[]Indigo Kanto and Johto, two siblings bound together with mutual bloodshed and tears under the aegis of the Indigo league. Formed after the Kanto and Johto war in which both sides faced massive casualties the only way to survive in the harsh world was to combine into the Indigo League. A lot has time has passed since then leading to most of the populace seeing no divide between Kanto and Johto. This area was home to Team Rocket before they disbanded through the efforts of Red and Leaf and Gold and Lyra ten years ago.
[]Hoenn Hoenn, a land of water and various biomes, this land is one of the most aquatic regions with a Pokemon league. Hoenn was beset by two rival groups Team Magma and Team Aqua which called for the removal of the ocean and humans respectively. These two groups were broken up by Brendan and May ten years ago bringing peace to the region. However, there is an underlying tension in Hoenn as their ability to mega evolve is a tactical advantage that they have over most other regions with it being able to be used away from their homeland, unlike most advantages individual Pokemon leagues have.
[]Sinnoh Sinnoh, the land of time and space, was also known in ancient times as Hisui. This land has had rumors of different Pokemon that used to exist in ancient times but disappeared from the public as time went on. However, Sinnoh is still home to the ancient clans who used to live back in those ancient times maybe they have the information about these different Pokemon. This land used to be the home of Team Galactic which wanted to destroy the entire world and recreate it in their image. However, they were stopped by Lucas and Dawn ten years ago.
[]Unova Unova, the land of concepts, is home to legendary Pokemon which take up various concepts and gain power from them. This land is home to Team Plasma which fought to "liberate" all Pokemon from their Trainers however this was just a cover to rule Unova. This team was then fought off by Hilda and Hilbert ten years ago. As well as Rosa and Nate two years later after the original destruction of Team Plasma.
[]Kalos Kalos, the home of life and death. This region is home to Pokémon with the ability of reviving life and utter destruction. The Kalosian people place a large importance on a Code of Honor and ethics which is a relic of a bygone era in which they were ruled by nobility. This region is also home to mega evolution which is a tactical advantage that they have over most other regions with it being able to be used away from their homeland, unlike most advantages individual Pokemon leagues have. Team Flare, the criminal organization in this region, which believed in making a "beautiful and better" was eliminated through the efforts of Calem and Serena.
[]Alola Alola, an Archipelago, is home to 4 guardian Pokemon which protect the group of islands from various interdimensional invaders. This land is a prime vacation spot for many people. These invaders take the form of various Pokémon as well as other people from realities. This region is home to no particular organization, but there is a large market for smuggling and crime. However, some interdimensional invader was a Team that was fought back by Elio and Selene ten years ago. The weak dimensional field in this area means that various Pokémon can tap into a new form of power while in the islands called Z-moves which are an increased Pokémon move.
[]Galar Galar, the land of energy, is home to a large confluence of energy that powers the ability of the region to increase the growth in their Pokemon rapidly, called Dynamaxing. This region is home to varied environments from the idyllic countryside to snow-covered mountains. This region did not have a criminal organization, but it did have a large upset from the scandal of the Rose, the chairman of the Galar Pokemon League, who put the entire region in harm's way. However, they were stopped by Victor and Gloria, bringing peace back into the region.

AN: Hi, This is my first quest, but I think I have it pretty well planned out so feel free to ask any questions. There will be a explanation for how this quest will work under this post and I will probably give this about a day before I count the vote and post the second part. So I hope you enjoy.
This is where the various rules and formats for the quest will live.
Attributes: You start with 6 attributes with one of them locked.
Martial: This is how individually powerful you are. This can vary from superstrength to knowing martial arts.
Diplomacy: This is how good you are with people and Pokemon, This can vary from being charismatic to intimidating
Stewardship: This is how well you can take care of something. This can vary from taking care of Pokemon to doing everyday chores.
Intrigue: This is how well you can uncover secrets. This can vary from uncovering knowledge about the world to taking secrets from someone else.
Learning: This is how well you gain things and apply them. This can vary from teaching a Pokemon a new move to learning a martial art.
Aura: This one is locked and can only be opened through a deep bond.
Each of these attributes how much and how well you can do things in the quest. This is shown through 4 levels of attributes
1-10: This is when you get one action point per turn in this attribute. This is usually where a child to a normal teenager would land.
11-20: This is when you get 2 action points per turn in this attribute. This is usually where a regular adult would be.
21-30: This is when you get 3 action points per turn in this attribute. This is usually where someone who had been doing a job for years would be.
31-40: This is when you get 4 action points per turn in this attribute. This is usually where elite trainers would be.
