  • A memory-metal knife bracelet;

  • A case of five burner phones.
 
I have nothing else to say other than to remark that this update was depressing as all fuck.

Out of the idea that HELMETSHRIKE is still her formative years and what had the most impact on her and -451 wasn't really her story the most things have gone, it's about what she's done to have other people grow.

When our daughter kills us it will look dramatic with a few drops of blood on it (the blood will be covering our face in the photo so the audience never sees us smile.)

All the other options are interesting, but I like the idea that as much as Jamelia taught others in the Amalgam, as much as she influenced them- so too was she influenced *by* them. The Jamelia that started that Amalgam wouldn't have been able to come as far as she has if she hadn't changed- hadn't learned to achieve so much more by their influence. Certainly she wouldn't have hit E6- and whatever comes, I feel that those times, those people- that's what she takes away from this life.

Not sure on the gear vote. Leaning towards the Woman.

HELMETSHRIKE had a massive impact on her life and Winston was Jamelia's mentor, I think it's fitting that she would wear a sigil that represents both.

Aleph is probably right that Alice is going to react based on what we bring, with that in mind The Soldier is right out. Going in as if we're preparing for a hard assault is probably the best way to broadcast hostile intentions and thus probably isn't conducive to meeting with Alice peacefully. The Woman could send signals of coming in peace but considering Jamelia's fearsome reputation I doubt it would do anything but backfire.

The Assassin fits Jamelia's archetype while also providing the right level of threat, going without any weapons is a bad idea and going loaded for bear is probably also a mistake. This way Jamelia can defend herself without being too threatening.

Winston isn't Alice's father; Starling was. Jamelia specifically rejected Senex's Euthanatoi induction, calling herself simply "Jamelia Bani", of no Tradition. And we should probably assume Alice may be able to tell what we've come equipped with and respond accordingly - which doesn't necessarily mean "vote Woman", since that could just make her more paranoid of outside threats based on how undereqipped we are.

While we should worry about what message the gear will send to her, I don't really view it as meant for her. It's for whoever decides to come after her and/or JB before, during, or possibly after the meeting. A mother/daughter bonding/escape experience is best done at least somewhat quietly, especially when mom can't bring her friends along. I'm assuming that she's got an NWO hardened/enhanced cell phone as default with all of these, and will be grievously offended if it's not the case. :p

This would probably be the best gear to do spy things and run away in if/when something goes down.
