Ah.Name:
Unknown (given the nickname 'Shagnasty' by Harry Dresden)

Universe:
The Dresden Files
Powers:
Enhanced Speed: Shagnasty possesses supernaturally enhanced speed, to the point of being several times faster than would be possible for a mortal creature.
Enhanced Strength: Shagnasty possesses significantly supernaturally enhanced strength, easily enough to casually break bones and rip people limb from limb without expending noticeable effort.
Enhanced Toughness: Shagnasty is noticeably more durable than would be possible for a mortal creature, having shown the ability to withstand powerful fire and lightning attacks without visible injury. The exact extent of this is hard to be certain of, as it also possesses extremely powerful regenerative abilities.
Fear Empowerment: The more people fear the Naagloshii- whether the species in general or Shagnasty in particular- the more powerful it becomes in every aspect. Though this boost is minor in the short term, especially in comparison to the powerful Shagnasty already possesses, it is nonetheless very real.
Immense Magical Power: All Naagloshii have truly unfathomable reserves of magical power. In Shagnasty's case, he was able to disrupt the flow of magical energy in a major leyline merely by his presence.
Land-Bound: Naagloshii are only able to truly dwell on specific Native American lands. Whilst fully capable of physically travelling beyond the borders of these territories, doing so both prevents them from naturally regenerating power and creates a constantly drain on their reserves until they return.
Magic: As a result of its immense power and multiple millennia of practice, Shagnasty is an incredibly potent and deadly magic user. This is split as follows.
-Evocation: Rapid, combat-speed magic. Offensively Shagnasty can create bolts and beams of energy from all elements, as well as non-elemental attacks such as acid globules, and do so en-mass and with enough speed as to effectively blanket a large area with attacks. Defensively, it can create shields that can not only stop and defend against physical and magical attacks, but reflect them back at the attacker or other nearby targets. Further, Shagnasty has shown a great aptitude for veils- magic that renders the caster invisibility- and can cast them in an instant and maintain them even when fully engaged in combat.
-Thaumaturgy: Magic that works on the principle of 'as below, so above'. This form of magic requires a link to the target (non-dried blood, hair, a name from a person's own lips, etc), takes time to prepare, is fatiguing to cast, and often also needs props to help the user focus. However, it is not limited by distance or line of sight, and can be used to produce effects that range from tracking down a target, to crippling their senses, to killing them, to knocking out the power to an entire city. Also, due to being targeted using a magical link Thaumaturgy completely bypasses both inherent magical defenses and any active attempt on the victim's part to magically counter it. Sufficiently strong wards can provide protection so long as the target remains within them, however.
Regeneration: All Naagloshii have immense regenerative powers. Although their supernatural durability makes it difficult to determine the exact extent of it, it is known that a Naagloshii Scion (the child of a Naagloshii and a human) was able to regenerate their heart in a matter of seconds after it was destroyed.
Shapeshifting: Naagloshii are freeform shapeshifters, able to shift into the form of any creature they desire in seconds without any loss of control or any need to pause in whatever action they are undertaking. Beyond this, they can also take the forms of creatures that don't exist and that they have merely dreamed up on a whim, allowing them to specialise their bodies to hunt down specific types of prey or to suit specific situations. Shapes taken on by this method always show traits that give away their true natures- gold reptilian eyes and yellow hair or fur- but this problem can be bypassed by shifting into a specific form. Drinking even a single drop of any creature's blood is enough to allow a Naagloshii to transform perfectly into that creature, gaining their knowledge in the process. This mimicry can be taken to such a perfect degree that even details as small as their victim's retina will be replicated, but this is not without risk- transforming so completely into a being can lead to parts of their personality bleeding through.
Skinwalker Acolytes: Like all Naagloshii, Shangasty can take humans as apprentices and pass on to them the teachings of its kind and how to mimic their abilities. Humans so instructed are also known by the name Naagloshii, though their powers are far weaker than that of their teachers.
Thaumavore: Naagloshii have the ability to feed on the magic of their victims. The power of anybody unfortunate enough to be slain by a Naagloshii- regardless of the means of murder- is gained by their killer in its entirety.
Torment Intellectus: If they wish it, a Naagloshii will know the absolute best way to torment and hurt anybody they wish. This ability takes no concentration or power to use; they simply have to consider the matter and they will instantly know what to do. No context is provided by this power- the Naagloshii will not necessarily understand why what they''re doing is the best way to torment their chosen victim- and the steps provided are general rather than specific (i.e. something along the lines 'go to this place, kill these people and cut their heads off, then go to this place and plant the severed heads on stakes'), but this does little to detract from the potency of this ability.
Personality:
Shagnasty is sadistic, ruthless, and intelligent. Its driving motivation is to inflict as much pain and suffering as it can on those unlucky enough to cross its path, both out of sheer enjoyment and in an attempt to break them and prove they are no better than it is. Unlike one might expect, however, this does little to affect Shagnasty's reasoning and judgement; it is cautious and pragmatic, and will both acknowledge the achievements of its foes and retreat without hesitation if it is at a disadvantage.
Biography (Optional):
Shagnasty was originally a semi-divine messenger to the native people of American, entrusted with great power to aid it in accomplishing its task. After a time it was called upon to leave the mortal world, but it refused- and in doing so corrupted its power through its own selfishness. In the millennia since then it has only grown in strength and sunk deeper and deeper in evil, always seeking out new acts of depravity to commit and new people to torment. Most recently it has become part of a mysterious group known only as 'The Circle', an organisation of mixed humans and magical creatures whose true goals and motivations are unknown, save for the fact they heavily involve demons from beyond the walls of reality, known only as 'Outsiders'...
That's the in-universe reaction they tend to get, too.

. . . .
Aww.... . . .
Not accepted. I can get what you are trying to do, but still, just no. Every part of me twists in revulsion at the thought of what that thing is/could do.
Hell, I'd take fucking DIO over this, and he's a amoral sociopath with timestop!
Sorry. Just... *curls up in corner*
No.Aww...
I don't suppose locking Intellectus and the mimicry parts of its shapeshifting behind the reward wall would get it accepted?
Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.
Oh, and also:Oh right, I forgot. Most people don't have Paranet Papers.
FIY, it's rating Strength, Speed, Toughness, and Recovery are all equal.
Every single one is Mythic.
Hell, I'd take fucking DIO unnerfed over this, and he's a amoral sociopath with timestop!

Really.

*Is very tempted to apply as Phantom Blood Dio (post mask) what with Time Stops and Stands in general being hard to balance*

"I, Dio, am confused... and kind of aroused."
Warcraft, right?
Codex Alera, actually. Think super-powered leader of a horde of alien locust, and you'll be along the right lines.Warcraft, right?
As long as there are no units, and you understand that I will make your life hell, I'll allow it.

I'll still lobby for Ethan, but Sam Vs. Dio should have interesting results as well.
It ends with magitech cyborg Maud Pie defeating Vampire Sam in a duel and then killing Dio with Murasama atop a giant zombie treant kaiju thing.
Forget a fight, I want a five page argument between Sam and Dio about whether Dio's abilities come from ancient MesoAmerican acupuncture or nanomachines, both of them absolutely certain they're correct and the other one is delusional.

Even though he's really overpowered I still kinda want to fight him for the honour of the Patch. It's rare for native American stuff to show up in fiction. But he has to many powers to nerf effectively but he would work as a cool degrading boss getting weaker since he can't reach any Native American lands. Guess I'll try an remember it for later.. . . .
