[X] "Let's go see Hase. I want to see the look on his face once I'm done with him."

Most likely for us to make progress and lets face it, for as much sympathy as he deserves, Hase's still an ass.

Moemura in a Fight without Guns may work, but she's not exactly going to be cut out for it unless she uses Timestop

And Challenging Baron? Right Now?

Lolno. Bannanaman would kick our ass.

Small potatoes, literally no point in bothering with him beyond petty grudges. That's like trying to feel smug about winning a fistfight with a baby.
[X] "You know, I think Danza usually claims the closest stage. How's an Inves compare to a Magical Girl?"
An interesting matchup, unexplored territory.
[X] "If this Lockseed's as good as you say it is... Why don't we go all in, pay Baron a visit?"
Kaito's behind the power curve now that the Ichigo lockseed is on the board and can be beaten pretty handily, but the real problem is the fact that Peko will jack the lockseed and make the Inves go out of control as soon as it looks like Team Baron's on the backslide. The idea of a victory that size is tempting, but a bait option.

can someone explain to me what this inves game is and how it works, please? I'd like some context.

OOW raises an good point about Baron being a trap option, but it's a trap that could be to our benefit to spring. Peco's main motivation for cheating at the Inves game is to get the part of the local dance scene he hates out of the way so he can actually dance. Baron's leader, however, won't stand for this kind of behavior if he's made aware of it. And if the Inves goes out of control, we get to see how a Magical Girl holds up against an Inves anyway. In short, Danza doesn't offer anything Baron doesn't, and deliberately going after Hase just makes us the kind of scum that lords the slightest bit of power over anyone that can't resist.

Pokémon battles with tiny toku monsters, basically.
Two teams of street dancers contest who gets priority over a stage for a dance at a given moment or exclusive rights to use the stage by pitting Inves summoned and controlled with Lockseeds against each other in a fight.
Okay so pitting Homura against them is a terrible idea then. This is Loop 1 Homura, she has yet to learn how to properly leverage her hax to be effective at combat.

And from what I gather going for Baron is basically "Hubris, thy name be voterbase". Thus...

Nobody fielded the idea of making a random stranger they just met grapple with an Inves for them. The vote is explicitly "who do we use this new lockseed on."

SV CompetenceTM strikes again.

Only choice. Maybe we can become a worthy second lineup or something.

Lichte makes a great point. We have to end the public menace known as Baron.
