuki agreed, and Nekra proceeded to collapse the entrance of the dungeon, cutting off the outside world. Although some of the adventurers heard the noise, they remained committed to their fight.

As the fighting raged on, Nekra noted with grim satisfaction, "It's a war of attrition, nya."

Several hours passed, and the brutal clash between adventurers and goblins continued. The adventurers displayed a lack of training and coordination, making their defeat seem inevitable.

"This is taking forever nya, I want to cuddle with Yuki." Nekra complains

"Even so, we're accumulating a substantial amount of DP," Yuki remarked hugging her master from behind.

Nekra nodded in agreement, her eyes still glued to the screen. At last, a ray of hope appeared. The mage who had used the powerful fire magic began to falter. The once-mighty flames grew smaller, and even their torches dimmed.

"It's almost time," Yuki said, handing Nekra a plate of her favorite food, her way of offering comfort during the tense situation. The secret ingredient was love… and blood, mostly blood.

In the dungeon, as several adventurers suddenly started wheezing, they were easily taken down by the goblins. Distracted and struggling to breathe, they had become easy targets.

At the same time, the mysterious vampire watched the chaos with horror, knowing her cover would be blown if she managed to survive this ordeal. Her crimson eyes burned with intensity as she made a desperate decision.

"What happened? Is it some sort of poisonous gas?" she inquired, choosing to reveal her presence after having concealed her identity by pretending to be mute. Her vampire instincts took over as her claws extended, and she leaped headfirst into the heart of the goblin horde, determined to protect her own existence.

Chapter 6: Envious
"She's going to die," Yuki whispered with a hint of concern in her voice.

A pained expression crossed Nekra's face as she stared at the monitor, "She'll be fine." Nekra lies.

"But she's dying," Yuki reiterated, her voice trembling with worry.

'She really wanted a maid, am I not good enough?' Nekra wonders not at all worried about the dying vampiress.

Nekra shifted her gaze from the screen, where the brave vampiress was locked in a gruesome battle with hordes of goblins, back to Yuki, "So, how do we save her, Nya?" The vampire had multiple cuts and wounds with several spears stuck in her.

A deep frown creased Yuki's forehead as she confessed, "I haven't thought of that. This plan wasn't well thought out. I have no idea what to do."

Relief lingered in Nekra's crimson eyes as she suggested, "Can we pull her into the apartment?"

Yuki shook her head, her white fox ears drooping, "No, only monsters from the dungeon can come in here."

Nekra's ears flattened against her silver hair as she contemplated their situation, "Nya? Does that mean we can't save her?"

Yuki hesitated for a moment before answering, "I don't think so."

Nekra was internally relieved… Yuki was hers. She would never share her fox with another lesser being.

A hint of mischief danced in Nekra's eyes as she tried to cheer up Yuki, "You know, if you really want a maid, I could wear a maid outfit sometimes."

Yuki's gaze drifted into a distant daydream, and a mischievous grin crossed Nekra's lips. Suddenly, blood began to trickle from Yuki's nose, her face flushing a bright red. "Nya? Yuki?"

With a start, Yuki snapped back to reality, her nosebleed causing her to blush deeper, "Huh? Yes, N-nekra?"

"Are you okay? Your nose is bleeding, and your face seems red," Nekra asked, her voice genuinely concerned.

Yuki tried to hide her embarrassment, "Yuki is fine... I'm fine. Would you really wear a maid dress for me?"

Nekra nodded eagerly, hoping to help Yuki with whatever it was she desired. She knew that Yuki's culinary skills were top tier, and she could enjoy more of those delicious homemade dishes.

Meanwhile, the situation in the dungeon unfolded on the screen. Every adventure had fallen to the ground, their lifeless forms sprawled out in the dimly lit cave. A high-ranking vampiress, despite her efforts, had met the same cruel fate, lying impaled by over fifty goblin spears.

Nekra considered their next steps, her tone businesslike, "So, Yuki, do we leave the bodies to be discovered, or should we absorb them for more DP?"

Yuki mulled it over before suggesting, "Let's take about half the goblins' bodies and leave the rest for a rescue or search party to find."

"So what now?" Nekra inquired, her curiosity burning with the promise of new possibilities.

"We should check our DP balance," Yuki replied.

With a quick glance at the DP counter on their dungeon core control interface, Nekra noted, "DP: 200,643."

