Planetary Governor of the Multiverse (40k/Multicross Quest inspired by The Long Night Quests)

Heheh, speaking of versions, I think you'll like the omake I'm writing. It involves a version of you. Just kidding.
Well, you're profile in particular. The crab....which while looking at it I just realized it's eggman.

Now I looked at your name, and I've realized it's Doctor Wily form the Megaman franchise. I've wasted my time.
Go on anyways.

Well essentially it's just follows our protagonist or protagonists (must resist the urge to spoil) and their journey through some kind of multi-dimensional space where they encounter...things...and a giant crab (that I will not be changing, as I'm too far in) in which things are said, things are done, things happen, somebody resists something. A peek into the blasted hole where the Tyranids come from, and then something.

Neat, can't wait for it.

@edboy49 Combine with me brother! We must stand together in order to defeat the non-plan voters!
The Giant Robotic Humans are are apart of the land, are our neighbors are they not?
Do it for the greater good brethren...THE GREATER GOOD!

I haveeeee returned!
How dare you mention those words in the Imperium, you sire shall have a 'chat' with the Commissar.
No no no, I did not meant the greater good, I meant the greater good. You see my good sir there's a palpable difference in it.
Dude, It's Giant F-ing Robuts
Yeah what this guy said. Giant + Robots = Yes.

But please don't say anything about The Greater Good again. :p
Well I'll try....But come to the light of the giant mechs, and vote for our plan[ ] Plan GIANT ROBOTS. We even give free dental! (Dentist not included)

Ah, I was just joking. You have my apologies if I seemed angry or anythin', I was just being dramatic very enthusiastic in a silly manner.

I think it'll be interesting, however how will the governor get all the materials for just creating a single giant?
Oh ho ho, we'll I'm glad you've aksed my friend.
Where one opporitunity arises, it can be used to fuel another.
In this case in, in exchange for sending out some scouts, and potentially salvaging ships for metal, we'll repurpose it to crate the giant robotic soldiers powered by one of the most coveted energy-inducing materials in the current existence! All we have to do is find an ample source of it and harvest to our hearts content (while of course, treating with the pilots themselves to be allowed to study the mechs in question, esepcially since there's so many diffferent types).

You know what would be a mind blowing thing to see, both the demons and angels of the bayonetta verse teaming up to beat up warp demons. The will never speak of this and deny this (temporary) truce when they return to their world.

The past five has been a prosperous time for the Mechanicum, very prosperous indeed.

-[X] Study the Machines
--[X] Offer the pilots to take base with us as a sanctuary for them

First, there was the of these peculiar knight titans and several of their pilots.

They were quite different from what you were used to. Where the Titans you know were designed with durability and power in mind, these were designed for agility and versatility, and if the pilots were to believe, space combat.

Combat trials were held between the Titans brought with the mechanicum and these Zakus, and you had to admit, you were blown away. The agility of the Zakus was its greatest advantage of the Knight Titans in winning several of the trial runs.

However, sometimes, agility wasn't enough.

Many Knight Titans pilots had experience combating Eldar and Tau Titans and used that knowledge to their advantage and shown the Zakus their skills. In the end, the worth of the Zakus was acceptable, and for the pilots they were given homes.

[Gundams researched and approved by Mechanicum. Limited production has begun]

Of course there was one more mech that a young tech priest found.
The young tech priest, Si-Mon 1616, had discovered during the many mining excavations. It was quite the oddity.

Stranger still is a lack of a detectable power source and use of the drill like key doesn't turn it on, very, very curious indeed. Si-Mon 1616 was in charge of this peculiar mech. He vows to discover the secrets of this blessed machine.

[Unknown mecha discovered and studies continue]

-[X] Study the Terran Faction armor

The study on Terran power armor proved to be less impressive. While important, it just felt... meh.

And so, experimentation was performed to see if improvements could be made to the armor, it was similar to the Asarte's armor. In fact, you may need to compare them.

You a sure that the Imperial Gaurd might appreciate this armor for several of its regiments, indeed, you can see their use and their upgrades. The armor is now coated in ceramite and fibre bundles have been added to the exoskeleton, and testing has begun.

Some orks had been captured to be used as "training dummies" and so, you watched the test. Four power armoured skitarii entered the testing area with a small hand of unarmored skitarii, engaging the orks in battle.

And it works so far. The armor held up well against enemy fire and two wearers were able to kill an ork in CQC[/QUOTE]

-[X] Study Tiberian
--[X} Try applying it to extreme power-draining devices

The study of Tiberium was both intriguing and dangerous. Intriguing in how it works. Leeching valuable minerals from the surrounding environment and turning it pure clean energy. All the while producing more of itself through spores. And then there's the dangerous part.

Tiberium is probably the greatest environmental danger to an ecosystem next to orks and Tyranid invasions. It changes everything, both environment and living beings.

Worse still, if the GDI reports are true, the mineral itself will mutate over time. This must be contained.

[Tiberium research completed. Research to contain/destroy unlocked. A limited number of power draining technologies switch to Tiberium power sources]

-[X] Speak with the GDI

Meetings between you and the GDI is always a mundane affair.

Most of the time, it was about the Tiberium and other times it was to talk about the heretical Brotherhood of Nod and xeno Scrin. Both had very interesting tech, or at least, what is tech to the Scrin.

You hoped to acquire some of this technology for future study, and of course, you got to know the commander.

Wesley Riggs

A competent and reasonable commander and person. Both Valkov and he get along well, apparently swapping stories of each other's accomplishments You shuddered and pitied Commander Riggs.

[Relations with the GDI has improved significantly]

-[X] Send agents to the portal, and try and figure out any general information that can be gleaned from it, whether science or not

This was the most important mission yet, studying the portal. Preparations were made and the team was chosen for each for their unique skills in this matter. They all stood before their destination, feeling no fear but cautious all them same.

"We are approaching the portal now, Explorator Cervower."

"Good. Begin Preparations."

"Acknowledged" said the Techpriest, as his team slowly made their way towards the portal. Careful in case something came out. But so far, it seemed to be in its "dormant" phase at the moment, which was their chance to set things up.

They placed all manner of equipment around the area to scan any data from the portal and be ready in case something came out. And so far, no sign of trouble appeared before them.

Eventually, they came to learn very little of the portal, it's origins, and it's stability.

But of course, they still stayed neared it, just in case, setting up a post.

[Nothing new has been discovered about the portal, post has been set up]

However, they were not entirely empty handed, they found a new piece of archeotech near the portal.

What is this Archeotech? Pick 1
[ ] A weapon of immense firepower that a techpriest swears played music when fired (RYNO 7 ratchet and clank)
[ ] A weapon that emits a beam of energy that acts as a blade. (No More Heroes Beam Katanas.)
[ ] A device that seems to be capable of producing any material (Fabricators from Gears of war)
