Puella Magi Aemulator Labyrinthum

'You know what? Fuck this. Fuck it. Ask these bloody stupid ambushes and twatting familiars .'
I raise my other hand, the one not holding fueguchi one, and concentrate. I pour magic down the limb, focusing hard on the image of the weapon I wanted to summon.
'Fueguchi Two!'

I growled and charged for the turrets, swinging my weapon in hope to destroy these things.

"You know, in the anime, shits were way faster than this!"

For once, I was in the middle of the group. Everyone meandered about; and they probably didn't know what to do aside from go forward. Not that this bunch would admit it, well… maybe Yuki. But she hadn't said a thing either.

The monotonous hallways had gotten beyond boring, but the sheer size of this barrier was astounding. The ones that Mami had dragged me to were nowhere near this big. Still…

Our feet shuffled our bodies like the walk of the damned as we made our way through the labyrinth. Similar looking walls faded into the back of my mind as I absently thought about my diary and its contents.

Krackthoom! More familiars broke through the wall as if it were but glass. A cloud of dust and bits of walls smacked against my body, harmless though it was, and obscured their numbers from my sight. I ignored the stinging in my eyes as I got ready to summon my weapons.

Yuki cried out, "I wish the fucking ambushes would just stop already!"

I latched onto those words with my magic. And used it to grant that wish.

"I wish the fucking ambushes would just stop already!" I yell as I segment my staff and lash it toward the turrets behind the group, throwing up a hand to try and summon a barricade of polearms in front of the wheel, like Kyouko could.
Your extended swordstaff hits a turret. It takes damage, but it is still operational. Some of the bullets and fiery metal dust end up hitting you in the process. You channel your magic, and out of the ground bursts an array of segmented swordstaffs, forming a wall. Said wall is able to protect you against the incoming wheel, and some of the projectiles, from that direction. (105/1000)

"Wishing doesn't end well in this 'verse!"

I try to charge the polearms.
You reinforce the barricade with your magic, making it stronger and capable of blocking all projectiles from that direction. You have taken some hits, however. (412/1000)

...You end up summoning another Fueguchi One, whose blade proceeds to split lengthwise into four parts. You've also taken a few hits from the enemy. (100/1000)
I growled and charged for the turrets, swinging my weapon in hope to destroy these things.

"You know, in the anime, shits were way faster than this!"
You jump towards a turret, ignoring the projectiles you take, and swing your morningstar at a turret. It takes good damage, but it is still operational. It then proceeds to shoot at you point blank.

The enemies attacking your group are not affected, but all other ambushers in the Barrier end up disintegrating into wisps of grief. You won't be encountering any ambushes in this Barrier from here on. (110/1000)

Meanwhile, the turrets continue to rapidly fire bullets at you, while the burning rust familiars proceed to expel fiery metal dust all around them, while trying to break your eardrums with the Godfather tune, which has become louder. All of you have taken some hits from said dust and bullets.

The wheels continue to close in. They are one second away from you.

I stagger a bit and throw my hands out to the sides, summoning more staves to impale the rust familiars.

I flung my rings at the wheels as hard as I could without losing accuracy. They sailed towards their targets, with the hope that their momentum was enough to halt the coming wheels.

I twisted to the side, letting the bullets ricochet off the sloped angle of my armor.

Howling in pain, I smashed it again with my weapon.

The new Fueguchi one quickly twists and turns, using its flat edge to bat away any projectiles. My other Fueguchi I flicked out, and slammed into the familiars to my right, smashing then against the rough wall of their hole.

More staves, four of them, burst out from the ground and proceed to snake towards four of the rust familiars, impaling them. They're now unable to move, but they're still alive, and still burning. (145/1000)
"Oof!" I try stab through the barrier with my charged sword again.
The wheel in front of you collides with the barricade, then gets stabbed by your charged blade. (422/1000)

The rings do damage to the wheels, and slow them down. (115/1000)

The turret is destroyed. The others still remain.
The new Fueguchi one quickly twists and turns, using its flat edge to bat away any projectiles. My other Fueguchi I flicked out, and slammed into the familiars to my right, smashing then against the rough wall of their home.
The four impaled familiars are slammed into the wall. (110/1000)

One wheel gets destroyed as a result of taking a thrown ring, colliding with the barricade, and getting stabbed by a charged blade. The other wheel, however, collides with Nodoka. At speed. Said wheel then hits Yuki, and slams into the barricade, getting stuck there in the process. Both magical girls are injured, but fortunately still alive.

The four rust familiars which were impaled and slammed into the wall explode violently, in a blast of shrapnel, flames, burning oil, fiery metal dust, and shock waves. Ouch.

The remaining four burning rust familiars continue to shoot fiery metal dust from themselves, and either melee you with their claws, or simply lunge at you with their burning selves. The remaining five turrets continue to blanket the area in a hail of bullets.

I start throwing charged swords at the turrets. As I do so, I move over and charge Fueguchi One.

I gripped the weapon with both and and channeled magic through it, causing the end to burst into flame. Growling, I swing out in a wide arc, trying to catch as much turrets as possible and drive the enemies away from me.

I flicker back to normal and lunge toward Nodoka to try and shield her.
You become a human shield for her against the hail of bullets and dust. Then one burning rust familiar proceeds to lunge towards you. Ouch. (165/1000)
I start throwing charged swords at the turrets. As I do so, I move over and charge Fueguchi One.
You throw a spread of three charged swords at three of the turrets. Two are destroyed, while one is heavily damaged, but functioning. Then, you proceed to reinforce Rize's weapon. (477/1000)

You set your weapon on fire, jump, and swing at a pair of nearby turrets, taking fire from them and the other enemies. The two turrets end up exploding afterwards. (320/1000)

There are four burning rust familiars, one turret, and one wheel left. The rust familiars shoot metal dust and proceed to lunge at you. The turret continues to shoot bullets, though at a slower rate. The wheel is still stuck on Yuki's reinforced barricade.

I swing my now charged weapon at the rust familiars, bisecting them breadthways even as my four limbed fueguchi parries their metal dust to protect my compatriots.

I charge the four-limbed Fueguchi as well. Then I throw another charged sword at the last turret.

You set your weapon on fire, jump, and swing at a pair of nearby turrets, taking fire from them and the other enemies. The two turrets end up exploding afterwards. (320/1000)
I groaned, swinging my weapon around me blindly as I stumbled back, hoping to catch something with it
"This is rediculous, what the hell is this? Familiar baby boom? "

The bisected rust familiars end up exploding around your group. Violently. (120/1000)
I charge the four-limbed Fueguchi as well. Then I throw another charged sword at the last turret.
The last turret blows up, and you get to reinforce the four-limbed Fueguchi. (502/1000)

You catch a charging rust familiar just as Rize's Fueguchi One bisects it. Said familiar explodes afterwards.

Meanwhile, the wheel is still stuck in the barricade.

The four limbed fueguchi stabs any remaining hostiles, while the flat of Fueguchi One blocks the shards the other familiars produced.

I produce another charged sword and wait for any familiars to approach close enough for me to stab them.

I climb to my feet and impale the wheel. Violently.
I let my armor took the worse of the shrapnel while I smashed the wheel.
I assist Yuki after giving her a look of gratitude.
The wheel ends up destroyed, broken into pieces.

No enemies are around. (Jessica: 517/1000, Rize: 125/1000)

"Um. I guess we don't need the barrier anymore?" I wave at it. "Anyone need a healing?"