"That's quite a lot, Nya. Maybe we could buy golem magic, and I can use my knowledge skill to combine robotics with it," Nekra proposed.

Yuki questioned her about the mechanics of her knowledge skill, to which Nekra elaborated, "I get general knowledge of any world I could go to in the future. Then, if I focus on a subject, I gain detailed knowledge on that subject. However, it often gives me a terrible headache."

Yuki raised a concern, "Isn't that broken? Could you potentially go to any world you want?"

Nekra nodded with an excited gleam in her eyes, "Mmhmm."

Yuki continued her inquiry, "Why golems?"

"Nya? Golems seem similar to robots, but they run on magic. I'm thinking that, combined with a magic stone, they can operate outside of the dungeon. So, if I combine robotics with them, I could create the ultimate soldiers."

Yuki, however, sensed there was more to it and probed further, "What's the real reason?"

Nekra couldn't contain her enthusiasm, "I want to make a mecha!"

"A mecha?" Yuki questioned with a hint of surprise.

Nekra nodded with an unbridled sense of wonder, "Let me show you, Nya!" She grabbed the computer mouse, eagerly clicking open the anime folder. "Nya? It's here, yes!" Nekra exclaimed excitedly as the anime "Knights and Magic" began to play.

Yuki settled in to watch, while Nekra eagerly explained the concept, "So, those giant knights are mecha?"

"Mmm-hmm," Nekra affirmed.

Yuki couldn't help but be curious about Nekra's motive, "That could be fun, but what do you need it for?"

With a hint of mischief, Nekra replied, "Because... it's awesome, isn't it, Nya?"

"Yes, yes it is. How much is golem magic anyway?" Yuki inquired.

With a sigh, Nekra checked the shop, "Shop: Golem magic - 50,000 DP."

Yuki remarked, "That's quite a lot."

Nekra shrugged and teased her partner, "So is my dress, and you wanted it."

Yuki acknowledged Nekra's point, "True. What else can golems do?"

Nekra pondered for a moment before answering, "Well, if I become skilled enough with the magic, we could rely solely on golems to defend the dungeon."

Chapter 7: Cat Nap
Nekra had bought the golem magic for 50,000 DP….

Now Yuki held the purchase in her hand, inspecting it closely. "So the magic is in this orb?" she asked, her curious eyes gazing at the object.

Nekra, standing beside her, responded, "Nya? I think so?" She wasn't entirely sure but placed her hand on the orb.

Suddenly, the magic from the orb flowed into Nekra's mind, and she knew she needed to use her knowledge skill to access the robotic information she wanted.

"Robotics, robotics..." Nekra began, attempting to access the information from her knowledge skill. However, she couldn't anticipate the overwhelming flood of knowledge and expertise she would experience. "Nekra?" Yuki asked in concern as she saw her companion struggling.

"Headache, Yuki. Nya, it hurts," Nekra gasped, tears welling up in her eyes as she tried to make sense of the influx of information.

Yuki, unable to resist, embraced Nekra tightly, patting her head gently. Nekra started to purr unconsciously, a reaction to Yuki's comforting touch.

"Do you need any blood?" Yuki inquired, offering herself as a potential source.

"Nya? I'm fine, Yuki, just hold me more purr," Nekra responded, her eyes still closed.

"Sure thing, Nekra," Yuki replied as she gently carried her to the bed, carefully laying her down.

===============================================================

At the adventurers' guild, the guild master was growing increasingly concerned. "Why haven't they come back yet? I sent one S ranker and five A ranks with them, not to mention the C and B ranks," he wondered aloud.

Suddenly, an elven receptionist rushed into the guild. "The search party has returned!" she exclaimed.

The guild master asked anxiously, "And the news?"

"It took awhile because the search party had to clear a cave in." The receptionist says

The guild master nods "Continue."

The receptionist hesitated for a moment before saying, "The mission was successful, but... it came at a cost."

"What's wrong?" the guild master pressed.

"It's not the goblins. It's the adventurers," the receptionist explained, her eyes downcast. The leader of the search party, who had joined her, added, "It was over a thousand dead goblin bodies. They succeeded at the cost of their own lives. The S ranker died, impaled by multiple weapons in what appeared to be a final battle."

The guild master was solemn as he absorbed the information. "That's grave news," he said, acknowledging the magnitude of the situation. "The country would have needed to field an army to fight off the goblins if their numbers continued to grow. I will inform the nobles and maybe make some heroes out of them and compensate their families." With that, he dismissed the receptionist and the leader of the search party, pondering what steps to take next.

