Title: "So, This Might Explain a Few Things."

[Attachment: Official Paldean Birth Certificate – Taylor Nemona Florian Hebert]

For those who were wondering why I have battle lust, an obsessive need to get stronger, and an intense drive to prove myself in combat...

Well. Turns out it's hereditary.

Key Details on the Birth Certificate:

  • Name: Taylor Nemona Florian Hebert
  • Place of Birth: Mesagoza, Paldea
  • Parents: Champion Florian (Confirmed League Champion) and Nemona (Paldea's top-ranked battler & battle maniac)
  • Registered at Uva Academy (???!)
  • First Pokémon Listed: Fuecoco (????!??!??!)

So, uh. Yeah. I'm not even from Brockton Bay.

TAYLOR.

YOUR PARENTS ARE THE CHAMPION AND NEMONA.

YOUR ENTIRE EXISTENCE MAKES SENSE NOW.

♦ Bagrat (The Guy in the Know) (Veteran Member)
Posted on March 30, 2025

So. Let me get this straight.

  • You weren't just connected to Pokémon.
  • You weren't just raised around Legendary forces.
  • You are LITERALLY the child of two of Paldea's strongest trainers.

Taylor. This isn't just explaining your battle hunger. This explains why you literally cannot function without a challenge.

YOU WERE BORN INTO A FAMILY WHERE EVERY INTERACTION IS A SPARRING MATCH.

♦ Minerva (Moderator)

"Why does Taylor seek out fights like it's her life's purpose?"

Because it literally is.

♦ ProteusKnight (Verified Cape)
Posted on March 30, 2025

Wait, wait, wait.

Are you telling me that Taylor's actual parents are Florian, the silent protagonist beast of Paldea, and Nemona, the most battle-obsessed trainer in history?!

HER BATTLE ADDICTION IS GENETIC.

♦ Wanderer (Verified Tinker)
Posted on March 30, 2025

Okay but let's talk about the Uva Academy listing.

Taylor.

Did you go to Pokémon school?!

♦ TaylorHebert (Original Poster) (Verified Legendary Avatar) (Gold Badge)
Posted on March 30, 2025

@Wanderer Yeah.

I was in Uva Academy's Battle Studies class before I… well. Ended up here.

I had multiple battle records before I was 10.

♦ Floret (Verified Cape Parent)

Okay but how did you end up in Brockton Bay?!

Did you get Isekai'd? Did you fall through a space-time rift?!

WHAT HAPPENED.

♦ TaylorHebert (Original Poster) (Verified Legendary Avatar) (Gold Badge)
Posted on March 30, 2025

Long story.

Short version? Something pulled me into this world before I could finish preparing.

I had recently become co-champion with my father and I got dropped into a city with no Pokémon and a bunch of people who thought I was normal to introduce them to Pokemon and prepare them for first contact

♦ XxVoid_CowboyxX (Verified Cape Geek)
Posted on March 30, 2025

YOU ARE SECONDARY CHAMPION.

YOU HAVE BEATEN PALDEA'S ELITE FOUR.

AND THEN YOU GOT DROPPED INTO BROCKTON BAY.

♦ Bagrat (The Guy in the Know) (Veteran Member)
Posted on March 30, 2025

This is the worst case of being sent to the wrong universe I have ever seen.

You went from a world where you were built for battle to where people had no idea what you were.

No wonder you spent so much time feeling like you didn't fit in.

♦ Minerva (Moderator)
Posted on March 30, 2025

So. Your whole rage, drive, battle addiction, need to constantly improve and fight stronger opponents?

It's not just trauma.

It's literally because you were raised in a household where fighting is love language.

♦ TaylorHebert (Original Poster) (Verified Legendary Avatar) (Gold Badge)
Posted on March 30, 2025

@Minerva …Yeah.

My mom, Nemona, used to wake me up at 5 AM for battle practice.

Dad didn't talk much, but if I wanted his approval? I had to beat him in a match.

Every time I won, Mom would immediately challenge me again.

Every time I lost, Dad would just nod like I was supposed to do better.

I was never supposed to stop improving.

Then I got sent to a world where nobody knew how to fight like that.

♦ Cedarpoint (Verified Thinker)
Posted on March 30, 2025

You were trained to be an OK Champion and keep the job.

Instead, you were dropped into a world where people expected you to be… normal.

Taylor.

You never stood a chance at being anything less than terrifying.

♦ Wanderer (Verified Tinker)
Posted on March 30, 2025

Okay, but real question:

Does your mom know where you are?!

Because I have this terrifying mental image of Nemona rampaging through dimensions looking for her missing daughter.

