Pokemon Trainer Quest

[X] Dragon
[X] Deino
[X]Pokemon bestiaries
[X] [Name + Image] Shade

I adore Deino, it's my favorite dragon type Pokemon, and it's also really really good.

[X] Dragon
[X] Axew
[X]Pokemon bestiaries

Ok, I like Vullaby but I don't think I've seen an Axew used in a pokemon quest yet.

Though it would also have been cool if we went for a 'mon with a rarer female ratio since we already got an assured female one.

Turn 1 Spring Start
The Haxorus line is one of the easier dragon lines to take care of, while largely territorial they do not have as large of attitude problems as most dragons have. Axew is mostly found in a variety of caves, as Haxorous use caves as nests and places to teach their young until they are ready to leave the nest.
The Haxorous line in Unova has been known to interbreed with Extradrills in their caves lending both drillburs and Axew found in Mistarlion cave a 1/4 dragon and ground type respectively. This allows these pokemon to learn dragon and ground-type moves 1/4 as effectively. However, most bred pokemon of the Haxorous line have interbred with a different type of pokemon usually to pass down an egg move.
Most Haxorous are used throughout the Unovan Pokemon League for a few tasks, territory control, and defense production. Like most dragons, they are territorial. However, most Haxorous take a different turn with caring for their demises as they rule it fairly, but through a lens with them at the top and no one else around to challenge them.

Moves: The Haxorous line is a physical heavy line with the normal claw line of moves as well as both the dark fang line of moves. This is complemented by the dragon claw line of moves and a variety of normal-type status moves.

Abilities: The Haxorous line in the wild either tends to develop the rivalry ability or the Mold breaker ability as well as naturally gaining the hidden ability unnerve.

D18 = 16 Turtonator!
D6 = 6 Night Slash, Axew's other parent: Sceptile

As the light shines into your eyes from your curtains you still start to rise. Sleeping in your arms is your first hopefully partner for life, covered in greenish scales and with two large jutting tusks and a big horn, you can't get enough of how cute she is. However, you have to get out of bed eventually, but you don't want to wake up your pokemon so you carefully start to lift up your pokemon out of your bed and then get ready for the day.

Once you have finished getting ready and begin to head downstairs your pokemon is still sleeping beside you. As you look down at her you begin to notice some differences in how she looks compared to the picture you have in your bestiary. While most Axew has greenish scales your pokemon's scales are slightly greener and the scarf-like shape which is around your pokemon's neck looks like there are small leaves poking out of it. After thinking about it for a while you start to figure it out. It must be because of who your pokemon's parents are. Thinking about it some more you come to the decision that this is the right answer but want to check with your parents to make sure. So you head downstairs and begin to find your parents but not before waking Axew up and heading off together.

As you step outside into your backyard, in the distance you can see the tip of Mt. Silver one of the only volcanicity active mountains in the Indigo area. When your parents decided to start up a breeding business they needed a place that was volcanically active for Tortonator and Mt. Silver was the best place to set up shop. As you wander around for a bit you eventually find your mom. She is sitting on the ground beside your little sister, showing her how to do math problems, because of the distance between Mt. Sliver and most infrastructure your parents homeschool your siblings and you. It makes it so you can have a more hands-on learning experience with what you need to learn but because of that, you will need to travel to a nearby town in order to get a diploma which is one of the main things you need in order to get a Pokemon trainer ID.

As you draw nearer your mom looks up a says "Why don't you help your sister with her lessons." Quickly realizing your mistake to try to flee but your sister notices and jumps at you. After tackling you to the ground you slowly get up and see how you can't escape helping her with her lessons.
Gained Math Level 1, Pokemon Care(Basic) Level 2, History(Indigo) Level 1,

After you helped your sister you ask your mom about your theory and get confirmation, Axew was born between a Sceptile and a Haxorous which means that he inherits his father's move night slash and a minor typing in grass.
Learned more information about Axew, Minor Grass typing, and Move: Night Slash.

After getting your theory confirmed, nothing else happens throughout the day and you head to bed, but after planning what you are going to do for the season.

Time to vote on your first-turn plan! Each plan is a season until you take the School Exam and become a Trainer, and you can combine an action point with one of your pokemon to take two actions in that category, you can do this with a pokemon once per turn.
This is your starting character sheet

It seems to be a great idea to try and get our stats to 11+ so we get 2 actions next turn.

[X] Dracaena

Dragon Tree's scientific name.

[X] Plan Stats Up
Happy to see the update, the stat system seems well done. How aura, pokemon moves, and pokemon parentage is handled is very interesting.

[X] Plan Stats Up

[X] Quilla

Came up with the name Quilla cause Haxorus final evolution sorta has a crescent shape like the moon and the goddess Quilla does have a forest named after her to tie in the grass type.

Pretty cool our family is taking care of some fire/dragons. Wonder if we could get one if we social the dragons well enough.