Attributes can be improved through various improvement actions until you reach the third level in which you can only gain them by going through hard trials. There is a hard cap on how high you can get your attributes and that is 40. However, once you reach this point you can try and reach for a capstone in which you become supernaturally good at one specific thing giving you a bonus of +50 rather than +40 but you can only do this once for each attribute.
Turns: Turns happen every season so you get 4 turns per year. This happens until you go on your Pokemon Journey in which the amount of time passes to a week. During each turn, you will choose various actions to take for each attribute you have as well as a personal action in which you can do something social with someone. Each of these actions will have a threshold in which you roll d100 to pass over. Then you add your relevant skills and attributes to it and then get your total. If that total exceeds 100 you get a critical success and I roll again. However, at the end of this roll, you do not get attributes added at the end unless in unusual circumstances.
Pokemon: You also get to choose what various actions your pokemon take. These Pokemon have the same attributes system but with Aura unlocked already as you as well as an action point system. However, if you do not spend any time with them they may become annoyed and begin to disobey you.
Gained: Certified Egg Handler: You can handle various Pokémon Eggs and are given a certificate to prove it. +5 to all dice rolls involving egg and baby Pokemon.
As the blinding light leaves your eyes you can see the backyard from which your family's livelihood is based on. It starts off with a shed in the back in which your parents keep a variety of tools to take care of Pokemon. Then there are the corrals that hold your families' prized partners. Pokemon are descended from your grandmother's ace pokemon, who was a high-level ACE trainer, protecting the Indigo League for decades. However, your mother did not follow in her mother's footsteps and instead took your grandmother's ace pokemon and began a breeding business in which she supplies the League with various baby pokemon which are used through the league for money. As you continue walking out into the backyard and off of the porch your parents look up and exclaim, "Happy Birthday!" They start to rush toward you and bring you into a hug. You quickly hug back feeling at home in their arms. Then your parents start to herd you back inside saying that they have a surprise for you and to get your brother and sister up. You quickly rush off just to do that so you can get your present. As you run up the stairs, you quickly start banging on the door yelling "Get up, Get up!" Thumping is heard from the other side and a door opens, behind that door is your older brother. He looks at you with a glazed look in his eye. You ignore it and begin to drag him toward the kitchen table. Once bring your brother to the table, you rush upstairs to do the same to your little sister.

The Haxorus line is one of the easier dragon lines to take care of, while largely territorial they do not have as large of attitude problems as most dragons have. Axew is mostly found in a variety of caves, as Haxorous use caves as nests and places to teach their young until they are ready to leave the nest.
The Haxorous line in Unova has been known to interbreed with Extradrills in their caves lending both drillburs and Axew found in Mistarlion cave a 1/4 dragon and ground type respectively. This allows these pokemon to learn dragon and ground-type moves 1/4 as effectively. However, most bred pokemon of the Haxorous line have interbred with a different type of pokemon usually to pass down an egg move.
Most Haxorous are used throughout the Unovan Pokemon League for a few tasks, territory control, and defense production. Like most dragons, they are territorial. However, most Haxorous take a different turn with caring for their demises as they rule it fairly, but through a lens with them at the top and no one else around to challenge them.
Moves: The Haxorous line is a physical heavy line with the normal claw line of moves as well as both the dark fang line of moves. This is complemented by the dragon claw line of moves and a variety of normal-type status moves.
Abilities: The Haxorous line in the wild either tends to develop the rivalry ability or the Mold breaker ability as well as naturally gaining the hidden ability unnerve.
D18 = 16 Turtonator!
D6 = 6 Night Slash, Axew's other parent: Sceptile
As the light shines into your eyes from your curtains you still start to rise. Sleeping in your arms is your first hopefully partner for life, covered in greenish scales and with two large jutting tusks and a big horn, you can't get enough of how cute she is. However, you have to get out of bed eventually, but you don't want to wake up your pokemon so you carefully start to lift up your pokemon out of your bed and then get ready for the day.
Once you have finished getting ready and begin to head downstairs your pokemon is still sleeping beside you. As you look down at her you begin to notice some differences in how she looks compared to the picture you have in your bestiary. While most Axew has greenish scales your pokemon's scales are slightly greener and the scarf-like shape which is around your pokemon's neck looks like there are small leaves poking out of it. After thinking about it for a while you start to figure it out. It must be because of who your pokemon's parents are. Thinking about it some more you come to the decision that this is the right answer but want to check with your parents to make sure. So you head downstairs and begin to find your parents but not before waking Axew up and heading off together.
