Overlord aka The Closest You'll Get to a Dungeon Keeper Anime

GOD is it weird watching Overlord, having just read book 14, which they've jumped right into adapting.

I think i DEEPLY hate Renner, knowing what we know. And seeing those poor kids.

Ep 10... poor, poor Zanac. I knew what was gonna happen, but I still felt bad for him.
 
How close are the novels to ending? I haven't checked in with Overlord for a while but last I heard it seemed like it was wrapping up.

Sony Sets U.S. Theatrical Release for Anime Feature ‘Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom’

The much-anticipated anime film, produced by Sony's Crunchyroll, will open opposite Lionsgate's holiday comedy 'The Best Christmas Pageant Ever' on Nov. 8.

Sony will release the film in Imax and premium large formats in Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub. The film will face off on the Nov. 8 weekend against Lionsgate's holiday comedy The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Focus Feature's awards contender Conclave, and Vertical's sci-fi thriller Elevation, starring Anthony Mackie.

Japanese anime has been hitting U.S. multiplexes with growing frequency as the industry's global clout continues to rise. Sony and Crunchyroll released Blue Lock: Episode Nagi stateside on June 28. And Japanese studio giant Toho is set to put out My Hero Academia: You're Next in North America on Oct. 11.