♦ TaylorHebert (Original Poster) (Verified Legendary Avatar) (Gold Badge)
Posted on March 30, 2025

@Wanderer

Yeah. She knows now.

I, uh.

I should probably make a separate post about what happened when she found me.

(Spoiler: It involved a LOT of battles.)

TAYLOR.

DID YOUR MOM SHOW UP AND CHALLENGE YOU TO A FIGHT AFTER YEARS OF THINKING YOU WERE LOST?!

♦ TaylorHebert (Original Poster) (Verified Legendary Avatar) (Gold Badge)

...Yes.

And I won.

♦ Bagrat (The Guy in the Know) (Veteran Member)

Taylor.

You literally returned from another dimension and your battle-maniac mother's first response was to test your strength.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MORE PALDEAN RESPONSE IN MY LIFE.

You were never meant to be normal.

Reddit Thread: "Five Days. No Breaks. No Mercy."

Posted by u/TaylorHebertAMA

TaylorHebertAMA:
So, uh… Mom and I kinda… battled for five days straight.

No breaks. No food. No sleep. Just pure, unfiltered combat.

By the end of it, neither of us could feel our bodies for hours.

[Attached Video: "Five-Day Battle – Final Clash"]

Video Description:

  • 0:00 – The camera opens on a barren, utterly destroyed battlefield in the middle of nowhere. The land is scorched, the air shimmers with heat, and everything is either cracked, cratered, or actively on fire.
  • 0:10Taylor and Nemona stand across from each other, barely upright, bodies covered in dirt, bruises, and lingering auras of sheer power.
    • Their eyes are wild. Their smiles are pure battle lust.
  • 0:30 – Nemona: "Five days. No interruptions."
    • Taylor: "One last clash?"
    • Nemona: "One last clash."
  • 1:00 – They charge at each other at full power. The sheer force of their blows sends shockwaves ripping through the air, cracking the ground even further.
  • 1:30Final attacks collide. A blinding explosion of pure energy engulfs everything.
  • 2:00 – The dust settles. Both of them collapse at the same time, neither able to continue.
  • 2:30 – The camera shakes as Arven walks into frame, horrified.
    • "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU TWO???"

Reddit Thread "Mew not only the ancestor of all Pokemon but also the Eldritch Personification of Genesis and Natural Selection"

Posted by u/TaylorHebertAMA

[r/PokemonLore] [r/Parahumans] [r/EldritchBiology]

u/TaylorHebertAMA [OP]

Alright, I'm just going to say it: Mew is not just the ancestor of all Pokémon—it's the eldritch personification of Genesis and Natural Selection.

EDIT: If you're expecting a "cute" take on Mew, I suggest you leave now.

1. Creation is Constant—But So is Destruction

Mew does not see life as sacred—it sees it as raw material for evolution.
If a species is dying, Mew doesn't mourn—it introduces a mutation.
If an ecosystem is failing, Mew may erase a species overnight and replace it.

Example: You wake up one day, and every common bird Pokémon has been replaced by something similar, but better. You don't even notice what's missing. That's Mew's work.

2. No Attachment to Any One Form of Life

Mew does not "favor" humans or Pokémon.
If humans go extinct, Mew will not care.
If Pokémon disappear, it will simply create something else.

Example: If an entire civilization begged for Mew's protection, it would just tilt its head, blink, and move on.

3. Joyful, Childlike… and Utterly Alien

Mew seems playful and innocent, but that is just how it experiences creation.
It might giggle while watching a new Pokémon species devour an ecosystem.
It does not do this out of malice—it simply finds the process interesting.

Example: You plead for Mew to resurrect an extinct Pokémon. It refuses. "That form has already failed," it says, before giving you a new Pokémon instead.

4. It Creates Without Considering Consequences

Mew introduces Pokémon and mutations just to see what happens.
It does not fix its mistakes—it lets nature sort them out.
If a Pokémon is too powerful, too aggressive, or too fragile, Mew will watch it fail without intervention.

Example: What if Mew accidentally made a Pokémon that could unravel reality itself? It wouldn't stop it—it would just watch and see if it adapts or dies.

5. Selective Favoritism—Survival is Earned

If a species shows adaptability, Mew might give it an advantage.
If a species stagnates, Mew may abandon it entirely.
This is not kindness—it is simple evolutionary logic.

Example: Mew loves Pokémon that adapt—like Ditto, Eevee, and the Paradoxes. But it has zero patience for creatures that refuse to change.

6. A God That Can Erase You Without Malice

Mew does not commit genocide—it just stops things from existing.
No hatred, no wrath—just quiet, calculated extinction.
If it decides humans are no longer useful, it will simply phase them out.

Example: If Mew wants you gone, it won't destroy you. It will simply make sure your descendants aren't human anymore.

