"Talking"

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In this world, Ki is the basis of life. It is the internal energy flowing within every person - whether it be a human or a beast. The very life force that flowed within every person.

However, despite every being in every universe possessing Ki, only a very small amount of them will every be able to control it. In fact, it would be more likely to win the lottery jackpot multiple times than to learn how to harness Ki.

That ability was kept to a very small, very dangerous, number of people. Martial artists who devote their entire lives to battle. Aliens that were born on war-stricken planets. Intergalactic tyrants with access to enough power to destroy entire planets at birth.

But, for the very few beings who do manage to learn how to control Ki, their very reality is destroyed. Things that were once farfetched dreams and fantasies become the norm.

The power of flight. The ability to access superhuman strength. Speed that no normal human could hope to match. Deadly techniques that can destroy mountains with ease.

Ki allowed humans to evolve - to become superhuman. Without the ability to control Ki, no normal human could ever hope to match a Ki-enhanced one. They could spend their entire lives training endlessly, working harder than anyone in history, and still come up short.

Humans are limited. Their bodies have a limit - a peak. The human peak. A state of being where a human's body is pushed to the absolute limit. There are no more gains to be had - you can't become faster. You can't become stronger. You can't jumped higher. You can't throw an object further. You can't improve at your sport. You've reached the peak of the mountain.

Very few humans have ever reached this peak. It should be the ultimate accomplishment - the type of human who only comes around once in a generation, who exceeds the boundaries of what was believed to be possible. It should be the ultimate accomplishment.

And yet, it's not. Because even if you've reached the peak of humanity - even if you can run a 100m dash in 9.5 seconds, or bench press 1,400 pounds, or deadlift over a thousand pounds - even if you can break the barrier of the human body and perform superhuman feats, you are not the best.

In fact, you're not even better than the 8-year old kid who can casually lift up entire cars with one hand. Why? Because you don't have access to Ki.

In this world, the peak of pure human, non-Ki-enhanced strength is Hercule Satan. An unrivaled world champion, who in a normal world would be like a god compared to normal humans.

And so, how would Hercule Satan fare against three spear-wielding demons, all of which are being enhanced with magic?

He'd die pathetically.

Luckily, Gray isn't Hercule Satan.

Even luckier, Gray isn't a human.

"P-Please forgive us! We have no intention of going agains-" Tamir tried to reason, looking worriedly at Gray, but was interrupted.

"Shut up, rat!" Kalawarna hissed out, the woman swinging her arm out wildly. The woman was obviously still drunk, as she stumbled forward slightly while she launched her light spear at Gray.

Gray was a Saiyan. A race of warriors who train their bodies to the edge of death, become stronger, and then do it again. A race of warriors with no bodily limits.

And so, Gray casually sidestepped the light spear with a speed that no human, even one who reached the peak of their non-Ki enhanced potential, could hope to match.

"I'll give you one more chance," Gray hummed, smirking at the three women attacking him, "You're all hot. Really hot - so stop now, and I won't beat your ass."

"Shut up, monkey!" Gray blinked at Raynare's words, watching the woman shoot forward at him with both spears raised.

Are demon's racist?

However, being a Saiyan didn't mean you were exempt from using Ki. A Saiyan's body was far stronger than a human's, and it didn't have the same limits, but it wasn't invincible. Ki made it possible to increase your power multiple times over, enhancing you're already insane physical body and making it even stronger.

And so, for someone like Gray, who had trained with Ki and constantly used it to enhance his abilities during his time in this world, having his Ki stripped away was a harsh nerf. While he was far stronger than a normal human, he still only had access to a fraction of his usual combat power.

But that's more than enough for these three.

As Raynare lunged forward at him, she threw one spear directly at his head, the other lashing outwards at his gut. In response, Gray casually tilted his head, letting the spear fly past him. Then, he slammed his fist upward, making contact with the other spear. Just as it did earlier, the spear easily broke into fragments of light and dissipated from the force of his punch.

"Well, I tried," Gray grinned, going on the offense as he shot forward. In a split second, he was in front of Raynare, his face mere centimeters from hers as he stared into her wide eyes, "I'm not nice enough to give you a third chance."

His fist soared forward, slamming into her gut.

27,000HP! (425,975/452,975)

The woman let out a pained grunt as she was flung backward, her body folding through the air and then slamming into the ground harshly.

"R-Ray!" Mittelt yelled, looking at her friend and then turning back to Gray with a glare. She raised her own spear, launching it forward at Gray with a yell, "You bastard!"

"Too slow," Gray grinned, easily dodging the spear. As he did, he lunged forward, appearing in front of Mittelt in an instant. Her eyes widened, and she raised her hand as another light spear appeared in it, but she didn't get the chance. Gray's fist slammed into the side of her face, a loud crack ringing out as it did.

44,000HP! (158,925/202,925)

Mittelt was sent flying back from the force, the woman's body slamming into the ground and then rolling for a moment before stopping.

Kalawrna was apparently smarter than the other two, or was just too drunk to try and properly speak, as she didn't loudly insult him when she lunged at him with a massive light spear. Her sneak attack didn't matter, as Gray easily ducked under it. His fist shot forward, slamming directly into Kalawarna's unprotected stomach and sending her stumbling backward - where she promptly fell onto her large, round, ass again.

32,000HP! (178,225/215,700)

"Wanna try again?" Gray asked with a raised eyebrow, looking at the three downed women. His question was meant to be sarcastic, but apparently Raynare didn't pick up on that.

"Y-You monkey! I'll kill you!" Raynare shouted out angrily as she stood back up. She tensed her legs and then shot upwards, her large wings letting out a single flap as she shot roughly 50 feet into the air.

"She's not stupid, at least," Gray hummed appreciatively as Raynare floated above him. He didn't have access to his Ki, so he wouldn't be able to go up after her if she went into the air. At this point, she would be able to chuck light spears at him until he either fled or died.

At least, that's how it looked from her perspective. Unfortunately for Raynare, what you think is going to happen isn't usually what actually happens.

"Die, monkey!" Raynare hissed out, raising her hands and forming two more light spears. She chucked them down at him, and then two more formed. Kalawarna and Mittelt seemed to agree with her tactic, as the two women flapped their wings as well and shot up into the sky next to her.

"Not bad," Gray muttered, dodging to the side as the two spears slammed into the floor next to him. As they did, the ground shook lightly, and a small crater formed in the ground.

The spears aren't weak - without my Ki, it might actually hurt a bit if I take a direct hit.

Gray was forced out of his thoughts as he had to dodge again, another light spear slamming into the ground near him, "Go and hide, Tamir!"

Luckily, Tamir didn't need to be told twice. He quickly dashed to the side, running in between two buildings as he got out of the open street.

Now that Raynare, Kalawarna, and Mittelt were all floating overhead, the rain of light spears increased. The girl's arms blurred, spear after spear sent down at Gray as the sky became a massive shower of pure light.

