Grandpa, was that exactly what happened to the Shepard?
Well, Not exactly…the Ending isn't EXACTLY what happened, that's just the most popular retelling.
We actually don't know how the Shepard defeated the Reapers, all we know is that they did.
You have to understand that a lot of the Details from their time were lost and even if we know the full picture off of what is left, details elude us.
Can't we try to tell the truest version? The Simplest Retellings are often the most correct.
Or the Most embellished son.

Jenkins sighed as he closed the Extranet window on his Omni tool. He still could not believe that he was on the same ship as THE SARA SHEPHARD!
Alright, Jenkins be cool the Commander's busy you can get an autograph later. You're on the clock.
Getting kicked off the bunk computer was not the best way to start the day but it was how it started anyway.
He should probably help someone or at least get out of the way since he did not have any orders right now. He looked around to see if anyone needed help and noticed the Turian Specter going to the cockpit.
Now Jenkins wasn't an expert but Specters don't go on shakedown runs. Something was up and he didn't like it.
Of course, it could be the Turian's pulling strings on the matter. Humans and Turians hadn't gotten along even after the shooting stopped.
He should know...Eden Prime's Turian Diaspora wasn't welcome when they arrived and even then things were tense.
Not that he was a specieist or anything he just had mistrust that was understandable. He looked away from the cockpit to notice that Pressly was making recalibrations. Near him was good old doc Chakwas helping
Trish one of the computer wizards twisted her ankle because she was on the stairs during take-off. Near the doors, Adams was fixing some lights that were flickering.
"Ahh...just another day in the Alliance." You said to yourself.
If only you understood what kind of day it was going to become.
[] Joker and Kaidan seem to be under the watch of the Specter. Maybe seeing what their doing can help you in the future. Plus talking to a Specter will be cool.
[]Doc Chakwas did offer to give you first aid training. Plus she might have some old stories about Captain Anderson.
[] Pressly was in the Skyllian Blitz! Surely he has some amazing stories and advice.
