Well I'm wary of TP for various reasons, but I left my wording a bit vague. 'Attempt to communicate' might include TP or Miniamiphone if Yui thinks its a good idea, or it might not.

We held our own well enough while in the middle of it, and this explicitly has us keep our distance and avoid the fear effect.

And anyways, Maiko is working on it but its gonna take the night. Which is probably what you mean, lets come back tot his problem tomorrow, but... I don't really feel comfortable letting a monster run around in our city pulling souls out of people if we can help it. I want to try to address the problem in at least some minimal capacity.

Honestly, because of how the telepathy relay thing works even that's not really necessary; it's pretty much completely safe. That said, I'll probably use this as a chance to establish that IC after Yui does in fact ask permission, since--as should be obvious--it's not gonna work via Kyubeyphone.

By the way, continuing the "Clara Doll resemblance" theme, have two mildly informative links: One that's straightforward, and one that's a very minor spoiler.

Like the Clara Dolls, the names are words with relevant meanings, and the doll focused on anger is named Muhou. And yes, the actual definition does relate to the way the anger is expressed.

If we're going to try interacting with it more, we might as well go all the way. It was tethered to something, or more likely someone, before and the tether is broken now, right? It probably doesn't like that. No one likes the feeling of broken connections to others. Fortunately, who do we know that can seize control of abstract, unknown magics which have stopped working and make them function properly again, for values of "properly" defined almost entirely by her own beliefs and expectations? That's right, it's Magical Empress Yui-chan!

Don't hold back, team! Grab that broken magical tether and rewire it directly into Yui's soul, thereby probably declaring ourselves the new empress of the unwitches (or angering them and entering immediate battle to the death)!

From what Yui can determine based on what's left of the broken connection, it was something bidirectional, with a strength about halfway between a Witch's Kiss and the connection between a meguca's Soul Gem and body.

So... if that is possible, the result might not be a permanent soul graft and loss of individuality, at least. That makes it a good idea, right? I think that's how it works.