=====================================================

Nekra eventually woke up, feeling Yuki's comforting embrace. "Nya? Yuki? How long was I asleep for?" she inquired, blinking and stretching.

"Nekra was asleep for a long time," Yuki replied gently.

(Sage: ten years)

"Nya, so every time I get advanced information, I have to assume I'm going to be out for a while," Nekra realized.

"So, what did you learn?" Yuki asked with curiosity.

"Droids, drones, fallout robots, basic mechanical engineering, nya. There's also a lot of other robotic knowledge that's being sorted," Nekra said, overwhelmed by the abundance of information.

"I can't wait to start building," Nekra said excitedly, her enthusiasm evident as she contemplated the possibilities.

Yuki glances at her adorable and exited master as the cat girl's eyes begin to glow a sinister red… It was clear she was losing to her blood thirst.

"Yuki..." Nekra tones desperatly.

"Mhmm." Yuki says with a nod presenting her neck again.

"Thank you for the meal." Nekra says knowing she needs to take less blood this time as she sinks in her fangs.
================================================
"Thank you, Yuki, the food you make is absolutely delicious," Nekra expressed her gratitude, her tone lighthearted. She then proceeded to gently lick the bite mark clean, displaying a sense of satisfaction.

Yuki, curious about their next course of action, inquired, "S-so, w-what's the plan?"

Nekra's ears perked up as she pulled her head off of the Fox girl's neck. She responds with enthusiasm evident in her voice, "Now, we'll start creating robotic golems."

Yuki posed an essential question, "Where will we create them?"

"Nya where? In the dungeon of course!" Nekra says the idea of mecha completely clouding what remains of her little common sense.

"Why not improve the dungeon layout? It would be unwise to experiment with robotics in a cave, especially in case those people return." Yuki responds

"Great idea, Yuki. By the way, what's our current DP count?" Nekra asked, wanting to assess their available resources.

(It's at 250,673 DP.)
"Nya? It went up!" Nekra expressed her surprise and excitement at the noticeable increase in their dungeon points.

Yuki offered an explanation, saying, "Nekra was asleep for a decade, which allowed the DP to accumulate."

Feeling a sense of guilt, Nekra admitted, "Oh, I'm sorry, Yuki, for leaving you alone for so long."

Yuki, however, reassured her, "I got to cuddle with Nekra all night, so it was alright. I missed you a lot."

Nekra responds with a chaste kiss.

"I am sorry I kept you waiting Yuki." Nekra whispers.

Chapter 8: Housekeeping
"We need to work on the dunyaon, Shall we create a maze?" Nekra proposed as she gazed at the dungeon's interior on the console.

"That sounds like a good idea. We could also set up some traps," Yuki suggested, revealing the trap tab to Nekra.

Nekra's eyes lit up with excitement. "I could make a trap door with a golem that only activates under a certain weight. It will let us save points on the traps Nya!"

"Ah, that's clever. We'll need to expand the dungeon for that," Yuki points out.

"We can make robots and golems do that for us," Nekra suggests, eager to conserve their dungeon points.

Yuki hesitated, seemingly about to raise an objection, but before she could, Nekra used her magic to create an army of golems. "Nya, get digging," she commanded the magical constructs.

The golems diligently set to work, expanding the first floor of the dungeon. With each stony footfall and the rhythmic chipping of their fists against the hard stone, the dungeon's layout gradually transformed expanding.

"So, what do we do now?" Yuki inquired, unsure of her role in this.

"We wait, Nya... How about watching some anime?" Nekra asks her eyes appearing like stars.

Yuki nodded, longing for the moment when she could hold Nekra in her lap again. "I've been practicing cooking while you were asleep," she confessed.

"Really?" Nekra responded, her mouth watering at the thought of Yuki's food. She couldn't help but imagine the delectable dishes her companion might have whipped up.

"Yes, I did," Yuki confirmed, mesmerized by Nekra's adorable expression. 'I really want to kiss her,' Yuki thought, feeling her cheeks flush slightly.

"So, where did we leave off? Season 2 of Knights and Magic?" Nekra asked.

=====================================================
A few months later.
====================================================

"Guild master!" The same elven receptionist burst into the guild master's room.

"What is it?" he inquired, looking up from his towering stack of paperwork with weary eyes.

