[2][Brother] Of course you knew as well as everyone else that he probably just ran away.
[1][Brother] Despite what everyone else seemed to assume, you knew your brother would not just abandon you.

[1][Gender] You are getting better at pretending to be your brother.
[2][Gender] It had been natural to assume the role of a boy.
[3][Gender] While assuming the role of a boy did not quite fit, girl never did, either - and at least people stopped assuming you were completely incapable as long as they saw you as a boy.

[1][Age] You seem not to have aged more than three years.

[2][Voices] You sit down and wait. People might be able to help you.
[1][Voices] Leaning to the wall, you decide to observe. If it seems like they could be helpful, you can talk to them.
[3][Voices] Walking away appears to be your best option. With how you look, you do not know how people might react.

Identities, crossdressing and familial bonding. All right, you got me.

Really unused to this vote system since I do most of my Questing on the phone, and the amount of options makes it look clunky, but eh, what can you do?

Would it help if I provided a full list of all questions and voting options at the end of the chapter?

May I recommend taking a look at Reincarnation of an Angel (a Worm quest by @Crimson Square)?
Thank you! :)

This just seems to offer the better plot-hooks...

Write-ins!

A 15 year old girl has a higher change to get help than an older one. I think it would be easier to get into society as a teenager that only needs to go to school than as someone that is old enough to work.
On the other hand you're a teenager without any known relatives or identification. Nor knowledge of the local language.
Avoiding to get put into some kind of foster-system clusterfuck could be hard.
(I'm not saying that will happen, just playing devil's advocate.) Heh, Devil.

Indeed, I believe that the age of majority in Austria to be 18 and that the lack of autonomy may prove problematic.

The problem is that we have no way to gain money as we don't have an official identity. So we would be homeless or in danger of getting exploited by human traffickers.

One of Austria's #1 national not legal quirks is not paying taxes for rendered services. Along with it being a country with a huge transit of refugees, one kid who speaks weird German and doesn't have ID won't be too out of place.

It's worth mentioning that there is no obligation of identification, at least not for those with Austrian citizenship. No, I don't know how that is supposed to work either.

Like I said one kid would not be a problem, but if we were an adult we would need to get a job and that is much harder, than 2-3 years of foster system.

I think it would work similar to the German system where you don't need to carry an ID or need to give your information to the police without reason, but if they have one they can take you and check with your home town to get all information.

I also don't see the lack of ID as the greatest problem I think getting the right qualification will be hard enough as we don't qualify for a modern job.

1) Looks interesting, but I think that's less Gender and more "identifies as girl, but doesn't like the systematic prejudices"
2) Seems like it's saying a nothing

Yeah, a teenager actually has a substantial advantage in getting added to a system, in that people are much more willing to assume you are there with no ill intent, and likely through some third party human trafficker(which is not WRONG, given Changeling).

It does have a certain issue with some lack of control, people would be helpfully getting you into foster care, getting you educated and making sure you're fed...but that's mostly helpful to a rootless individual. PROBABLY not getting adopted at Age 15 however, too old for most would be parents, they prefer smaller and cuter than a teen.

Whereas an adult would be asked difficult questions like "What was your last paycheck", "How did you get here" and "Are you wanted for any crimes?".

1) Any non-binary stable (a)gender, actually.
2) Genderfluid, fluctuating between male and female. Or male and anything else. ...not sure whether demiboys would feel like this?

Who said we need a job and a paycheck? Let's stay homeless and become a punk (kinda /j and kinda not, I like the idea of a changeling punk gang)

We're actually an apprentice in a very high skill trade(like, clockmakers are pretty well educated in mathematics and mechanic so they can do their work at all, which is the foundation they'd hammer into an apprentice first of all so they can be trusted to actualy make decisions), so the skills are surprisingly translatable to modern stuff.

The dream was about the first time you came into contact with the Others, not the moment you left the world you knew.
So no, you're not an apprentice anymore.