Not bad, but not good enough.

Even without his Ki, the spears were still far too slow for him to be in any actual danger. He dashed forward, easily dashing through the spears as he got directly under the three women. Then, he tensed his legs.

"I-Is he…" He heard Mittelt mutter, the girl's eyes going wide as Gray stopped. Then, he pushed off the ground, a crater forming under him from the pure force of his legs. He shot upwards, leaping into the air.

"N-No way-" Raynare was cut off as she let out a surprised grunt. Gray had leaped all the way up, soaring almost 50 feet into the air as his hands wrapped around her ankles.

"Should've stopped when I told ya to." Gray grinned, staring up at Raynare's shocked face as he gripped her ankles tightly, "Let's hope this doesn't ruin your cute face."

"W-Wait…" Raynare breathed out, hastily trying to form another light spear, but she didn't have time. Gray shifted his weight mid-air, yanking his arms down and literally ripping the winged-woman out of the sky.

"N-NOOOOOOOOOO-" Raynare's screamed trailed off as they plummeted down. As they approached the hard street below, Gray's face steeled, his teeth gritting in effort. He forced all of his strength into his arms, swinging them down harshly as he literally slammed Raynare into the street.

Her back hit first, slamming flat into the ground. As she did, her eyes went wide, her mouth opening as spit and blood flew out from the impact.

325,000HP! (125,975/452,975)

A huge crater shot outwards from the impact, cracks spiderwebbing outward from her downed body. The ground shook lightly from the impact, a nearby building seemingly tilting slightly as its foundation shifted.

"Y-y… you… m-mon…" Raynare spit out, her words slurred as she stared up into the sky. Her body tensed, and her arms slowly shifted, looking like she was going to push herself out of the crater. Then, abruptly, they relaxed.

Her eyes glazed over, and her body slumped into the crater as unconsciousness claimed her.

"R-Ray!" Mittelt shouted out again, the girl's face looking like a mixture of worry and fear as she stared at Raynare's unconscious body, "F-Fuck! What do we-"

"You join her," Gray interrupted as the petite girl tried to ask her blue-haired comrade a question. He tensed his legs, and an instant later was shooting upwards at the remaining two demons.

I'll have to be gentler this time. Don't wanna kill them by accident.

"D-Don't!" Was all Kalawrna could spit out, the woman throwing a light spear at him as he shot into the air. He merely slammed his first into the front of it, watching as the spear shattered around his knuckles and didn't slow him down in the slightest.

A split second later, and he had reached the two women. His arms lashed out, each hand wrapping around one of their ankles as he smirked up at them.

"P-Pleas-" Mittelt started, but was interrupted as gravity took effect. It pulled down Gray's body, and he yanked on their legs, bringing them down with him. Just as with Raynare, he lashed his arms downwards as they approached the ground, slamming both of their backs into the rocky floor below.

As they slammed into the ground, blood and spit flew into the air as their mouths were forced open from the impact.

127,000HP! (31,925/202,925)

119,000HP! (59,225/215,700)

As their bodies slammed into the road, two more massive craters formed, stretching out into the street. The ground shook lightly, though the impact wasn't as severe as when Raynare had been ripped out of the sky.

Mittelt and Kalawerna put up less of a fight than Raynare, as both women's eyes glazed over and they slumped into unconsciousness instantly.

Gray hummed appreciatively, looking down at the three unconscious women.

I know they were just essentially grunts - literal cannon fodder - but that was still easy. I didn't even take any damage.

He felt a bit more confident about staying on Yardrat now - if these three were any indication of how strong the demons here were, then he wouldn't have much trouble.

Gray blinked as he glanced around the street, looking at the destruction that his attacks had caused.

"You mind that I destroyed the road, Tamir?" Gray asked, glancing over his shoulder with a raised eyebrow. Tamir didn't answer, instead stumbling out of his hiding place with wide eyes.

"Y-You… you beat them…" He muttered, his eyes looking at Gray with slight awe.

"Obviously," Gray hummed, becoming a bit arrogant as he took pride in his easy defeat of the three demons, "I told ya I'm not weak."

"I-Indeed," Tamir merely nodded, walking forward and looking down at the unconscious demons, "...I hate to take anyone's life, but they will cause trouble for us if we let them live. They will tell their leader about you being here."

"Nah, we're not killing them," Gray said decisively, ignoring Tamir's curious look.

Gray grinned, staring down at the three gorgeous women.

They're way too sexy to just die like this. I have a better idea.

"Talking"

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Alright, lay it on me," Gray hummed, staring at Tamir from across the small table in between them.

After dealing with the three demons, Tamir brought Gray to the house that his friend lived at. Said friend wasn't there at the moment, but Tamir said he'd show up soon enough.

The room was small, with just a table and a couple of chairs, along with a rather poorly made bed sitting in the corner.

It's like one of those 'budget' apartments in a big city.

"Ah… should… are they…" Tamir started, unsure of how to word his question as he wordlessly gestured at the three demon women slumped in the corner of the room. They were leaning against the wall, all three of them still unconscious.

"They're fine," Gray waved him off.

"W-What if they wake up?" Tamir asked worriedly, glancing nervously at the three women.

"They won't do anything," Gray merely answered, "There's this thing called 'being scared of getting your ass kicked again' that'll make sure they don't try anything."

Tamir looked at him doubtfully, glancing between Gray and the three women again, but then nodded reluctantly, "...Alright, if you say so. How much do you know about this planet?"

"Explain everything assuming I know nothing," Gray answered, and Tamir nodded in response.

"This planet is called Yardrat, and the native race is called Yardratians," Tamir started to explain, "There are two main types of Yardratians - pink-skinned and green-skinned. You likely noticed them when you first arrived in this city. Anyone else who you meet on this planet is probably not native, and is likely a demon."

"Just as Saiyans are a warrior race, our people are also trained fighters," Tamir continued, "However, while your strength centers around your physical power and body, ours relies on energy-based techniques. Instead of overpowering our opponents, we outsmart them."

"Our people have always been very welcoming to guests from other planets. We take pride in sharing our techniques, and in learning from others," Tamir continued, his face starting to drop as shadows covered his eyes, "However, that sharing nature has ended up becoming our downfall. Around 100 rotations ago, or about one 'year' as I believe you Saiyans would refer to it, a gate opened."

"A gate?" Gray asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

What the hell does that mean?

"Yes, a connection between worlds. Or, more specifically, between realms," Tamir continued, his expression growing even darker, "A connection between Yardrat and the demon realm."

Ah, that's how the demon got here.

"At first, we were welcoming to the demons who came out," Tamir continued to explain, "We showcased our energy techniques, and in return, they showcased their 'magical' ones. While they lacked the energy to utilize ours, and we lacked the magical power to utilize theirs, our relationship was friendly."

