'Not' Top Gear coming to Netflix

I thought those only existed on tumblr.
And Twitter. But that's another shitstorm entirely. Returning to topic, I wonder how frequently Netflix is gonna release episodes of this, considering that most people flock there to binge watch stuff, from crime dramas to anime. The audience needs to be sated.

What about us without Netflix? I personally would buy the SHIT out of House of Cars dvds.

Yay! More funny people. Also weird car stuff, but that's not really important.

Yeah, I'm personally hoping there are ways of obtaining it without having to go through netflix as don'y use it and not worth it to sub for a single show.

Apparently, it's coming to light that Clarkson might have actually set up his punching the dude with the guy he hit ahead of time as a way of getting out of his contract. He was apparently trying to get sacked after he found out some of the top-level execs were comparing him unfavorably to Saville (that child molester ex-star) and had excessively enough.

Also, there are reports that the BBC tried to hire him back on after some of the more recent backlash to their new casting choices and the announcements of the new Not! Gear. Apparently, these negotiations fell through when Clarkson caught somebody on the BBC team once again comparing him to Saville.

If any of it is true, it basically explains everything, from why he hit the guy to why he reported himself and why the guy got away with only a split lip. It'd basically be a big Xanatos gambit on his part to drum up hype for himself and force a favorable outcome.

If it's true, since I'm working on a tablet at the moment and I'm having trouble hunting the sources for this down.

Don't live in the UK so I don't get access to to local news sources which might be reporting on Clarkson's off-air antics but given that he managed to get to this point where he basically is the main driver behind the show, we can assume he has a modicum of intelligence and isn't 100% the persona we get on Top Gear.

And even then, his persona on Top Gear has morphed into basically a stereotype - a curmudgeon in his 50's who probably grumbles a lot, is somewhat anti-establishment but ironically votes Conservative because he can't stand the rest.

(Same goes for Hammond and May)

And at this stage, Top Gear is not really a car show for car enthusiasts, its more of a variety show targeted at the mainstream that is about cars.