As you step outside into your backyard, in the distance you can see the tip of Mt. Silver one of the only volcanicity active mountains in the Indigo area. When your parents decided to start up a breeding business they needed a place that was volcanically active for Tortonator and Mt. Silver was the best place to set up shop. As you wander around for a bit you eventually find your mom. She is sitting on the ground beside your little sister, showing her how to do math problems, because of the distance between Mt. Sliver and most infrastructure your parents homeschool your siblings and you. It makes it so you can have a more hands-on learning experience with what you need to learn but because of that, you will need to travel to a nearby town in order to get a diploma which is one of the main things you need in order to get a Pokemon trainer ID.
As you draw nearer your mom looks up a says "Why don't you help your sister with her lessons." Quickly realizing your mistake to try to flee but your sister notices and jumps at you. After tackling you to the ground you slowly get up and see how you can't escape helping her with her lessons. Gained Math Level 1, Pokemon Care(Basic) Level 2, History(Indigo) Level 1,
After you helped your sister you ask your mom about your theory and get confirmation, Axew was born between a Sceptile and a Haxorous which means that he inherits his father's move night slash and a minor typing in grass. Learned more information about Axew, Minor Grass typing, and Move: Night Slash.
After getting your theory confirmed, nothing else happens throughout the day and you head to bed, but after planning what you are going to do for the season.
Time to vote on your first-turn plan! Each plan is a season until you take the School Exam and become a Trainer, and you can combine an action point with one of your pokemon to take two actions in that category, you can do this with a pokemon once per turn.

Type Hotspots are a phenomenon that is the basis for a healthy ecosystem in the wilds. These hotspots are places where the environment naturally makes it easier for two different types of pokemon to live in an area. This boosts biodiversity in the area and allows the growth of a massive amount of pokemon than standard. Hot spots are ranked in a variety of ways: environmental support, the danger of pokemon residing there, and the cost of developing the area but ultimately most face at least a little development from the league to keep track of the trends in the area as it can spiral out of control easily due to a variety of factors, but each of them leads to a collapse of the environment. These hot spots can be man-made or be found in the wild but one thing is for sure they are the cornerstone of the bond between pokemon and humans.
Dragons are naturally predatory, try and find inspiration from your surrounding dragons. DC 30/60/90 Reward: Martial Art
D100 = 22 + 7 = 29 Bare Failure
In a world with creatures that can snap you like a twig, the human race evolved in one of two ways, to create deep bonds and raise each other to greater heights together and to get really, really good at harming each other. While the way of creating deeper bonds eventually won out and has proven to be the better weapon with people who follow this path gaining various supernatural abilities and living longer than average than everyone else. The way of punching each other hard still has some hold on the population, this is shown in the form of martial arts.
Martial arts these days are born from insights gained from those surrounding you, the trees, water, or most often your pokemon. These martial arts are usually directly related to your pokemon and while most people just try to learn one from someone else, a more personal approach is the best leading to a better-tuned martial art and a greater relationship with your partners.
How this relates to well you are doing figuring out a martial art from your surroundings is a complicated subject considering how you tried to learn more about martial arts before you began getting insights and got sucked down a rabbit hole, never actually learning a martial art, but you think you have a greater foundation and can learn better for it. DC Lowered for learning a martial art
Understanding people is important, try to understand how people communicate. DC 10/60 Reward: +1/2 Diplomacy
D100 = 86 + 8 = 94 Success
Talking and understanding pokemon is a key trait in a breeder, it can tell you when a pokemon likes something or when it will chomp off your hand. While understanding humans are something that is not as high risk as pokemon diplomacy it still has the same fundamentals, body language.
For most of the season, you try to pay close attention to those around you and how they involuntary react to things around them. Halfway through the year you begin to notice these things subconsciously and don't need to focus on these things as much. By the time the season ends, you truly think you are better at understanding and noticing people. +2 to Diplomacy

Crit Roll D100 = 74 + 100 = 174 Total
You never really went out exploring in your home and it shows as you wander through the forest, Dracena following behind you. In the forest, you struggle to find a place to put your feet and can never seem to follow any landmarks. Until you start to hear a faint splashing of water and you decide to follow the sound but as you draw closer the trees start to get thicker and thicker and you soon you can't get through but you feel a flash of insight and begin to circle this impenetrable thicket of trees. Luckily you had this though because as you do it you find a worn-down path that leads straight through these trees.