"Then… after 10 rotations, they showed their true intentions," Tamir grunted, his face becoming steely, "While we were acting with friendly intentions, they were acting with devious ones. While under the guise of attempting to learn our techniques and improve their lackluster energy pools, they instead used that knowledge to devise a technique of their own. A technique to reverse the flow of our energy."

The trick barrier that's causing recoil damage when I try to use my Ki.

"With our main form of combat stripped away, we stood no chance against their onslaught," Tamir gritted out, his pink knuckles turning white as he gripped his hand tight, "In an instant, the hundreds of demons who were once our friends turned against us. Thousands more came through the gate, and our planet was conquered without any resistance."

"Weaklings, such as myself, were lucky," Tamir spit out, his fist clenching even harder, "We were forced into the outskirts of the city as demons took over our homes, with many Yardratians forced to live on the streets as demons claimed entire buildings for themselves. However, that is a preferable outcome compared to the fate that our powerful leaders and elders are enduring."

"The 'fate worse than death' that you mentioned?" Gray asked questioningly, and Tamir nodded.

He opened his mouth to speak again, but then stopped as there was rustling outside the door behind him, "...that must be my friend. He will be able to explain this better than I can."

The door opened, and a pink Yardratian stepped through. He looked a bit different than the other pink Yardratians Gray had seen - mainly because he looked crippled.

As he walked through the door, he stepped through unevenly, looking as if he was stumbling forward. He was much taller than Tamir, standing more than a foot taller and overall looking wider than most Yardratians. He also had one eye shut, his eyelid closed over it as his other eye stayed open, along with long whiskers that denoted his 'elder' status.

He also looked very uneven - one leg was noticeably large and muscular, while the other looked similar to the normal skinny and small Yardratian leg. His arms were the same, and his chest seemed to jut out unnaturally while his stomach was sucked in.

"...who is this?" The new Yardratian asked Tamir, looking wearily at Gray as he stepped through the door. He glanced over at the three unconscious women slumped in the corner, his body stiffening slightly as he readied himself to fight.

"A visitor. He is not a demon - he's a Sayian," Tamir explained, and the other man's eye widened as he looked over at Gray, "His name is Gray. Gray, this is Tyrab."

"A pleasure to meet you, Saiyan," Tyrab grinned, nodding at him in greeting, "It's been a while since I have seen one of your kind. Why is he here?"

"He intends to go against the demon," Tamir answered, then cut off Tyrab as the man's smile dropped and he opened his mouth, "Trust me, I have tried my best to convince him otherwise. At this point, all I can do is give him as much information as possible to assist him."

Tyrab closed his mouth, glancing over at Gray, who merely nodded to confirm Tamir's words. He sighed, then limped over to a chair sitting next to Tamir and sat down.

I think Tamir was exaggerating a bit.

"I don't know if I'd call this a 'fate worse than death,'" Gray mused, gesturing to Tyrab's condition, "I'd much rather be in that state than dead."

He's a little bit fucked up, but so what? I'd rather walk with a limp than be fuckin' dead.

"...I am one of the lucky ones," Tyrab grunted, gesturing down at his body, "I was merely crippled and then released. My body was… intensely incompatible."

"Incompatible?" Gray asked, looking curiously at him.

"How much do you know about magic?" Tyrab asked instead of answering his question, leaning forward to stare at Gray with his sole functioning eye.

"Nothin'," Gray replied bluntly. He knew a bit more than 'nothing,' but now was as good a time as ever to get as much information as possible.

"...while it can be used in a similar way to energy, it is not the same," Tyrab grunted again, "Many energy techniques can be replicated with magic power if the wielder is skilled enough, and many similar techniques can be created. However, while inner energy is within every living being, magical power is not."

Yeah, I know that. I have a fuckin' useless skill right now because of that.

"Most powerful magic wielders are born with it, but not all. Through many hundreds of rotations of work, anyone can develop what is called 'magic power' within their body," Tyrab continued to explain, "But, while anyone can develop it, those who aren't born with it will have difficulty increasing their magic power. Unlike energy, which the average body is very susceptible to gaining more of, magic power is intrusive."

Well, that's not a good sign for me. Hopefully, the system can help me out with increasing mine once I unlock it.

"Unfortunately, the demon didn't take over our planet just to make us do manual labor or to add to his empire," Tamir spit out, his face hard, "He did it to run tests on us. To experiment with our bodies."

Oh. That doesn't sound good - this might be a bit more serious than I was thinking.

"The demon in charge is attempting to find a way to artificially increase magical power," Tyrab explained, "His method could be considered 'process of elimination' - that is to say, he's trying every method he can think of, consequences be damned. That's why he's testing on us - he doesn't want to kill thousands of demons through his trials, but he has no qualms about killing thousands of our kind."

…Yeah, this sounds pretty fucked up.

"What do you know about the demon himself?" Gray asked, clarifying further at Tyrabs questioning look, "The one in charge. I'll be blunt - I appreciate all this backstory shit, but I don't need it. I need to know about the one I'll be fighting. His techniques, how powerful he is, his fighting style. Shit like that."

"Not much. He was not one of the original demons to arrive, as he came once the planet was already in their control. I've never seen him, nor has he ever been involved in a fight since he arrived," Tyrab answered, apparently not taking offense to Gray's blunt logic.

"I did not tell you all of that for no reason," Tamir spoke, bringing Gray's attention back to him, "There is a reason for you to know all of this. Tyrab, I witnessed Gray take down three powerful demons easily on our way here, even without his Ki."

Tamir gestured to the unconscious trio of women in the corner, then continued, "He may be the best chance we will get at taking down these demons. Please, give him the serum."

Gray blinked at his words.

The serum? That doesn't sound ominous at all… nope, not a single bit.

It sounded very ominous.

"...No way," Tyrab grunted negatively, looking at Tamir with a serious gaze, "I don't want to ever use it, much less on a visitor."

"He's our best shot. A chance like this might not come again!" Tamir countered, his gaze equally as serious.

"Then giving it to him might end our best shot," Tyrab shot back, "If you truly think he stands a chance even without using his energy, then that's all the more reason not to give it to him. It's too risky!"

"Um… I'm still right here," Gray interrupted blandly as the two men talked about him as if he wasn't sitting right in front of them, "Wanna tell me what this 'serum' is?"

"..." Tyrab didn't respond, but finally opened his mouth as Tamir looked at him pleadingly, "...The demons used serums to forcefully inject magical power into our bodies. That's why my body looks like this - it couldn't handle the amount."

Tyrab grunted as he finished his sentence, standing up and stumbling over to the corner of the room. He placed his palm on the wall and then winced as he seemingly forcefully used Ki. A small compartment in the wall swung open, revealing a hole within it.

"Demons are cruel and lack morality. It's in their nature. This is both unfortunate for our people, but also fortunate," Tyrab spit out, reaching his hand into the hole in the wall. He pulled out an object - a small vial of purple liquid with a needle on the end for injection.

"They are careless and reckless. Even while committing such atrocities, they have no problem holding massive parties and celebrations in the streets of our cities," Tyrab continued.