7. Mutation as a Gift and a Curse

If Mew finds you interesting, it may bless you with mutations.
It does not care if these changes bring pain, suffering, or isolation.
To Mew, you are just another experiment.

Example: You pray to Mew for strength. You wake up with extra limbs, psychic perception, and a completely new metabolism. Congratulations.

8. It Does Not Fear Death—Because Death is Just Change

Extinction means nothing to Mew—it just creates something new.
When something dies, it does not mourn—it just reshapes what remains.
If you beg Mew to save you, it might just blink, confused as to why you think you matter.

Example: You ask Mew to prevent a disaster. It does nothing. After everything is gone, it creates something new in the ruins.

9. Uncontrollable, Unpredictable, and Unfathomable

Mew follows no rules—not the laws of Pokémon, not the will of gods, not even its past decisions.
It may remake the world overnight or leave it unchanged for centuries.
If it speaks, its words might be nonsense—or a revelation. Sometimes both.

Example: Mew looks at you and whispers: "You are a bridge that has already collapsed." You have no idea what that means. But in five years, you realize it was right.

10. It is Genesis, But It is Not Kind

Mew does not create out of love—it creates because that is what it does.
It does not destroy out of malice—it removes what has failed.
It does not care for individual beings—it only cares that something continues.

Example: You meet Mew and ask for its favor.
It looks at you. Then it replaces you with something better.

Conclusion: The Merciless Hand of Evolution

Mew is not good.
Mew is not evil.
Mew is pure, unrelenting change.

✔ To those who embrace evolution, Mew is a gift.
✔ To those who resist evolution, Mew is a nightmare.
✔ To those who believe life has intrinsic value, Mew is incomprehensible.

It does not love.
It does not hate.

It only creates.
It only evolves.
It only moves forward.

[TOP COMMENT] u/ProfessorKukuiIRL

TAYLOR.

✔ MEW DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HUMANITY.
✔ MEW WILL JUST MAKE NEW THINGS.
✔ "YOU ARE A BRIDGE THAT HAS ALREADY COLLAPSED."

EDIT: WHAT DOES THAT MEAN, TAYLOR. WHAT DOES IT MEAN.

u/PokemonLeagueOfficial [Verified]

We are officially requesting that Mew never be contacted again.

EDIT: Champion Cynthia is currently staring at a wall in silence. We do not know how to help her.

u/AishaDoesntMiss [Verified]

So you're telling me:

✔ Mew creates new species just to see what happens.
✔ Mew would erase humans without a second thought.
✔ Mew would change YOU just because it finds you interesting.

TAYLOR, THIS IS WORSE THAN ANYTHING YOU HAVE EVER POSTED.

EDIT: WHY DOES IT SOUND LIKE MEW HAS DONE THIS BEFORE.

u/PRT_Lurker_Official [Verified PRT Account]

Miss Hebert, we have several concerns:

  1. Does Mew have an ultimate goal, or is it just constant iteration?
  2. If it considers someone an "improvement," will it replace others with them?
  3. How much of history has Mew rewritten?

EDIT: Director Piggot has officially declared, "I refuse to acknowledge this."

u/TaylorHebertAMA [OP]

  • Yes, Mew is an eldritch god of evolution.
  • No, it does not care about you.
  • Yes, this is canon.
  • No, I am not sorry.

EDIT: This is why you shouldn't meet your gods.

Reddit Update: "An Excerpt from the Iter Aevum"

u/Emissary_of_Stars 📖🐉 | Posted 1 hour ago

Felt like dropping something interesting today.

This is an excerpt from the Iter Aevum, a sacred text used by the priests of Koraidon and Miraidon. It's one of the oldest surviving religious texts dedicated to a Legendary Pokémon.

Excerpt from the Iter Aevum

Then lo! I saw, 'mid dust and dread,
The Lord of Dead Earth crowned in lead.
Above the barren ground, he soared,
His hollow eyes with sorrow roared.
I raised my voice in trembling breath,
"What fate may turn this march of death?"
But as I spoke, the Serpent vast,
Of iron wrought, in shadow cast,
Did turn to me with gaze so grim,
And sorrow's tide o'ertook my limbs.

"Canst thou outrun the fleeing land?
Shall all the fish the sea withstand?
Or birds outfly the boundless sky?
Nay, mortal—time none may defy."

Context & Clarification

  • Modern priests of Koraidon and Miraidon still study the Iter Aevum.
  • Yes, Pokémon priesthoods are still active. They've never stopped existing.
  • Yes, there are priests for other Legendaries and Mythicals too. Some are small groups, some have massive followings.

Figured some of you lore nerds would appreciate this.

HOLY HELL. This passage is beautifully structured. The repetition of fate and inevitability… incredible.