Following this path, you begin to see more and more signs of extreme growth, trees growing through each other, various bushes overproducing, and dead plants littering the floor around you as the path continues. Feeling intrigued you continue onward despite all the warnings, eventually in the distance you begin to see an archway, you share a quick look with your partner beside you and then sprint towards this archway feeling your curiosity burn inside you. The archway is hard to read through all the overgrowth but you can see flames and a vague outline of a bird.
Looking at it for a bit more time and trying to commit it to memory you begin to head through the archway. Immediately you begin to feel an emanating heat and some mist, but you push onward leading you into a waterfall that is gushing extremely hot water surrounding it are a variety of roots, at a closer glance it looks like the roots are trying to stop it from falling. As you walk further in you begin to see various things from a set of stairs that lead further up to where the waterfall is to an area of interconnected pools which seem to house a variety of pokemon. After a moment of hesitation, you begin to head towards the pokemon, as you near you see a variety of various fish pokemon swimming through a variety of plants, mostly lily pads. In the water, you begin to see roots all over the ponds and a variety of dead leaves floating in the ponds. You continue leading into a large pool and as you peer closer begin to see a long snake-like body that seems to be laying still in the water. In the pool there are again a lot of roots slowly entering the water, some almost look like they are surrounding the snake-like creature. Looking at the creature you decide to

AN: I will be taking the tally in 3 days because things have been pretty busy.
The collapse of a type hotspot is something that can bring calamity to an area, when the fragile ecosystem between the already present types is broken it can lead to a large growth of one type of pokemon as well as the death of a whole slew of pokemon which rely on these hotspots to live. This is usually the best case which in the worst case is when the broken hotspot produces a small amount of truly monstrous pokemon, these pokemon witnessing the collapse of their home move out into the surrounding area on a rampage and usually evolve and grow out of control as time goes on. Usually, after a month or so, they are brought down by a different pokemon but not before causing widespread destruction.
When you put your hand in the water with Dracena mirroring you, the entire area seems to stop making noise. The fish stop moving and the trees suddenly stop swaying in the wind but before you can pull your hand out of the water it rapidly heats up and the water starts to boil. Quickly removing your and scooping Dracena into your arms you back away from the water. From the pool rises a blue-scaled serpent with white fins coming out of its back. Rising into the sky the serpent lets a roar of rage and all of the pokemon and you flee to the edges of the hot springs and hide in a bush.
Gyarados wakes up from sleep
Gyarados lets out a roar of rage: -1 PP
Gyarados: 260/260 HP 429/430 PP
Directly challenging this roar, the swaying of trees increases again, and a strange mix of pineapple and a duck exit out of the trees. On his head for some reason is a sombrero growing out of his head. This pokemon walks into the middle of the hot springs but once he steps into the water he flinches in pain.
Ludicolo activates Gyarados's Steam Body ability and takes d6 = 3 + 5 (level difference) + 2 (Fire/Water Ability) = 10 damage
Ludicolo: 130/140 HP 360/360 PP
Ludicolo then spits out a glowing green orb which from Gyarados's roar of pain sounds like it hurt quite a bit but in retaliation releases a spray of fire from out of the gaps in her scales and it looks like the water increases in heat again. This blast of heat impacts Ludicolo and greatly damages him and it looks like Ludicolo is on his last legs.
Luicolo uses Giga Drain and deals d75 *2 (STAB) = 42 * 0.75(1/4 Fire Type) = 31 damage and gains + 15 HP -3 PP
Gyarados uses Overheat and deals d130 - 10 (Not SpAtker) d120 = 59 *1.25 (1/4 Fire Type) = 74* 1.25(Grass, Water and 1/4 Bug Type) + 5 (level difference) = 98 damage -6 PP
Gyarados using a Fire-type move increases Steam Body and damages Luidcolo for d6 +1 (Fire Move) = 2 + 5 (level difference) + 2 (Fire/Water Ability) = 9 damage
Gyarados: 198/260 HP 423/430 PP
Ludicolo 47/140 354/360 PP
Ludicolo fights through this pain though and throws out a ball into the air to try and you feel sleepy just looking at them but Gyarados is too angry and fires off another blast of fire which seems to make Ludicolo a pile of ash.
Ludicolo uses Sleep Ball( Energy Ball + Sleep Powder) d4 = Auto-Fail Gyarados to angry.
Gyarados uses Overheat and deals d130 - 10 (Not SpAtker) d120 = 59 *1.25 (1/4 Fire Type) = 89* 1.25(Grass, Water and 1/4 Bug Type) + 5 (level difference) = 161 damage -6 PP
Ludicolo is vastly overpowered by the fire move and dies.