So, that crowd I saw earlier really was a party. These three were coming from it.

Gray glanced idly at the three women slumped against the wall.

"...While I was held captive to be experimented on, they took no precautions. They are overly arrogant - confident that without our energy we can never go against them," Tyrab's face hardened, and he sat back down in his chair, showcasing the serum to Gray, "I took note of everything I heard, and everything I saw, with the hope that I could use it against them if I managed to escape. Then, those bastards just released me. So…"

Tyrab grinned widely, the smile looking slightly psychotic on the Yardratian's face, "While there was a city-wide party happening, and the already poor security was even more lax, I broke in and stole this. It's a serum of pure magical power."

Gray's lips twitched upward as he saw where this was going.

Looks like I'll be getting MP earlier than I thought.

"This is what they use during their experiments. My body could only handle four injections before they considered it a failure - one was marked '10,' the next '20,' then '40,' and finally '50,'" Tyrab continued, his grin growing even wider and more maniacal, "Each one increased my risk of death, and crippled me even further. But, it also made me stronger - increasing my magical power with every injection. I don't know what the numbers mean, but if my body had been able to handle them… even the '50' injection would've been enough for me to take down my captor."

Tyrab stared at the serum in his hand, his sole eye twitching slightly as he did, "So, when I broke in, I took the strongest one I could find. If your body can't handle it, you'll die in an instant. But, in the one-in-a-million chance that you succeed…"

Tyrab trailed off, his grin growing even wider as he turned around the vial, showcasing the number written on the back: 1,000,000

"You'll be the strongest magic wielder in the universe!"

"Nah, I'm good."

"...W-What?" Tyrab stuttered out, his grin faltering as he looked at Gray.

"As in, I'll pass. I don't wanna take the serum," Gray stated again, watching as Tyrab started to flounder.

"W-What do you mean?! I thought you wanted to take down the demon!" He yelled loudly as he stood from his chair.

"Don't raise your voice, Tyrab!" Tamir scolded, and the elder Yardratian cleared his throat as he sat down again.

"I do," Gray merely nodded, "Which is why I'm not taking some bootleg-ass vial of magic. Why are you so surprised anyway? You're the one who said he 'never wanted to use it!'"

I'm usually the type of guy to say 'fuck it' when things are getting scary, but I have literally no reason to do this. Getting a shit-ton of MP would be nice, but this is fuckin' Nightmare Mode. It won't be that easy.

His LUK was pretty high, but even if he dumped all his remaining points into it, he still wasn't confident about the whole 'one-in-a-million' odds of not dying instantly.

There was also the fact that Gray could tell that Tyrab was exaggerating, either intentionally or not.

If this would make me 'the strongest magic wielder in the universe' then how the fuck did the demons put it in a little vial?

If he did take the serum, and his body survived the injection of extreme magical power, then he definitely would've grown stronger. Probably strong enough to easily handle the demon ruler, but the strongest in the universe?
I'm not going to suddenly become Moro levels of strong from taking this.

Not that he could blame the two Yardratians - they probably thought that their demon invaders were the peak of magical ability. But, considering Gray had easily manhandled three demons with no trouble, even if they were likely just grunts, he was doubtful that the big scary boss was all that big or scary.

"B-But…" Tyrab spit out, the man looking as if his whole world had suddenly been shattered.

I guess he did risk his life to get this.

Luckily, while Gray had no intention of taking the serum right at that moment, it wouldn't go to waste.

"But, I'll still take it," Gray said, explaining more at Tyrab's confused look, "I won't inject it right now, but it can be a last-resort item. If I underestimated the demon ruler, and I really am about to die, then I'll inject it."

Though it's a last resort for a reason. If I can't beat the demon, and I have no chance of escaping, then I'll say fuck it and inject it. Though I doubt it'll ever come down to that.

"...Y-Yes, I supposed that is the best course of action," Tyrab cleared his throat, apparently getting over his abrupt bout of madness and trying to act wise again. Gray reached forward, grabbing the vial from his hand, and then stood from his chair.

"Now, we've been sitting here for long enough. Who's the big guy in this city?" Gray hummed, stretching out his arms, "I'll go kick his ass."
"B-Before you go, you should prepare more! Do not be reckless!" Tamir said loudly, ignoring Gray's question.

"What more is there to prepare?" Gray waved him off confidently.

There's gotta be some high-ranking demon stationed in each city. I'll go beat up the one here - if he's tough, then I'll leave. If he's a push over, then I'll go to the next city and do the same.

Just the vial in his hands was enough for Gray to consider his little visit a success. It was a powerful item that could potentially save him if he was ever in a really tough spot.

And I can just come back when I'm stronger for the MP reward if I have to.

There was no reason to risk death if the demons seemed truly dangerous.

"...I can teach you to develop magical power," Tyrab grunted, stopping Gray in his tracks.

"If you can do that, then what the fuck was the point of this?" Gray asked incredulously, dangling the serum in front of him.

"I-It won't be nearly as powerful as if you took the serum," Tyrab explained hastily, "But, it'll be enough to use a couple of techniques. My body can only handle small bursts of magic, but yours is much stronger. It won't be as strong as a demons, but it can still save you in a pinch!"

Yeah, I'm not gonna turn down free MP.

"Alright, I'm all ears," Gray hummed, turning around and sitting back down in his chair, "Just don't take too long - I wanna get rid of that demon as soon as possible."

"Don't think it'll be a quick process," Tyrab warned, "It takes hundreds of rotations to develop magical power naturally. The demons have found a way to speed up that process, but without using a serum, it'll still be a long and difficult process."

Well, I guess I'll be on this planet for a while.

But, for a safe way to unlock MP? A bit of time was more than worth it.

"The usual way involves creating the magical power from scratch. However, the demons found a way to create it using life energy," Tyrab explained, causing Gray's eyes to widen.

Turn Ki into MP?

"How?" Gray asked bluntly, leaning forward excitedly.

"I'm not sure about the specifics," Tyrab shook his head apologetically, "That's why it'll still be a long process. The serum does it for you - forcefully making your body convert your energy into magical power. All I can tell you is how it felt, and you'll have to figure it out."

Gray's face dropped from excitement to a deadpan.

He's just going to fucking describe it to me? 'Teach me' my ass.

"I'm more doubtful now," Gray said bluntly, "But, go ahead. It's worth a shot."

"It is. When the serum was injected into me, it felt like…" Tyrab made a weird motion, squirming in his chair as he pointed to his stomach, "that, and also pain."

Gray stared at him blankly.

He… he said it 'felt like' and then just squirmed in his chair.

"Then, the power went like…" Tyrab squirmed again, moving his finger from pointing at his stomach to pointing at the upper right of his chest, "And felt like 'Gah!' After that, I could use the magical energy."

Gray continued to stare at him blankly.

"...Right," He deadpanned.

