    Many consider the city of Koushun as a model city, an utopian state amidst the wider world. Skyscrapers tower high into the sky, crowning the center of the so called "city of glass", it's glossy surface reflecting the Sun's brilliance on the day. A modern city that grew rapidly throughout the years, reflecting the optimist found on its inhabitants who considers it a tranquil place to live.

    A yet... danger lurks on every corner.

    Unknown to people are Witches, hideous creatures born of magic and harbingers of despair. They curse the people's heart, whispering falsehood on their ears while taking them abode, where they find no way out. Fortunately, the city is not without defenders: The heroines of love and peace; magical girls. They harness the power to fight them with grace and determination, a power granted by a mysterious creature, Kyubey the tsukaima, in exchange for a single wish.

    Yet is a constant struggle, an ongoing secret war that knows no end; and yours is now the call to take action.

    Introduction

    So, following the idea that started back at the Homuchat, this is the thread for the future PMMM RP. Welcome.

    There's some stuff that still need some tweaking, but here's what I got so far:
    • SV Forum rules still apply, so make sure to follow them. I shouldn't remind you all of them since the forum rules are there to be read and serves as your first and only warning. This shall be the second warning, then, and because is better to be safe than sorry.
    • This is a pre-madokami campaign, settled on a city far and away from Mitakihara and the like. This also will follow the complex and overcomplicated rules of Freeforming, so I'd like if you all don't metagame and keep things civilized. Dice might be used for randomize some stuff behind the scenes, but that won't get in the way of interactions, or combat.
    • The final say will rest on me and on the Co-GM @Slith10. That said, I do want you all people to go nuts and have fun.
    • Applications are free for all and everyone who wishes to try, but I'l only take up to six active players. The rest will be put on the waiting list.

    • Hmm, I'm interested. I'll try to write up a story tomorrow as it's already late into evening here.

    Will this be a first come first serve?

    Now, actually generating a character... that'll be the touchy part :oops:
     
    Actually, I have a question for all of you.

    Do you want to be the one deciding the powers you get with your wishes? Or is the sheet fine as it is? First RP, literally, so I do want to know.

    I'd say players can atleast SUGGEST powersets, as a lot of us will probably make wishes with that in mind. Can we post forms now, if we have them?

    - Name: Hashimoto Aiko
    - Age: 16
    - Occupation: Student

    - Soul Gem color: Green
    - Wish: "I wish to be useful so that others would appreciate me!"
    - Context of the Wish: Aiko was abused by her parents and often told that she couldn't do anything right. She was clumsy and would sometimes break things and felt that she was a burden to those she was around. She was awkward and introverted in social situations and was bullied too, so she never felt welcome and had no friends. She wondered if she'd be missed or would diminish he world t all if she died. She decided that she wanted to find a way to make the people of the world happy that she existed and that's how she came up with he wish.

    - Appareance:


    - Personality: Aiko is reserved d subservient, but eager to please. She's uncomfortable in the spotlight or doing anything that require delicacy due to her former clumsiness and poor self-esteem. That said she craves companionship and affection and delights in demonstrations of other people's talents.
    - Backstory: Aiko wasn't a particularly talented individual and was poorly coordinated, hence her clumsiness. Her parents were important business people who pushed Aiko to succeed harder than she could cope with and didn't take her failure well. She only became more of a disappointment to them with the birth of her younger, ore talented sister which made her own failures even more insulting to her parents who abused her. She became increasingly more withdrawn, especially as people began bullying her in school and her schoolwork, which wasn't terrible due to her tendency to retreat to er books when the world became too much, began to suffer more which increased her parents' abuse. She was contemplating suicide and what that would mean when Kyuubey approached her and offered her a wish.

    • Not sure if I'll join in or not, but something I'll definitely be keeping my eye on. Maybe I'll be a replacement for when the bodies start piling up.
     
    I don't need to suggest a powerset. My character doesn't know what she's getting after all.
     
    So that means that you're letting me decide the powers for you? Very well.

    I'd like to see more sheets before coming with a decision. With how her wish is worded, Aiko would be getting a supportive powerset.

    - Age: 15
    - Occupation: Student

    - Soul Gem color: Purple
    - Wish: "I...I want to be like Moonleaf. If I had magic...If I had that kind of magic, life would be easy!"
    - Context of the Wish: Made to Kyubey while weeping. Her Gaming Club at school disbanded due to not enough members, and it was her only real social outlet, due to not being popular. She identifies with a wizard she was playing in a Dungeons and Dragons character, and wants to be like them instead of the talentless, friendless nerd she is now.

    - Appearance: Setsuko keeps her lavender hair in twin braids, and wears blue-framed glasses. She's tall and lanky, and usually has a bandage on her big forehead from bumping into things.
    - Personality: Setsuko is timid, clumsy, overly critical of herself, shy, and awkward. Don't mistake her entirely for a Moemura expy, she's nowhere near as charming. She might be along the Autistic spectrum with how she misses social cues and says awkward things, and doesn't know when to shut her mouth or pick up on the mood. She only feels confident, capable, and likeable when she's playing games. She lacks the hand-eye coordination for most videogames and finds them extremely lonely, so she tries to pressure people into her tabletop hobby whenever she can.
    - Backstory: Setsuko is painfully ordinary. Nothing special has ever happened to her, and she has no friends to speak of. Her parents both work, so she usually microwaves her own dinner, only seeing her parents on the weekend. Before her contract, she was seriously considering suicide without her gaming group to support her anymore.

    I have ideas on how to manifest Setsuko's magic, and will probably discuss it with the GM(s) if I get accepted. She ain't no Gamer expy.