Once Ludicolo dies all at once almost all surrounding greenery starts to shrivel up and die only a few older plants that look like they existed before the mass overgrowth still lived. After seeing this the pokemon begin to head back into their respective areas and Gyarados turns her eye toward you and pushes toward you

When you discovered the hot springs in Mt. Silver you wanted to be able to find it easier than you did last time, as stumbling onto a path is not the best way to find a place. Upon deciding this you decided to go to your father as he is the only one in your family who went on a journey, so maybe he will have a way to remember how to find places again.
Once you find your father and tell him of your predicament his eyes light up and he runs off into the garage, recognizing that this happens when you stumble on one of his passions you sit still and wait for him to return. It doesn't take long at all as the door is flung open and he sprints back in with a bundle under one of his arms. As he lays it out on the table you reach out to open it and your father starts speaking, "There is only really one way to find things again easier and it is this wonderful art!" The box opens up and underneath your hands is a place full of various paper maps. Picking up the maps your dad goes on to explain what it is, "These are various maps that I made while I was journeying, each of these is of a different route in the Indigo League and helped me throughout my journey in remembering where things are. Today you learn one of the great tools ever!" Your father then proceeds to teach you how to use the inks for a map, how to read a compass, and various other things needed to make a map. D100 = 82 + 1 = 83 Great Success
By your human's side, you slowly learned how people other than yourself acted but it wasn't enough you wanted to learn more about communicating. To do this you decided to take a page out of your partner's book and begin exploring the area around you. As you drew near one of the weird-colored boxes which house your partner and his clan, wondering what was inside you push through the door. Immediately you were greeted with a rush of heat, looking around you found all the same species of pokemon.
After a second of thought you decide to talk to them, as your greet them, one of the older pokemon opens up their eye and greet you in turn but as he starts talking coughs start coming from them. As you come closer to them and look at the gas you begin to see a hint of purple inside of it and you take a step away. After reaching a safe distance from them you begin to talk to them again and you return again and again as the days get hotter and the land grows dryer. +3 Diplomacy, found elder Turtonators.

Following this feeling, you swiped your claws in the air, and to your astonishment, it created a shine over your claws, but sometimes when you did it created a line of darkness in the direction you swiped instead. Wondering how this work you paid close attention and discovered three different energy in these two moves. When you used the shining claws it used up energy that felt like your identity while using the dark slash you felt more like a predator but what truly surprised you is that hidden in both of these energies are little tiny motes of a different form of energy these felt like stretching a new muscle or running til you were exhausted. FOR ONLY ONE ACTION POINT
I am writing this journal for all those who come after me, this will serve you as an introduction to our temple and the life you will live there.
The temple of the Eternal Flame has great importance, keeping our lord of eternal summer, Moltres, appeased. This is done through a variety of rituals and sacrifices of various forms of fuel.
Like most temples, ours was formed around our lord which means the inner sanctum holds our lord sleeping. However just because she is sleeping doesn't mean we can stop the rituals. As shown in other temples if the rituals stop, the lords tend to wake up and destroy the temple before disappearing into the surrounding wilderness. - Excerpts from the water-logged book.
Moltres are pokemon that have a lot of mysticism surrounding them and their counterparts, from being called the herald of summer to other fire-related epithets. However, unlike the rumors say, there is more than one Moltres or legendary bird, these pokemon are solidary creates which generally make their territory an entire league's worth, causing their small number of fights to break out often among these pokemon. Their lifespan is potentially infinite as they are often in hibernation until someone wakes them where they will fly away to a new location and make a new nest there.
[X]Dragons are naturally predatory, try and find inspiration from your surrounding dragons. DC 20/50/80 Reward: Martial Art
D100 = 1 +7 = 8 Nat 1 Critical Fail

From the Turtonators to your own partner, Dracena, you watch them all over the whole season until the very last day you begin to feel something. At first, you think it is a hallucination but slowly but surely you begin to feel inspired by your martial art, feeling this you head to a corner of your parents' property and try to flow through some moves but once you do, a new sensation appears in your body, one which feels like pinpricks all over your body, you stop immediately as you feel this sensation but is too late the sensation gets worse and you begin to feel great pain. Once you become too much you pass out. Eventually, you wake up again but whenever you think of using a martial art your entire body revolts against the concept.
Gained Trait Not Martially inclined: Whenever you think of using a martial art, you feel your body revolting against you. -5 to all rolls with fighting types, can't learn a martial art unless you get 3 crits in a row on a fighting action, ???