"Give it a try!" Tyrab encouraged him, "Though, don't be discouraged if you can't do it on the first try. It'll likely take countless tries - possibly thousands, even with my teaching."

What teaching?

Gray thought dryly.

'Give it a try?' What the fuck am I trying?

Gray sighed, pushing away his negative thoughts. He straightened his body, closing his eyes as he tried to feel the Ki in his body.

He focused on the Ki in his stomach, letting it squish into a thick and round ball of energy. As he did, his body squirmed unintentionally.

Wait… that did feel like…

He forced that ball of Ki upward, wincing lightly as a small tremor of pain shot through him from the trick barrier. It flowed into his chest, starting to form a ball of tight Ki in the top right. As it grew bigger, a line formed within him, connecting the ball in his stomach with the ball in his chest.

Nothing happened.

He said it hurt, right? And he went 'Gah?' If I wanted to go 'Gah' what would I do…

Gray squeezed his eyes shut tighter.

I don't fucking know! This is so stupid.

Gray let out a sigh, relaxing his body as he gave up. As he did, a sharp pain suddenly shot through him.

"Gah!" He grunted, his right pectoral twitching slightly from the pain as his eyes shot open. The jolt of energy suddenly slammed outwards - feeling as if it was trying to break clean through his chest.

Fuck, this does hurt.

As Gray glanced at Tyrab's deformed chest, he realized how he had ended up that way.

I need to channel it out.

Gray grunted, closing his eyes again as he forced the new energy through his body. It carved a path to the side, feeling like lava flowing through his veins, until it reached his hand.

"Like… this?" Gray muttered, holding up his fist. As he did, a purple glow appeared around it, wafting outwards like smoke.

[MP Conversion] skill unlocked!

+10 MP for unlocking an MP-related skill! (10x multiplier from [Nightmare Mode])

[MP Conversion] - Convert other sources of energy into MP!

Current conversion rate at [LVL1] - 1000Ki to 1MP

[Profile Alert!]

For using [MP] you have unlocked the [MP] stat!

Gray blinked, staring at the row of notifications.

It was that easy? It was that fucking easy? Did I switch from Nightmare Mode to Baby Mode and not realize it?

"Y-You… you did it!" Tyrab raised his voice, his eyes wide with awe as he looked at the magic glowing around Gray's hand.

It… was actually that easy. Fuck, I could've just done that whenever! I could've already had MP!

Granted, it wasn't his fault. How was he supposed to know that he should channel a ball of Ki into his stomach, then another one in his chest, then connect the two, then relax and let his body do the rest?

When would I have ever done that? How should I have known to do that? Fuckin' Nightmare Mode.

While it was easy to acquire, the system hadn't made the process obvious.

I wonder if I can activate my sword with this too?

Gray thought idly. Unfortunately, Gray had left his sword in his pod - as without being able to enhance it with Ki it was essentially just a slab of wood, so he couldn't test it out yet.

"T-That quickly?!" Tamir interrupted, also staring at Gray with wide eyes.

"Yeah, it wasn't… um…" Gray trailed off, trying his best not to sound like an arrogant asshole, "It wasn't that hard."

"Hah, I must be a good teacher!" Tyrab chuckled, smiling smugly at Tamir as he looked overly proud.

You were a terrible teacher, but it worked, so… I guess he wasn't actually that bad.

Tyrab's poorly described feelings had actually worked as a guideline for Gray, so he couldn't complain too much.

And now that I have MP, I'm a lot more confident.

While he couldn't utilize a lot of his more advanced skills with MP, it still worked as a base energy. He would be able to fly, enhance his strength and speed, take more hits, and overall fight better.

Though… that conversion rate is terrible.

Gray assumed that the conversion ratio would become better once he leveled up the skill more, but at its current value it was rather daunting.

If I went full throttle and converted all my Ki, I'd get not even 3,000 total MP.

Considering how grand and powerful his attacks were at this point, he'd run out of MP just from enhancing one punch.

But, it won't drain too quickly from stuff like flying. It's still better than not having any source of energy.

It wasn't ideal, but it was better than nothing.

"You… I can't believe it," Tamir muttered, still staring at Gray with wide eyes, "Maybe… if it's you, you really can defeat the demon!"

"That's what I've been saying," Gray hummed, grinning confidently as he held up his glowing fist, "Come on, show me to this town's ruler, and I'll go kick his ass."

"Did he just…"

"N-No way! It's just a trick or something!"

"You just saw the same thing I did! He definitely did that!"

"M-Maybe he really is a demon? A Saiyan couldn't actually use magic, right? Not that quickly!"

Gray blinked at the sudden hushed conversation, turning his head and glancing over at the three demon women, who were all still leaning against the wall in the corner of the room.

"T-That's really bad, isn't it?! It doesn't matter that he can't use his life energy if he can use that!" Mittelt whisper-shouted, leaning over toward the two other women.

"Duh! He was already strong enough without his energy, but now…" Raynare trailed off, the woman's face twisting as she grit her teeth.

"...Maybe he'll let us go if I show him my tits?" Kalawarner asked, causing both women to turn and look at her blankly.

"Is she still drunk?" Mittelt muttered to Raynare.

"Definitely still drunk." Raynare nodded wisely.

"It's a good idea though," Mittelt conceded.

"Yeah, it's actually probably our best bet," Raynare sighed.

"Are you guys finally awake?" Gray grinned, standing up from his chair and walking towards the women. As he did, they all stiffened and looked up at him wearily. Gray merely smirked down at them, an idea forming in his head.

"What was that about showin' me your tits?"

Though, it'll take a bit more than that!

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"If you guys want to live, you'll have to convince me," Gray said simply, smirking down at the trio of women.

"C-Convince you?" Mittelt muttered, looking up at him unsurely.

"Yup. I'm usually a pretty nice guy, but…" Gray trailed off, his gaze hardening slightly, "Your leader enslaved an entire planet and is conducting harmful experiments. I can let that slide since you might just be following orders, but you also tried to kill me…"

It'd be a shame to kill such babes, but I can't just ignore them trying to kill me.

It was one thing to let someone like Bareth off with just a beating - the boy was annoying and a giant dickhead, but he hadn't tried to do anything to Gray personally. It was another thing to let Raditz keep his life - the man had tried to kill him, but his potential usefulness outweighed any hard feelings Gray had about that.

These women had tried to kill him, and they were weak. Outside of their bodies, they didn't have much use.

Gray blinked as he stared down at the women, processing his own thoughts. It was strange, and possibly a bit concerning, that his potential holdup on killing them was that they were hot, and not because he didn't want to needlessly kill another living person.

Hah. I've changed a lot since I arrived in this world, huh?

He was far different from the morally stricken human who couldn't bring himself to kill Dareth he had been when he arrived. Now, he was truly a ruthless Saiyan.

"...I believe you should just kill them," Tamir grunted behind him, but the man didn't press the issue more, "But, I know how you Saiyans like to operate. Come, Tyrab. Let's leave this to him."