"The cave's layout has changed—it's like a labyrinth now, and it's guarded by stone-type monsters. Strangely, when they exit the cave, they just die," the receptionist reported.

"Is it possible that the rumors about dungeons are true?" the guild master contemplated. There was only one other dungeon in the world.

"If this is the case, we need to inform the king. This could be a significant asset to our country... Start sending higher-ranked adventurers to explore this labyrinth, and we'll need to give it a name," the guild master commanded.

"If the dungeon proves unremarkable, contact the hero to see if she can seal it," the guild master added, preparing a report.

… More god damn paperwork.
=======================================================
"This is so nice," Yuki mused as she gently petted the napping Nekra.

'I wonder if it's her cat side that makes her sleep so much. Not that it matters; she looks so cute like this,' Yuki thought, cuddling with the girl who was peacefully asleep on her lap.
===========================================================
"Nya!? I'm awake," Nekra exclaimed, jolted from her slumber by the blaring alarm.

"Good morning," Yuki greeted her.

"Who's that?" Nekra inquired, gazing at the adventurers locked in battle against the stone golems.

"It seems the guild has discovered us," Yuki informed her.

"Is the core still hidden behind the Knight MK1?" Nekra asked.

"Yes, and it's still concealed with invisibility on the roof," Yuki replied.

"Good, nya. Do the golems drop anything?" Nekra continued her questioning.

"Other than their stone bodies, not really," Yuki replied.

Nekra then decided to browse the Dungeon Point store. Her eyes widened with excitement as she spotted something.

"They have it!" Nekra exclaimed, wearing a radiant smile that seemed to captivate Yuki.

"What are you talking about?" Yuki questioned, completely clueless about what Nekra had found.

"It's an iron golem spawner from Minecraft," Nekra explained.

"A what from what?" Yuki inquired, having no idea about either of those terms.

"It's part of the knowledge I instinctively possess. But if I want a detailed explanation, you know the drawbacks, nya," Nekra responded.

Nekra retrieved the golem spawner and asked the sage, "Sage, how does this work?"

(Sage: It absorbs magicules in the air to spawn iron golems.)

"How about we bury it about two feet beneath the dungeon floor?" Nekra suggested.

(Sage: That should work; the iron golems will spawn within the dungeon.)

Yuki raised a skeptical eyebrow. "What's so special about these weak iron golems?"

Nekra explained, "They're made of iron, which means we could effectively have a mine. The country would want to exploit the dungeon for its resources, which means more adventurers and more dungeon points."

With a sly glint in her eye, Nekra revealed her grand plan. "Maybe we could even make a guardian... a golem-metal mechanical dragon. That ought to be scary enough."

Chapter 9:
Nekra explored the magical store interface, searching for intriguing possibilities that might capture her attention. Like one would watch amazon deals and usually end up spending way more money than they wanted to.

"Workshop add-on, nya?" Nekra voiced her interest, her feline instincts apparent.

From the kitchen, Yuki's voice inquired, "Did you say something, Nekra?"

While considering the workshop add-on, Nekra's thoughts wandered, questioning its purpose within their core control room.

Nekra eventually decided to make the purchase, noting, "It's nyathing, Yuki."

Yuki commented on her increased use of the Nya's, "Your verbal tic is getting worse."

Expressing her annoyance, Nekra responded, "I nyo." Ears flat against her head, as the cat girl looked fully defeated.

Trying to ease the situation, Yuki humorously remarked, "I think it's kind of cute... did we just have a room added?"

Acknowledging the success of the purchase, Nekra proudly shared, "Yes! I bought a workshop add-on, nya. How could you tell?"

Yuki explained, "I am the spirit of the dungeon; of course, I know when a new space is added to my body."

This realization prompted Nekra to revisit a long-asked question, "Nya? Is it possible for you to leave the dungeon?"

Intrigued, Yuki questioned, "I should be, but why would we need to leave?"

Nekra eagerly revealed her ambitious plan, "Because, in about 289 years, there's going to be this opportunity for an adventure!"

Concerned about the delay, after all 289 years was extremely specific, "Can't we do it now?"

Nekra, contemplating their chances, responded, "I think Dwargon might accept us. They should still be on their second king, though."

"How do you know all of this?" Yuki asks

"Because I am a genius like Tony Stark, and I'm going to go build a golem robotic dragon to protect the core. It will be like Reptar!" Nekra says

Yuki, puzzled by Nekra's earlier reference to "Reptar," questioned, "What's a Reptar, and who is Tony Stark?"

