We can never return to the saftey of pure science and the creature comforts of a world dominated by the talking heads at Washington. As such we need a new way of life to reflect the new things we exist alongside, religion has to be thought differently now that thens if not hundreds of Gods exists as a definitive entity as priests and followers alike bring divine light with them wherever they go, the long lived dwarves and elves once relegated to stories now exist side by side with man, and the winds of the arcane flows through all with fervor that never existed before. The world of old cant account for this, it already failed us long before we were cast away why would it preserve us now? If we let the old world dominate us we face the same trappings of it that choked us, poverty, monopoly, needless and senseless division for the profit of a few asinine billionaires, and the slow poisoning of our world for those same asinine men. We are given a new life, the air is breathable, the night sky is alight with thousands of worlds we can see, and vast parks once covering over massive mounds of garbage are now rich with fertile earth. A new nation of NYC shall start and progress with this blessing, with progress and a new generation at her helm!

    • I'm interested in seeing how well trying to astroturf a new culture works out. As much as America was the source of the problem, it's also the people's culture and that contradiction could get awkward. This is ironically more likely to go into a cultural revolution direction than the maoists.

    Yep! It will definitely be a thorny knot to deal with, and the Gordian solution is an appealing but definitely dangerous one

    Calling it now things are gonna get a lot more weird as Hollidays and feast days become a lot more important. The Gods exist after all and you probably wanna keep them happy

    tbh the group y'all chose probably aren't the best for going in to religion stuff (though not many were exactly good for it with Vangaurd)

    You'll be doing alot since you picked that in the intro, and some new religoins might form, but, for example, the potential "old religions from the old world come back" is probably not going to happen

    It still could! But it would find a very unfriendly government to the idea of revitalizing something from the world that was