Tyrab nodded, and the two Yardratians took their leave, walking out of the door and leaving Gray alone with the three demon women.

"It's going to take a lot for me to forget that you just tried to kill me about an hour ago," Gray grinned, towering over the trio, "Show me how much you value your lives, alright?"

For a moment, no one spoke. The trio of beautiful women stared at him wearily.

Then, Raynare finally broke the silence, "...We can be useful. I can tell you all abou-"

"Convince you, huh?! I can do that!" She was interrupted by Kalawarna, the still slightly drunk woman grinning as she pushed herself to her feet, "I like younger guys anyway! Using this chance to lose your virginity, kid? I'll show you your first pair of tits!"

Gray blinked, watching as the woman abruptly grabbed the sides of her shirt, pulling it to the side and revealing her large breasts fully to the world. The large mounds of porcelain flesh flopped outward, her large red nipples hard and pointing directly at Gray as the woman grinned widely at him.

Damn, those are fuckin' nice.

"I'm not a kid, or a virgin, but those are nice," Gray hummed, his grin turning into a smirk as he reached forward, abruptly placing his hand on one of Kalawarna's huge breasts.

Kalawarna looked down at his aggressive action in surprise, but her grin just grew even wider, "Hah, I like you, kid."

"Not a kid," Gray shot back again, squeezing his hand around her breast and causing the woman to let out a light moan, "And these are nice, but not nice enough. I'm gonna need more than a titty-grab to let you go."

"Our bodies won't be enough, Kala," Raynare muttered, pushing herself to her feet as well, "We tried to kill him. We can be useful, Saiyan, I know all abou-"

"P-Please don't kill me, Master!" Mittelt interrupted abruptly, the petite woman shooting to her feet next to Raynare, "I-I'm so sorry we tried to hurt you, Master! Obviously, that woman's no-good globs of fat aren't good enough!"

"Rude," Kalawarna huffed, glancing over at Mittelt.

"Please use my body to make up for it! I don't have large breasts like Kala, but…" Mittelt spun around, bending over as she reached back and pulled up the hem of her skirt - revealing her perky white ass, which was covered in a thin white panty, and pointing it at Gray, "You can take out your anger on my bottom! Both for what we did and for Kala being a stupid bimbo whose intelligence all went to her tits!"

The fuck?

"The fuck?" Gray echoed his own thoughts, staring blankly as Mittelt put up literally zero fight - instantly showing her ass to him as she begged for her life, and for some reason continued to shit-talk Kalawarna's breasts.

"Y-You can't just bring your fetish into this, Mittelt! This is serious!" Raynare scolded, looking over apologetically at Gray.

"No, no, it's fine. I just didn't expect it to go this way," Gray said blandly, glancing between Kalawarna's revealed breasts and Mittelt's perky ass.

I mean, I thought this would be a lot darker and more difficult.

Gray assumed he would force the three terrified women into being his subordinates while pulling any information they had out of them. He'd get a show of their bodies, while also getting information.

I wasn't going to go this far or anything. I'm not this much of an arrogant asshole.

He thought that after forcing them to be his subordinates, he'd have to win them over using the reputation system over time. Instead, Mittelt was already pointing her bare ass at him while calling him 'Master.'

"I told you two! He's trying to defeat our Lord, and we tried to kill him. He doesn't want our bodies, he wants information abou-" Raynare started again, but was interrupted for a third time.

"Why are you surprised, kid? We're fallen," Kalawarna grinned sensually, stepping toward Gray again, "You're strong enough to beat us even without energy, and you're cute on top of it. I just want to eat you up…"

She leaned forward, one of her hands trailing down as it landed on Gray's crotch. Her huge bare breasts pressed into Gray's chest, and her other hand went to grab one of Gray's arms. She led his hand upward, placing it on her breast as she leaned in even closer.

"Actually, I think I will," Kalawarna smirked, abruptly slamming her lips into Gray's and claiming his mouth in a kiss. She moaned lightly into his mouth as Gray's hand fondled and squeezed her breasts.

"I-I'll give you some service while you deal with the bimbo, Master," Mittelt smirked, quickly kneeling down in front of Gray as her hands reached for his crotch.

"Wait, wait, this is nice and all, but," Gray pulled away from Kalawarna, taking a step back from the two women, "This is not the time."

They're still demons. This might all be a trick to get me to let my guard down.

Without his Ki, Gray was more susceptible to sneak attacks, so the potential plan could've been effective even if the women were far weaker than him.

"First, you," Gray nodded at Raynare, who was still standing a few feet behind the other women, "They've had their turns, but now it's yours. What did you want to say?"

I thought they were all just low-level grunts, but it seems like she keeps trying to say that she has some helpful information.

Raynare turned her head to the side, her face flushing red as he looked at her.

The fuck?

"W-Well, I could go either way. If you like getting whipped, you could call me Mistress…" Raynare trailed off, her thighs rubbing together lightly, "O-Or I don't mind calling you Master… I have some whips and chains nearby, I can go grab th-"

"Not literally what you want to say," Gray deadpanned, causing the woman to flush an even deeper red, "What you were saying earlier! About how you could tell me about something?"

These women are insane. Are all demons like this?

"R-Right! I knew that," Raynare stiffened, trying to turn her face serious despite her heavy blush, "I overheard your conversation with the two ra- ahem, Yardratians. If you want to defeat our Lord, we can be useful! I know his weaknesses, as well as the ins and outs of the experimentation process."

Gray blinked, looking at Raynare in surprise.

She does? Do all the demon grunts just know this stuff?

Before Gray could question her, Mittelt interrupted again, the blonde woman leaning forward as her hands rose toward his crotch, a hungry look on her face, "Ignore that boring woman, Master. Let me service you ins-"

"Not now," Gray deadpanned, placing his hand on the top of MIttelt's head to hold her back as she hungrily reached for his crotch.

Even for a demon, this girl is too horny for a guy that just kicked her ass.

Unfortunately, but also fortunately, for Gray, said ass-beating only made the woman hornier for him.

"You know his weaknesses?" Gray asked doubtfully, raising an eyebrow at Raynare, "How would you know that? Does this guy just go around telling his subordinates that type of stuff?"

"No, but we work directly under him," Raynare shook her head, looking at him confusedly, "Did you not know? Compared to the demons on Yardrat, we are the second highest ranked."

Gray blinked, staring at her. He looked over at the drunk Kalawarna, whose tits were flopped out in front of him. Then, down to Mittelt, who was staring hungrily at the outline of his member through his pants while on her knees. Then, back at the blushing Raynare.

"...you guys are the second highest rank?" Gray asked dryly.

"Y-Yes!" Raynare huffed indignantly, "We work directly under Lord Kokobiel! We're like his second-in-command!"

That's his name? Kokobiel?

A guy whose name sounded like 'coconut' couldn't be that strong, right?

Gray stared at her blankly again.

"...Like, you warm his bed?" Gray asked, not seeing how the trio of women could be considered high-ranking demons except for using their bodies.