Nekra, equally baffled, admitted, "I don't know."

A span of several days passed, during which Nekra continued her tireless work on the golem robotic dragon, putting the finishing touches on its intricate design.

However, her jubilation was suddenly overshadowed by the realization that she had no idea how to program the creation.

"Programming involves a vast amount of information. Who knows how long I'll black out for, nya," Nekra pondered, her apprehension evident.

Coming into the room with a plate of food, Yuki tried to reassure Nekra, "It looks amazing, Nekra!"

Despite her concerns, Nekra confessed, "I know, but to think we could buy strands of titanium weave and encase it in that, then make the body out of reinforced steel. The only problem is it won't move if I don't use my knowledge skill."

Inquiring about the potential duration of her blackout, Yuki asked, "How long?"

Nekra, uncertain yet hopeful, replied, "I don't know... it should be longer than a year, though."

Yuki suggested a practical solution to ensure the continued protection of the dungeon during Nekra's absence, "Why don't you create a core guardian, since the dragon won't be done for awhile and secure the core within an almost indestructible box before you embark on your knowledge-seeking journey?"

Expressing her concern for Yuki, Nekra remarked, "Nya, what about you, Yuki? I'm leaving you alone again."

Yuki, undeterred, assured her with a passionate kiss. After breaking the kiss, she responded, "It's fine."

Acknowledging Nekra's growth, Yuki continued, "I feel the same, but I'm young... at least I think I am. I have fragment memories, Yuki, nya. So wait for me to grow up, okay?"

Assenting to Yuki's proposal, Nekra agreed, "Okay, I can wait."

Resuming their plans, Nekra suggested, "Let's construct a steel knight to guard the core room. And maybe an adamantium sword."

A peculiar thought crossed Nekra's mind: "Can I use golem magic on the adamantium and grant the sword special properties?"

Implementing her idea, she used golem magic to enhance the sword with a magic induction coil inside, allowing it to superheat.

After slotting in a magic stone, Nekra declared, "Done, nya."

It had been a month since the start of the Magic Knight program and Nekra had made a true monster, It was a golem with loaded springs and wound gears. It was a deadly machine that would nearly match an S Rank adventure in strength. It couldn't even near the hydraulics and muscles on the dragon but it was overkill for any B rank party that tried their luck.

Surprised by Nekra's sudden transformation into a focused worker, Yuki noted, "Your serious working face looks cute."

Nekra stationed the knight outside the core room before venturing into the dungeon to create golems, and a full Roman legion appeared at her command.

Surveying the completed tasks, Nekra declared, "That should help, nya, and they are skilled builders. We will continue to grow bigger!"

Before retiring for the night, she enclosed the core in the titanium box, concealed by a new invisibility cloak.

Nekra crawls into bed with Yuki looking at her partner.

"I'll be here when you wake up dear." Yuki whispers

"Okay, good night, Yuki," Nekra whispers in reply.

"Of course, Have a good rest, and I will watch over the dungeon." Yuki responds wrapping Nekra up in her tail

As a final reminder, Nekra whispers, "Just incase Make sure you replace the invisibility cloak in 30 years, nya."

Yuki nodded in understanding and sealed the night with a tender kiss on Nekra's forehead.
'Programs…' Nekra's thoughts were abruptly halted as the sudden surge of knowledge overcame her there was a searing pain then all was black, as Nekra entered a dreamless sleep.

Programs… Not Programming or computer Programming, but Programs.

Chapter 10:
Nekra awoke abruptly to a blaring alarm, disoriented and worried about the source of the commotion.

"Yuki!?" she called out, her heart pounding with anxiety and her Ears ringing.

Eventually, she arrived at the core control room, to see Yuki staring at the monitor in horror.

Nekra quickly joined Yuki, who was also startled by the alarm.

"Nekra! Someone defeated the knight!" Yuki exclaimed in distress, pointing at the ruined golem.

Nya!? Why is she here nya!?" Nekra shouts

"Ramiris come out!" Milim shouts standing next to the completely destroyed knight.

"Huh? Is she in here?" Milim asks going into the core room and immediately locking onto the core still under the invisibility cloak.

"What's this?" Milim asks ripping off the invisibility cloak. Revealing the Titanium Box
Nekra, alarmed and desperate to protect her Yuki, quickly teleported to the core room, shouting in a panic, "Please don't touch it, Nyat!"

