the devices they can reverse engineer but materials? they would need to know all that we did etc and thats not info we give out to patent the materials just their composition and capabilities, not the process how to get their.

Pretty sure you can't actually patent a material, only the process to produce it. Not exactly a lawyer though.
 
You can patent genes, so I'm pretty sure you can patent a shitload of things you otherwise shouldn't. The problem is enforcing the patent. Anyway the process was patented, and since it is the most economical of them all, even if they make their own improved alloys family they will spend far more money than normal, while the FutureIncorporated branches dealing with metallurgy will sell much cheaper while keeping a very big profit margin.
 
So, just changed job department today. In a sense it felt like I was fired from my job, what felt really bad was that I thought I was doing quite well. Just tell you what I know :cry:

Still have a job, for now. I guess I will need to do my best on my new sector this time around. The silver lining, and talk about a shitty thing to compare myself with, is that there are worse people still employed that got a slap on the wrist so far. Hopefully I don't screw up this time.

Cause i've got this suspicion that if we can we could make it so that we are the founders or one of the founders of FutureIncorporated. So we end up creating the company that we started off working for. What do you think?

    Actual time travel is impossible with the Kaleidoscope. What it does is to hop into a world that's exactly like your own save for the fact that it's an arbitrary amount of time shifted either into the past or future.

    The first prototype was built incredibly quickly all things considered, all thanks to your brilliance. It works as intended, and on the demonstration lane it performed to expectations.