"No!" Raynare huffed again, "B-Because we're strong! I-I'm still a virgin…"

"Aren't you a literal demon?" Gray deadpanned.

"This is her first time out of the demon realm, and fallen don't usually get with other fallen," Kalawarna explained, smirking over at Raynare. Gray ignored her, glancing at Raynare again.

They're 'strong?'

Gray blinked, staring at the woman in front of him. The woman who he had effortlessly taken down even without his Ki, and yet was apparently the second-in-command of a demon who conquered Yardrat.

Right… I'm strong.

Gray stared forward blankly for a moment, the reality of where he stood in the universe finally kicking in.

I'm really strong. I've been underestimating myself.

Gray had always been looking ahead - looking toward the people he needed to be stronger than. Mainly, looking toward Frieza.

But, in comparison to the rest of the universe, Frieza was practically a god. Gray didn't view him that way because he knew there were stronger people out there - people like Cell, Majin Buu, and Beerus who could stomp Frieza like a bug. But, to everyone else, Frieza was the big bad. The top of the top. The final boss of the entire world.

I can see how people become arrogant now.

Gray had been overly cautious since he arrived at Yardrat - he had assumed that his lack of MP could cause him to actually lose if the demon in charge, Kokobiel, was strong. But, even without MP, and even without his Ki…

I could beat the shit out of him. I really am towards the top of the food chain now. I'm one of the strongest in the universe.

Of course, stronger foes would pop up later on, but that hadn't happened yet. Cell wasn't created yet, Majin Buu was still sealed, and Beerus was sleeping.

I don't need to be so cautious. There's only a few people in the whole universe who could give me trouble.

He glanced down at this hand. That number of people could be counted on his fingers.

Frieza's family for sure. Frieza, Cooler, and King Cold. Ginyu, maybe. King Vegeta, maybe. Actual Vegeta, maybe. And, wherever the fuck Goku ended up, probably him.

But, other than that, Gray felt that there was truly no one else he should be worried about running into at the moment.

Definitely not this coconut guy.

"Alright, tell me what you know," Gray hummed, grinning as a new confidence filled him, "Then, I'll go kill this coconut fucker."

"Talking"

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You're a darn fool if you think you can defeat me," The man in a large trench coat and fedora chuckled, "Even if you are a Saiyan, you can't use your energy. I'll deal with you, then I'll rip the wings off those traitorous bitches- GAH"

57,250HP! (159,750/217,000)

This guy's supposed to be tough?

The man was sent skidding backward, clutching at his stomach in agony after Gray's fist slammed into it.

"Y-You're quick, I'll give you that," The man huffed, wincing in pain from the blow. He raised his hands, two light spears forming in them as he glared forward at Gray, "But that won't save you from being torn apart by my-"

62,980HP! (96,770/217,000)

Why is he monologuing? You gotta be at least a little bit tough to get away with a monologue!

The man didn't even get a gasp off this time, instead being flung backward head-first into the wall behind him from the force of Gray's fist hitting him square in the face. The entire room around them shook as he slammed into the wall, and the wall behind him actually gave away. A body-sized hole appeared in the wall, and the man was flung out into the sky around them.

"Y-You…" The coat-covered man seemed to realize he shouldn't try monologuing again, as he instead flapped the large pair of wings on his body once, stabilizing himself mid-air. Then, he shot forward, charging back into the building at Gray with a raised light spear. He pointed the spear forward, directing it at Gray's chest as he quickly closed the gap. He swung forward, and…

59,000HP! (37,770/217,000)

He was promptly flung out of the building again, Gray looking at the man dryly as he crumpled under his fist.

"I thought you said he was strong?" Gray deadpanned, glancing back at the three sexy demon women behind him.

"W-Well, he's not as powerful as me, but…" Raynare shrugged, "He has a reputation for being a good fighter. You're just… a lot better of a fighter."

I don't think I'd call this a fight - It's like I'm just knocking around a sandbag.

Gray raised his fist casually, slamming it into an incoming light spear as the man realized that close-range fighting wasn't going to work. A flurry of light spears followed, streaming through the massive hole in the wall as he unleashed a barrage at Gray. Gray's fists blurred in the air, easily smashing through all the attacks even without enhancing his fists with ki.

"You done?" Gray asked blandly as the number of light spears and their speed started to decrease. At his words, the attack stopped completely, and the trench coat-wearing man slowly floated back into the room. He was clearly worn out after unleashing such an attack immediately after having his body battered around by Gray.

"...Yes," He sighed, panting out the word, "I understand - I can't defeat you."

Gray blinked in surprise, turning his back to the man as he looked back at Raynare, "Well, that was easy."

That was even quicker than Cui. And to think Raynare said he had a huge ego and would die before he gave up-

Gray swung around, lashing his arm out as he battered away a light spear aimed at his back.

"Yeah, I thought you were going to do that," He hummed, turning back to face the man. The man merely snarled in response, raising another light spear and charging forward stupidly again. He swung wildly at Gray, who merely dodged under the attack and uppercutted his fist into the man's stomach.

32,700HP! (5,070/217,000)

"Well, I gave you a chance," Gray shrugged, watching as the man slumped to the floor, clutching at his stomach again. Gray raised up his foot, stomping it down on the man's neck and killing him instantly.

[Demon 'Dohnaseek' has been defeated!]

+13,500 XP!

+13,500 Coins!

"One down… a bunch more to go," Gray sighed, turning away from the corpse.

Gray, along with Raynare, Kalawarna, and Mittelt were currently on the top floor of one of the many towering buildings within the city. They weren't in the same city that Gray had met Tamir in, as they were instead in the closest city nearby.

Gray had spent the previous few hours interrogating Raynare - which is to say, he spent the previous few hours listening to Raynare spill everything she knew willingly while trying to hold back the other two horny demons.

Luckily, Raynare wasn't lying about being a higher-up among the demons here - which she referred to as 'fallen angels' - as she was able to tell him a lot about both the demon realm and Kokobiel's plans.

I'm glad she knew so much. It would've been a headache to figure out all this demon realm shit otherwise.

Gray didn't have any prior information he could go off of for the demon realm, as the depiction of it changed so often in the Dragon Ball media, so he couldn't be certain what was real or not in this world. But, how Raynare had broken it down for him was both what he had expected but also a bit more advanced.

The demon realm was separate from the 'outer world' as she called it - which Gray assumed was the multi-universe world. There were three demon worlds within the demon realm, which were stacked ontop of each other. That was where Raynare's explanation became more uncertain, as she had only ever lived in the Second World, and everything else she knew was from things she had heard.

Essentially, the big bad Supreme Demon King lived in the First World, and that was where all the scary powerful demons were. The First World was essentially a massive kingdom for the king. The Second World was more chaotic - different planets were home to different 'races' of demons, and those planets didn't get along, with some of them even being at war.

Not too different from the outer world, huh?

