I figure if were going to be choosing our weapon of choice in RWBY we should be thorough with it since there so important.

In hindsight pairing learning and martial was probably too strong a lure for SV. Guess I should also mention piety and martial are the easiest to raise(especially from low numbers) as they're so central to what you do.

For the record though, you'll get a chance to try and raise your stats during your stay at Beacon. This just determines where the high/low rolls go at start and sets some background for your character.

Saw this quest and thought it was a chance to use a PC in a RWBY tabletop RPG I played in for a while. Probably won't get any votes, but what the hell...

You wield a
[x] Messenger - a hand-and-a-half broadsword with a T-shaped pommel, straight quillons perpendicular to the hilt and a deep fuller groove along the blade, with a receptacle for a Dust crystal at the tang of the blade, near the base of the groove. This lets the wielder infuse the blade with elemental properties depending on the Dust crystal used.
-[] Alternate form - gravitic crossbow. The T-shaped pommel folds out to form a shoulder stock, the quillons rotate 90 degrees perpendicular to the hilt to fold together and form a pistol grip while the fuller groove along the blade forms the channel for a crossbow bolt. The edges of the blade swivel out from the point to form the arms of the crossbow and expose the small gravity array along their inner edges, similar to the antigravity arrays used by airships to fly. This array propels the crossbow bolt when it fires, in effect forcing it to fall forwards at high velocity. In addition to standard crossbow bolts Vincent has used a number of crossbow bolts tipped with ampoules of Dust, either a single type (such as Fire or Ice) or custom mixtures (a mix of Lightning and Wind to create a flash of light)
