Harry is very intelligent and wise for his age. Unfortunately, that means he can understand that his 'family' will never love him... which starts him on a dark path, especially after he discovers that he has powers most people do not. Whether he will keep his (shaky) morals or not remains to be seen.

No metamorph powers for Harry or anything like that (except maybe Animagus), no 'staff instead of / in addition to a wand' nonsense, and only 'normal' wands for him, nothing that could conceivably compete with the Elder Wand. No 'Harry is the heir of a founder/all founders/Merlin/etc.'

He also has a really, really long way to go before he can compare to the mastery and power of those like Dumbledore, but he will get there eventually.
