Project Moon Related Media Crossover and Fanfic Ideas Thread

Alright, Bad End ID Sinner swap is a common idea in the fandom--especially after Manager Don--and while I'm not comfortable or willing to write a fanfic where we're barely have half of them(and even then G Corp Greg is a bit too dissappointing of a departure compared to his current life). But how would they each end up going into Limbus and what would their Canto be about?

Wracking my head a bit I've come up that instead of a wish I think each of the Sinners will literally have 'Sinned' in whatever their definition would be and since almost every bad end ID is a snapshot just after or before their choices catch up to them.

NClair is said by Carmen to end up dying pitifully, so he'll be picked up by Limbus after Kromer/NFaust leave him for dead after he tried to bite moew than he can chew and the last thing he sees is the dissappointed glare from Kromer/Nfaust because he failed at being the next The One Who Grips. Could even be that it was just a purge operation against a more powerful augmented force so it wasn't even entirely his fault, just structural over-confidence. Maybe even saved by Demian, realizing how he threw away his potential, and try to

Ahabmael is funnily enough, can share things with her canon self by being shipwrecked. Also inspired by canon Ahab's defeat, my first idea is that the Pequod gets fucking murked by the Crimson Whale and she's madly screaming trying to kill it even all alone, delusionally calling out to her dead crew.... and then she sees the Indigo Elder row himself to it, and one shots(or have an actual fight instead of being withered to uselessness) her obsession. So she's left drifting at sea, muttering to herself as guilt suddenly wracks through her until Limbus picks her up.

Manager Don's most likely will lead the Bloodfiends into a suicidal hunt for Bari, and while likely to kill her too(remember that Bari herself said that if the entire Manchegan fight--whether or not that include Dadqui is a bit ambiguous--her she'd lose) they are relatively bloodstarved and have just helped with filial impety so they're a wreck mentally. However, I'd prefer if we move past this and have Sancho, who's already cynical about the whole Blood thing considering her voicelines, be the head of the Manchegans for the past 200 years and them becoming outcasts also to Bloodfiends due to committing impiety suffer a slow detoriation over the two centuries. This leads her to slowly be unable to even justify killing OG Don and here comes Limbus with a promise that they can help her 'redeem herself'

Wild Hunt unlike all the other ones above, can literally just be Erlking himself, realizing his foolosh decision to commit Multiversal suicide-murder.

No idea what to do with Spicebush(Or maybe even going for RingSang)

Yeah SpiceSang is slightly more chill than Dongbaek and there's not a lot of ways to play with him in that world. Maybe make him realize how his mirror tech is being used positively in some way?

RingSang is a bit like Dongrang in that he's utterly disposed of his own past, I like the idea that the inciting incident that leads him to want to redeem himself is Dongrang commissioning a drawing from him to celebrate bein promoted or winnin an award or something. Can even play with the difference of a 'photograph' and a 'painting' for thematics sake.

spicebush YiSang...

Dongbeak gains her EGO When everything has passed, all her tools has died. The alliance is nothing but scraps and exploded corpses. So why not? At the end of everything, Spicebush YiSang has lost his everything, again, even those tools of revenge. he has lost it, then he doesn't have anything left to try again.
Dongbeak seems to be out of the question when in this mirror world, is it too bold to assume that she has died already or something? I don't exactly remember the Spicebush story since it has been a long time.
So, Before her death. She gave her ideal to YiSang.
So now after failure upon failure to achieve her ideal, he is here, lost, without anything and everything, but he still wants to get it, the return of the past, the revenge against those who would reap it away, that ego of his is the representation of that.

... And he will still want to return to the dirt. For a spicebush the beauty is only momentary, their greatest value is what they can do after the flowers fall into the dirt.

Still a seeker of death, that boy. a wingless crow standing upon rooftops, staring into the mirror shards. And abandoning it, for it no longer cares about those shining moments of joy.

He probably never even talked with Gubo in this mirror world, Instead is either grabbed by dongbeak, or told who betrayed the league of nine by her or both.

So what is it I'm trying to say? well...

This YiSang Has already throwed his everything at K Corp once already, He has pass the moment of glory that a spice bush should die, and has came out the other end a failure again, who is then given a deal by Faust to do it again. And this time given a chance to kill those who were at fault.

And so... The checkpoint incident will probably be his fault, being a terrorist and all that tends to have your face be plastered upon wanted posters.

pending details it could also be a trifecta ego swap with dongrang getting the mirror shard ego and inevitably twisting it to hell and back with envy instead of gluttony while back if she ends up alive getting a version of dongrangs that embodies her new approach to life...... sewing the seeds of destruction to create a dire garden
Spicebush yi sang in turn likely be a bit more of a spur of the moment actor and end up his groups equivalent of don.... in that he does what he thinks is right because he cares nothing for past or future only the present
Certain humor there when you realize it

Yeah, that does sound... actually plausible and in character. I can see the the humor now and it is....