Also probably for the best we didn't get a Deino like one person voted considering how aggressive those little dragons are.

Since we have a tie. I will flip a coin

d2 = 1

So we have plan start up winning. The next turn will probably be out tomorrow morning as things keep coming up.

Turn 1 Spring 1.1
Type Hotspots are a phenomenon that is the basis for a healthy ecosystem in the wilds. These hotspots are places where the environment naturally makes it easier for two different types of pokemon to live in an area. This boosts biodiversity in the area and allows the growth of a massive amount of pokemon than standard. Hot spots are ranked in a variety of ways: environmental support, the danger of pokemon residing there, and the cost of developing the area but ultimately most face at least a little development from the league to keep track of the trends in the area as it can spiral out of control easily due to a variety of factors, but each of them leads to a collapse of the environment. These hot spots can be man-made or be found in the wild but one thing is for sure they are the cornerstone of the bond between pokemon and humans.

Dragons are naturally predatory, try and find inspiration from your surrounding dragons. DC 30/60/90 Reward: Martial Art
D100 = 22 + 7 = 29 Bare Failure

In a world with creatures that can snap you like a twig, the human race evolved in one of two ways, to create deep bonds and raise each other to greater heights together and to get really, really good at harming each other. While the way of creating deeper bonds eventually won out and has proven to be the better weapon with people who follow this path gaining various supernatural abilities and living longer than average than everyone else. The way of punching each other hard still has some hold on the population, this is shown in the form of martial arts.

Martial arts these days are born from insights gained from those surrounding you, the trees, water, or most often your pokemon. These martial arts are usually directly related to your pokemon and while most people just try to learn one from someone else, a more personal approach is the best leading to a better-tuned martial art and a greater relationship with your partners.

How this relates to well you are doing figuring out a martial art from your surroundings is a complicated subject considering how you tried to learn more about martial arts before you began getting insights and got sucked down a rabbit hole, never actually learning a martial art, but you think you have a greater foundation and can learn better for it.
DC Lowered for learning a martial art

Understanding people is important, try to understand how people communicate. DC 10/60 Reward: +1/2 Diplomacy
D100 = 86 + 8 = 94 Success

Talking and understanding pokemon is a key trait in a breeder, it can tell you when a pokemon likes something or when it will chomp off your hand. While understanding humans are something that is not as high risk as pokemon diplomacy it still has the same fundamentals, body language.

For most of the season, you try to pay close attention to those around you and how they involuntary react to things around them. Halfway through the year you begin to notice these things subconsciously and don't need to focus on these things as much. By the time the season ends, you truly think you are better at understanding and noticing people.
+2 to Diplomacy

Axew is just a newborn help her get settled and explore her new life. DC 10/90 Reward: +1/2 with Axew, ???
D100 = 4+ 8 +5 = 17 Bare Success

As you go through your days Dracaena follows you around and seems to spend a lot of time looking intently at you but you became so busy you never really had the time to figure out what it was about.

+1 with Axew

You haven't really explored the area around your home, you should do that DC 20/40/60/80 Reward: Discovered Areas
D100 = 93 + 7 = 100 Critical Success
Crit Roll D100 = 74 + 100 = 174 Total

You never really went out exploring in your home and it shows as you wander through the forest, Dracena following behind you. In the forest, you struggle to find a place to put your feet and can never seem to follow any landmarks. Until you start to hear a faint splashing of water and you decide to follow the sound but as you draw closer the trees start to get thicker and thicker and you soon you can't get through but you feel a flash of insight and begin to circle this impenetrable thicket of trees. Luckily you had this though because as you do it you find a worn-down path that leads straight through these trees.

Following this path, you begin to see more and more signs of extreme growth, trees growing through each other, various bushes overproducing, and dead plants littering the floor around you as the path continues. Feeling intrigued you continue onward despite all the warnings, eventually in the distance you begin to see an archway, you share a quick look with your partner beside you and then sprint towards this archway feeling your curiosity burn inside you. The archway is hard to read through all the overgrowth but you can see flames and a vague outline of a bird.

Looking at it for a bit more time and trying to commit it to memory you begin to head through the archway. Immediately you begin to feel an emanating heat and some mist, but you push onward leading you into a waterfall that is gushing extremely hot water surrounding it are a variety of roots, at a closer glance it looks like the roots are trying to stop it from falling. As you walk further in you begin to see various things from a set of stairs that lead further up to where the waterfall is to an area of interconnected pools which seem to house a variety of pokemon. After a moment of hesitation, you begin to head towards the pokemon, as you near you see a variety of various fish pokemon swimming through a variety of plants, mostly lily pads. In the water, you begin to see roots all over the ponds and a variety of dead leaves floating in the ponds. You continue leading into a large pool and as you peer closer begin to see a long snake-like body that seems to be laying still in the water. In the pool there are again a lot of roots slowly entering the water, some almost look like they are surrounding the snake-like creature. Looking at the creature you decide to