The powerful Demi-Goddess, Milim, turned toward Nekra, her eyes initially filled with irritation. However, upon laying eyes on the young dungeon master, she was abruptly charmed by the cuteness she saw.

"Who are you to tell me what to— Cute!" Milim exclaimed, her demeanor shifting instantly from anger to fascination and affection.

(Sage: skill added Charm)

'What I didn't try to charm her?'

(Sage: skill is passive)

'But'

(Sage: you are cute deal with it.)

Milim immediately dives and hugs Nekra

"Nekra! Are you okay?" Yuki's voice chimed in as she appeared behind them, equally captivating to Milim.

Milim couldn't help but gush with approval, "Also cute!"

She then turned to Nekra with curiosity, "Are you two from Karion's country? Why are you here in the labyrinth?"

"Could you promise not to tell anyone?" Nekra asks hitting Milim with kitten eyes wide, pleading eyes with a soft, innocent gaze. Finalizing the blow with a soft Purr.

Milim immediately folds, giving in to the cuteness. "Fine, no one will know about a thing that you tell me."

"I'm Nekra, the dungeon Meowster, and this is my labyrinth," Nekra stated, wearing a cute smile.

"Those soldiers I fought earlier were remarkably skilled, so great job. The knight was pretty impressive. Can I keep the sword?" Milim inquired.

"Thank you, and certainly, those golem soldiers were a legion. Nyaaa, so what brought you here to talk to Ramiris?" Nekra asks.

"Ah, I was bored, and she usually has entertaining projects," Milim replied.

'Sage, how much DP does Milim provide?' Nekra queried.

(Sage: A significant amount...)

"I'm working on creating a dragon, and perhaps you could join us for some anime," Nekra admits with a goal of keeping Milim in the dungeon as long as possible.

"I'm not sure if she can enter the core control room; I mean, it's, um... in a separate dimension? I'm not entirely certain," Yuki replied.

"Considering her parentage, it shouldn't pose any problems, nya," Nekra reassured.

Milim fixed a thoughtful gaze on Nekra and inquired, "You seem to possess quite a bit of knowledge, little girl."

"My special skill is knowledge, nya," Nekra responds with a sly smile.

"That's... a very dangerous skill, so be careful," Milim warned as she lifted Nekra into her arms.

"Lead the way, wherever you're taking me," Milim said.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Yuki asked.

"Ah, right, I need to create another legion," Nekra with a snap of her fingers 6000 stone golems are created.

Milim looks at the show of magic jaw dropped. "Are you also a Demon Lord? That was an exceptional amount of magical power for even an advanced demon."

Nekra responded as the three of them arrived in the apartment, "Ah, I'm a werecat vampire princess."

Milim, clearly intrigued, commented, "So, you're a vampire? Your kind typically keeps to the shadows... Wait, did you say princess? I can't believe the vampires have a surviving member of the original royal family."

Nekra seemed taken aback, "Nya?"

Curious, Milim asked, "So, what do you two do here?" Without doubt trying to change the topic.

Nekra explained, "We watch anime, create golems, and play video games."

Milim pondered for a moment, "Wait a minute, Isn't anime the thing the summoned heroes are often talking about?"

Nekra nods in affirmation.

Yuki didn't want to let the royal family comment get by, seeking clarification, she asked, "Milim?"

"Call me Onee-san," Milim replied since she was slightly taller than Yuki and taller than Nekra.

Nekra, her concern palpable, asked, "Nee-ya, you won't tell anyone about us, right?" visibly distraught at her failure to speek.

Milim reassured them, "Of course not. I wouldn't want any of those nasty Demon Lords trying to kidnap and experiment on two young girls."

Nekra couldn't help but wonder, "Does Yuki have charm too?"

(Sage: Yes)

=================

Two weeks later, Milim announced her departure, "It's been fun, but I have to go. I might return in the future!"

After Milim disappeared, Nekra inquired, "How long was I asleep for?"

(Sage: 50 years)

"I'm so relieved you're back," Yuki expressed, hugging Nekra before sharing a kiss.

"Can I make it up to you, nya?" Nekra asked

"I bought a maid outfit," Yuki revealed, to which Nekra simply nodded.

As Nekra considered her situation, she wondered if there might be something to mitigate the drawbacks of her abilities.

'Occulmency... wait, what's that? I should check the DP store later,' Nekra contemplated, her skill hinting at a new avenue of discovery.
