    'Eh?'

    'Ah . . . ' You hadn't really put much thought into it, now that she's brought it up. Your old body's . . . well, you'd rather not think about it too much, but the best descriptor for its current state would probably be 'ground meat', perhaps 'chili' if you counted how much . . . abandoning-thought-now. I-in any case, there's not really much hope for restoring it, if any at all. As for alternatives . . .

    'I know I might have asked about it earlier, but now that I think about it, I'm at a loss for what to do about that.' You sigh. Once again, you've rushed headlong into a situation with only half an idea of what to do.

    Akemi-san seems to deflate at this along with you, before a look of dawning realization crosses her face and an 'ah' escapes her mouth.

    She quickly transforms (when did she untransform?) and begins rummaging inside her shield -- at least, you think she's reaching into it for that, considering she's got the face of the shield pointed away from you and her other arm's going increasingly further into i-- "Here it is."

    A composition book's pulled out, and she quickly flicks away the crab that had been clinging to the corner of it before turning it so that you can see the title.

    Probably want to build up some more "friendship points" before we go far harder questions like her past...

    Also, the less RNG or psudo-RNG (we don't know what's in the book, so those non-RNG sub-options might as well be RNG given the information we know), the better, IMO, so long as it still gets the point done.
