OH CANADA!!!
"We are now at Mitakihara City." A young girl opened her eyes as a soft mechanical voice called her from the depths of her mind. After she grabbed her things she joined the crowds of people as they exited the bullet train. Right out of the station she took a look at her map before she gazed at the unfamiliar street before her. This girl had large red rim glasses, braided black twin tails and a modest purple dress. Her face was a bit scared, a bit hopeful, a bit doubtful.

The city was large and teemed with people. She walked by buildings of glass and steel, many of which had a unique postmodern design, said designs came under fire 2 years ago in 2009 when many people started to notice the similarities of the designs to other foreign structures. Chatter, phone calls, clicks of phones, the honk and groans of cars and all sorts of other sounds blend together to create a constant world of noise. Very few could be discerned.

"...this confounded rumor -
"...about that mass suicide in Kazmino..."
"...we have reports-"...come back! You know I'm..."- attacks on multiple major cities..."
-of such a site on the internet..."

She kept walking along. Off to wherever the big circle on her map leads her to. After some time she found an old European style apartment that's still in fine condition. Getting inside the building she took out a set of keys with the numbers 32 on them. There was an elevator that had a brass cage design. It didn't took long for her to get to the third floor and into her new residents. It was mostly empty, save a small couch in the middle and a bunch of boxes in the corner. The wallpaper had a beige colour with a diamond pattern. The room was both a living room and kitchen with two doors leading to the bathroom and bedroom respectively.

With a simple sigh she locked the entrance behind her before she sat on the couch, dropping her bag just a few dozen centimeters away. "The world's so strange now. I've only been in the hospital for three years but..." Sitting up straighter she looks at the window. It frames an old part of Mitakihara, one that took European design cues and is one of the few districts that had not been modernized yet. "...I like this place. It's a bit old but it matches my old home. Not that I could even go back there..."

She stares out the window for a while, an unsure expression forms on her face. "Well I don't think I can just sit down all day. I better go and unpack all the boxes, hope my PS3 is still intact-" unfortunately for her her foot found itself on her bag and she tripped forward as she fell right on this very screen no wait a minute-

Oh crud.

"Oh... What did I fall on..." She looked straight at you, her eyes bewildered as she started perceiving a reality that she really wasn't meant to find out. "What... W-W-What is this?!"

Well, you just kinda discovered the fourth wall Homura. I was going to try my hand at another HomuHomu's Bizzare Adventure but it seems like my efforts go to shit as always.

She looks around frantically. "Huh? Who's talking?! W-Where are you?"

I technically exits within the confines of the writing itself i.e. I'm typing all this from a computer. Took me many retries before I got here. As for name just call me Lefty, it's short for Look to the Left though others do call me LttL.

"So... I'm a Light Novel Character?"

Nah, even worse. A playable character in what's effectively an interactive fanfiction based off one of the more... eh... lets say 'sadder' magical girl shows.

"Wait! That means... Does that mean I'm not even the original Homura?" Sweet started pouring down her face. Her breathing faster and heart rate at dangerous levels.

In way you're my interpretation/version/perspective of Homura Akemi. So... Yeah... You're pretty much right on the spot. Also say hi to the player base!

She looked at you again. She doesn't seem okay. "Um... H-Hi...?"

(Speaking in brackets so she won't hear me. In order to speak to her you'll need to talk in coloured text but only once per update. Also I'd take it she'll only respond to a few posts, specifically the ones she finds most interesting and/or relevant. It also makes it easier for me to write this update. Also don't post yet I've going to post two reserve posts).

Hi, Homura, I'm Firebird! How are you doing today?

This'll be fun, provided that Left doesn't accidentally kill it again.

Don't worry Homura. We've already done this sort of thing once before with a different version of you, and after a brief period where she thought she was going insane, we guided that Homura to a very happy ending. You're in good hands. Also, I'm Rex by the way.

Yeah, @TheBleachDoctor already did this sort of thing with Homura. I joined to late to participate though, so I look forward to this.

Now now none assorted voices in our Homura's head, do you honestly think she needs our help?

Now don't scare her. Hello Miss Akemi It's always nice to talk to someone who ended up at such a high place as you did in your source material.
SpeckofStardust at your service.

Hi Homura. I have led countless iterations of you to misery. Except for the one time that you were a cat.
My suggestion: Get a cat. Cats are small, nice, fluffy, and can comfort you when you most need them.

Hello Homura I am Hoshu, I shall ask a question. Whats better a lie that draws a smile or the truth that draws a tear?

Hello Homura. Sereg here. Do not be concerned. What is important is that we want to help you. Another, higher level of reality does not make your own unimportant.

Has anyone really been far as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Bit more seriously, a talk-to-the-MC write-in system like this could work pretty well for a Baten Kaitos Quest (with the game series addressing the player directly as a 'Guardian Spirit').

Hello, Homura! I am Shaseyu and I have great news for you: You Did Nothing Wrong!
Never forget it, and if someone say otherwise, remember that they are just jealous of your overwhelming Homuness. Just flip your hair dismissively and ignore them.
...Actually, why is your hair braided? Let this fabulous Homuhair free!
