Alright, I fixed the fight scene (I think).

I'll be going in and fixing other minor discrepancies that I missed too. Except, ahh, the fight scene wasn't that 'minor'.

Witch Hunt pt. 3

    • A quick bright flash of pink light and Madoka is back in her school uniform.

    You follow suit.

    Amura merely stares uncomfortably at the ground.

    You don't think Amura wants to turn into a cat infront of you. Not yet at least. Maybe it's the woman?

    "Hello," you wave. "I'm Sabrina Vee. I don't think we've met before?"
    "Where am I?"
    "It's nice to meet you, Ms. Vee. I'm Madoka Kaname." You swear you saw a faintly amused expression flash across her face.

    At some point Amura removed the cat ears.
    "You're alright." Mami soothes.
    "That girl over there is my teammate, Mami Tomoe. She's helping that woman over there. She was kissed by the witch." Her expression sours for just a moment.
    "Oh god- I- I"
    "And no, we haven't met before- but that doesn't mean we can't be friends!" She smiles.
    "It's alright. It was just a bad dream."
    "Is there a way I could help you?" You inquire.

    "We could go and check up on them, i- if you'd like." Madoka suggests.

    "Sure." you nod.

    The woman seems to relax slightly as you and Madoka walk over.
    You think Madoka is the reason she relaxed.
    Her eyes widen with shock "I- I- I jumped but I don't know why-"

    "It's alright now. You're safe." Madoka reassures.

    Madoka kneels down to reassure her.
    "I- I"

    She continues sobbing into Mami's arms.

    "We should get you home. Would you like us to escort you?" Mami offers her.

    She simply nods.

    "Alright. Ah, I don't think our new friend introduced herself." Mami

    "Right, I'm Sabrina Vee. I just recenty got my ring."

    "Would you like to come with us, Ms. Vee?"

    "Yes I would." you reply.

    The woman starts walking home and the four of you follow.

    Madoka, Mami, and Amura don't speak to you during the trip. They're all busy making sure the woman is okay and keeping an eye out for witches.

    As you walk, your mind drifts. You start thinking about this loop. It had a pretty strange start. Madoka is a magical girl- maybe it's an earlier loop?

    You briefly check Madoka's soul gem and...
    It's huge. This is probably a later timeline, in that case. But then... why is Madoka contracted? Homura would never allow that to happen.

    Homura wouldn't. This version of Amura- wouldn't either. She knows all too well that magical girls turn into witches. Neither of them want to meet Kriemheld Gretchen again. Nor do you.

    Did Amura replace Homura? Still, with her current knowledge, she wouldn't let Madoka contract. So why... is Madoka a magical girl?
    Is she with Mami? Mami wanted her to contract but Mami dies fighting Charlotte. Mami dies fighting Charlotte if nothing is done about it- but all she needs is support. You can save her.

    You get the feeling- no you know Nagisa Momoe has the potential to contract- and will if nothing is done about it. Nagisa is someone who has no business contracting. A little girl with her whole life ahead of her.

    Nagisa Momoe: an innocent child, an orphan who wants nothing more than her mom to live, turns into a witch because Kyubey manipulated her into selling her soul for a cheesecake. A cheesecake. Or at least, she will if no one does anything about it. You fully intend to do something. You will prevent that from happening.

    You arrive at a rather large house. It has the same 'modern' style that a lot of the buildings in the city do. It's most prominent feature are it's windows. They're huge and stretch from the floor to the ceiling. What is it with this city and glass?

    A shaky voice pierces the silence. "W- we're h- here. Th- thank you gir- girls for h- helping me." It hiccups.

    "It was our pleasure, Miss. After all, we couldn't let you go home alone in your current condition." Mami smiles.

    *click*

    She shut the door.

    • My general idea for the next update is that you'll be talking with Mami, Madoka, and Amura, and then going to Mami's place in the update following the next one. I don't know why I never mentioned it or made it a voting option, but it is now.

    Nothing about Sabrina being hungry was mentioned. Creating food out of grief isn't really possible, and if it was, feeding it to other people would be asking for them to be horribly maimed once they leave Sabrina's control radius and it turns back into uncontrolled grief inside them, where it'll eat away at their insides with hyper-accelerated entropy.

    Seriously, what the hell?

    I though Grief Chocolate was a thing...or was that an omake? Honestly I'm still catching up with that quest so if I'm wrong in my assumptions, then I apologize.

    Do you have a better plan to replace mine?

    If you want to write an omake, feel free to write an omake. I have no issues with that. But please, do not put the characters through the pain that would be ingesting grief foods. This can end in one of two scenarios, one of which is the one mentioned by Godwinson, and neither of them are pleasant for anyone involved.

    Really, just pick some other demonstration of her powers. And ignore the omakes, they're irrelevant insane shit 99.9% of the time.