LINE-BY-LINE BREAKDOWN:

1️⃣ "The Lord of Dead Earth, crowned in lead."
— This is Miraidon. The "Dead Earth" suggests a ruined, post-catastrophe world. "Crowned in lead" could refer to radiation, metal, or oppressive rule.

2️⃣ "Above the barren ground he soared, His hollow eyes with sorrow roared."
— Miraidon flies over a devastated world. Its "hollow eyes" and "sorrow" imply a tragic past.

3️⃣ "The Serpent vast, Of iron wrought, in shadow cast."
Miraidon again. The "serpent" imagery likely references its elongated body. "Iron wrought" confirms its mechanical nature. "Shadow cast" could symbolize how its existence is tied to the ruin.

4️⃣ "Canst thou outrun the fleeing land? Shall all the fish the sea withstand?" Or birds outfly the boundless sky?Nay, mortal—time none may defy."— This stanza is brilliant. It's Miraidon stating that time itself is inevitable. You cannot escape entropy, just as fish cannot stop the tides.

This is a deeply existential piece of scripture that portrays Miraidon as a force of time, decay, and sorrow.

For those asking:

"Iter Aevum" translates from Latin as "The Journey Through Time."

This entire text is literally about facing the passage of time and realizing it cannot be stopped. Absolutely haunting.

Reddit Thread: "Why Legendary Pokémon Are Not Your Friends"

Posted by u/MewAndImproved – 1 hour ago

Hey, since this keeps coming up in DMs and comments every time I post about transforming into a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon, I figured I'd clarify a few things.

Sabrina trained me. I've been training in Psychic disciplines since before I could walk, and my connection to Pokémon—especially Legendary and Mythical ones—isn't just biological or spiritual. It's conceptual.

So here's the truth:

Legendary and Mythical Pokémon aren't just powerful. They ARE power.

They are Concepts. Literal personifications of fundamental forces of existence. The universe shaped itself around them, not the other way around.

  • Dialga is not "the god of time." Dialga is time.
  • Giratina is not "the ruler of the Distortion World." Giratina is distortion.
  • Xerneas isn't just tied to life. It is life—as a principle.
  • Mephagic (yes, it's real) is magic, disease, and toxin. Not just a master of them—their source.

They are not "benevolent beings" with an interest in helping humanity. They are utterly indifferent to mortals. You are a mayfly in a hurricane, and if they glance at you with interest, it's probably bad.

Why Does This Matter?

Because humans—especially Psychics—are linked to the mental plane.

And the mental plane is where the Concepts echo.

When an untrained person glimpses even the shadow of what a Legendary truly is, the result is usually madness, spiritual fragmentation, or agonizing psychic overload.

We have records in the Pokémon world's history of people who became babbling husks, repeating fragmented truths about eternity, distortion, or the "color that cannot exist."

And if Psychics—even skilled ones—aren't prepared to shield themselves, that conceptual brightness can burn them alive from the inside out.

I've seen it happen. Sabrina's seen it happen. It's why she trained me relentlessly.

I carry all types now. I can use all Legendary and Mythical signature moves. I can channel them. But I can only survive it because my mind is wrapped in layers of psychic defense, spiritual filtration, and absolute focus.

I say this not to brag, but to warn:

Just because something looks beautiful, doesn't mean it's safe. Just because something is awe-inspiring, doesn't mean you're meant to understand it.

TL;DR:

  • Legendary/Mythical Pokémon are Concepts given form.
  • They are not your friends.
  • Exposure to their true nature can cause madness, pain, or death.
  • Psychics are at higher risk, not lower.
  • If you're ever in the presence of one, and you feel something pulling at your mind? Run.

Stay safe. Stay grounded. Don't look directly into the abyss unless you've got a damn good teacher.

—Taylor

So this confirms that the stories of people going mad from just being near Giratina's domain or hearing Kyogre's dreams are legit??

🔼 u/NotJustCoolLore – 17.5k upvotes
This changes the tone of so much Pokémon lore. They're not just ancient beasts or divine spirits. They're the skeletal framework of the universe itself.

This is now classified as a Level 5 Conceptual Hazard. Please report any strange dreams, psychic echoes, or compulsive thoughts about nonexistent geometry to your local PRT office.

Sabrina raising Taylor and preparing her to walk through the Conceptual Storm of the Divine is the most metal parenting story I've ever heard.

🔼 u/MewAndImproved (OP) – 13.2k upvotes
Y'all are sweet. But seriously—respect the Concepts. I don't fear them, but I revere them. You don't survive channeling Oblivion Wing or Origin Pulse without discipline.

Also yes, Sabrina is terrifying and perfect.