All 3 still ending up embodying past, present, and future
Simply the way it is expressed changes
Dongrang losing sight of the present and past for a future that will never be
Yi sang losing sight of future and past by purposefully avoiding contemplation in the pursuit of moral action, an oblivion by a different name but one all the same
Dongbaek, losing sight of the present and future by nurturing the grudges of that awful night until they become ready for harvest, a burning of the straw to burn those that wronged them

A never ending cycle it seems to me.

So if the all the Sinners are wod splats what would they be?

  • Like Yi Sang's Canto outright shows that he belonged to a circle of mages or at least technocratic version of a linear magician. He even has a (potential ?) avatar in the form of Sang Yi.
  • Heathcliff is a garou, a ronin to be exact, though he's technically a sliver fang by adoption. Despite Mr Ensaws's genuine kindness to him (especially compared to his biological son) he didn't officially induct him into the tribe before his death.
  • Ishmel would definitely be a Hunter, though this dosen't really change much since the venn diagram comparing the skill sets of fixers and hunters is basically a circle.
  • Sinclar is the sole CoD rep since he's a forsaken, who has a nasty run-in with a group of Fire touched and there has a unhealthy obsession with him because she saw a vision of Sinclar and her purging the unclean together
Anyone else has an idea?

Gregor is outright a Deviant, though whether he's a Renegade or a Devoted is up in the air. He might also fit as a Lost changeling, if we think of Herman as a Fae.

Rodion's probably also a Hunter, one that's really thinking about taking the plunge and getting her neck bit.

Don Quixote is a Vampire.

Hong Lu is probably a Dreaming Changeling, if not a very strange Mage.

Would Ryoshu fit better as a Toreador or as a Dreaming Changeling?

Mersault... Promethean?

Outis is either a Mage or an experienced Hunter.

Faust is straight up a Mage, probably favoring Mind and Time to connect to the Gesselchaft.

Faust is either a Mage or, alternatively, a Promethean

Or also a Deviant, a cephalists definitely whose Scars are all Social and Mind based.

Ryoshu feels like a Daeva, or could be a Slasher..... Actually considering the motherhood thing+SANGRIA feeling like some sort of spirit ban from being too spirit harmony, I'd peg her as an Uratha now.

Weirdly enough, Sinclair feels very Mage but one that's in the process of Awakening. The mountain of bodies feels like a halfway Thyrsus Ziggurat. Though he can also be an Uratha considering his rage and Forsaken 2e does love it's body horror

IMO, Gregor's a Devoted. Just not one that's loyal to his source conspiracy.

Yi Sang is a mage, 100%. Free Council or Nameless Order, leaning the latter but has FC sympathies.

Ishmael's the changeling--bored office worker who craved exciteent and romanticism but the adventure traumatized by a foreigner of her lifestyle yet also becoming too similar to her abuser? Definitely changeling. Ahab however was also a changeling but slowly became a Fae

Outis hunter or mummy
Meaursalt, begotten, likely of the inguma ie human nightmare family
Ishmael I can see as part of Leviathan fansplat or eshmaki ie aquatic begotten.... or as a slasher, a really Focused one
Faust promethean definitely or mayhaps a new world of darkness demon
Dante would likely be one of those fellows with a shade
Ryoshu...... yeah no, slasher
Don..... vampire mixed with that one fansplat princess the hopeful, she's a vamp but be it don 1 or don 2 I can see her doing it

Has there been any particular IDs of the Sinners that you think don't fit/just weird? Like for me is Blade Linage Yi Sang. Because I can imagine a story where Yi Sang goes to the Ring to get back the Mirror Tech they had only for him to end up becoming infatuated by the Ring's arts by the time he's able to reach it. I can't really imagine how or why he would end up in Blade Linage/staying in it.

That one's the easiest to explain; he's literally from the same district as them, so maybe young Yi Sang just got involved with the BL and joined up. And Ring Sang seems to be post League and his condition in that situationis not conducive on having that kind of drive trying to get back his tech--most likely he just joned an Evil Art Club and got obsessed with Evil Art

We have to remember that every single three saw identity is a distant possibility
There is really low likelihood they could end up like that.
They have to live a very very different life to end up in the position of any three star identity.

But anyway back to blade lineage Yi Sang.

Blade lineage is The group that does not care where you come from as long as you have nowhere to go and are willing to pick up a sword and learn they will accept you

Yi Sang could have returned home after everything, into his home district and have nowhere to go because he doesn't have a home anymore, and got picked up.
