I'm gonna go watch it anyway. Not going to let the fact that it's an Adam Sandler movie ruin my fun. I'll let you guys know what I think of it.

I don't really watch many of his films anyway, so whatever.

I thought you were going to sacrifice yourself for the greater good and report back to us on how the film was, not because you just wanted to watch it.

I don't think you know what that means dude, see, Mediocre means to be of average quality, 90% of anything Adam Sandler is in ranges from merely bad to "Oh god why is this a thing." Hardly what I'd call mediocre.

Besides which, this is based on a short film that fucking predated that episode of futurama. Seriously, the only similarity so far is that it involves 'video game character IRL'. Other than that, they have diddly to do with each other.

Seriously, if your going to insult a movie, insult it for its actual flaws, not for stuff that doesn't actually exist.

Anyways, from all these reviews about how awful this movie was and how Sandler sucks, does anybody think this might finally kill Adam Sandler's career once and for all?

No. There is no justice in the world, as it's expected to make $54 million this weekend.

Given that despite having a 12% rating 94% of people want to see it apparently, we're far enough down the road to a world of idiots that this movie will manage to remain profitable.

Goddamnit. I need somebody to blame. Bush? Bin Laden? Because it's those two's fault that America got started down the road to crazytown at the dawn of the 21st century.