The planets in the Second World were home to more 'mythical' races - as Raynare was a part of the Fallen Angel race, while there was also a race for Devils, Youkai, Dragons, and many others.

As for the Third World, Raynare didn't know much of anything about it, but said it was 'weaker' than the Second World. According to Raynare, she had heard that it used to be possible to travel between the three worlds, but that a pervious king had restricted that access.

It also wasn't supposed to be possible to travel from the Demon Realm to the outer world, but the leader of Raynare's race, a man named Azazel, was a mad scientist-type character who had found a way.

That was a pretty huge deal - as Raynare wasn't certain if even the Supreme Demon King had a method to travel to the outer world, so he'd kill Azazel and take his work if he knew about it.

Considering Dabura had a way of getting to Earth, he must have a way to leave the Demon Realm.

The world was already so incredibly different from canon that Gray's rough timeline couldn't be trusted, but if it was the same as canon then Dabura should still be alive and ruling the Demon Realm.

After Azazel had created the method, known as 'opening a demon gate', one of the top dogs under Azazel, and Raynare's direct commander, Kokobiel had gone under Azazel's nose. He had learned the method to create a demon gate and was exploiting Yardrat to develop a way to quickly and artificially enhance one's magical power without Azazel's knowledge.

He planned to enhance himself as well as his subordinates, then defeat Azazel to take control of the Fallen Angel race. Raynare didn't have confirmation beyond that, but she suspected that his next goal would be to take over as the new Supreme Demon King.

Luckily, Kokobiel was stupid, but also somewhat competent. Raynare said that she was likely the strongest demon on Yardrat aside from Kokobiel pure power-wise, though she was inexperienced at fighting. Kokobiel needed to keep what he was doing here under wraps, so he had only brought along his direct subordinates whom he could trust.

Competent, because his leader won't probably won't find out. Stupid, because they're all weak, and someone like me can just stomp all over them.

While Gray was definitely toward the top of the food chain among beings in the universe that should be active at this point in the timeline, he didn't need to be ridiculously strong to take down the demons.

Even someone like Piccolo could've done this. Hell, Krillin probably could kick these guys asses.

"Are they all going to be this weak?" Gray hummed, raising an eyebrow at Raynare, "I expected more from demons."

In the end, Gray was still a Saiyan - a Saiyan who wanted a good fight.

It's not fun just taking them down so easily. I want an actual fight.

"...He was one of the stronger ones," Raynare had the decency to blush lightly, "Our race is considered pretty weak amongst the Second World, but it still shouldn't be this easy! You're just way too strong!"

"Y-Yeah, even without your energy, you might be able to beat even Lord Azazel," Mittelt chimed in, the petite girl blushing as she lightly rubbed her thighs together, "I've never seen anyone so strong…"

"Yeah, you're definitely the strongest guy I've ever met, kid," Kalawarna agreed, the woman staring at him like he was a piece of meat. She still wouldn't drop the 'kid' nickname, apparently more than happy to be a 'milf without a kid.'

I know it's because I'm strong, but these two are too much.

Another notable thing Raynare had told him about her race, and most of the races in the Second World in general - they highly valued strength. Very Highly.

Saiyans were like that too - the stronger you were, the higher your place in society was. Low-class Saiyans were weak, while elite-class Saiyans were strong. The King had to be the strongest, as no Saiyan wanted to be under someone weaker than them.

But, while Saiyans valued strength in a respect and hierarchy sense, the demons of the Second World valued strength in a mating sense. It was different from Saiyans, who still wanted a strong partner but in a personality sense as opposed to fighting prowess. Someone like Vegeta was fine with marrying Bulma, as the woman was strong in a 'fiery and dominant personality' way despite not knowing how to fight.

To the demons, who were naturally power-hungry and greedy, their instincts demanded that they mate with the strongest person they could to create the strongest offspring.

I'm not complaining, but their stares are a bit creepy.

Even if Gray was extremely strong, the two women constantly giving him 'fuck me' eyes was a bit overkill. But, when he'd mentioned that, Raynare had explained it to him further - it wasn't just finding a strong mate, it was finding the strongest mate. Now that they had met Gray, they wouldn't view anyone else but him in that light. Every other weaker man was essentially not even a man in their eyes.

Kinda harsh. But, they're sexy as hell, so I won't complain.

"Alright, whose next?" Gray asked.

The current plan was to go from city to city, taking down the higher-ups positioned in charge of them and ending the experiments being done on the Yardratians for the time being. Then, once the small fries were finished, he'd go after Kokobiel.

"You can do me next!" Mittelt answered before Raynare could, "All this fighting is so boring! Let's take a break and have some fun!"

"Not yet," Gray shot her down bluntly. While having 'fun' with the two sexy demon women sounded great, and he felt more certain that they weren't going for the 'stab him in the middle of fucking' approach, he still wanted to finish up with the higher-ups first.

I know I'm not a hero or anythin', or even a good guy, but I'd feel guilty if I was fuckin' some demon tits while the Yardratians are getting experimented on. It'd ruin the experience.

"He'll be doing me first, little girl," Kalawarna chuckled, smirking down at Mittelt as she glared up at her.

"No way!"

"Yes way. I have tits, while you have," Kalawarna wrinkled her nose at Mittelt's petite physique, "A chest. Wait your turn!"

"Master doesn't like those huge udders anyway!" Mittelt huffed, glaring at Kalawarna as she reverted back to the 'Master' nickname, "Besides, he's an ass guy anyway!"

"That doesn't change anything. You've got a butt, I've got an ass," Kalawarna smirked, turning around and poking out her bottom.

"S-Size isn't everything! Yours is like a pancake - mine is way more bubbly!" Mittelt shot back, also turning around and lifting up her skirt to showcase her own behind.

"W-Well, if we're talking about asses, mine is definitely the best. It's bigger than yours, but also way better shaped than Kala's…" The room turned dead silent as Raynare suddenly intervened, everyone's eyes turning to her.

"W-What?! It's true!" Raynare huffed, blushing from the sudden attention. She started to turn around to showcase her own ass, "W-We can compare, and you can decide who has the bes-"

"Just point me in the direction of the next city," Gray deadpanned, cutting the girl off.

"R-Right!"

Freaky-ass demon girls.

"Talking"

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"T-Thank you so much, Saiyan! What can we do to repay you?" A Yardratian asked, the pink man's wide eyes staring up at Gray with reverence.

"Eh? You don't gotta do anything, I'm doing this because I want to." Gray waved off the man.

More specifically, I'm doing this to complete the quest. Both quests.

After defeating the first 'city-boss', Dohnaseek, as well as the one in the nearest city after that, the system had deemed it fit to give him a side-quest.

[Quest]

Defeat All The City Bosses on Yardrat!

Rewards:

+1,000,000 XP

+100 Attribute points (10x multiplier from [Nightmare Mode])

A random [Common] [Magical] skill!

Failure:

Nothing!

A magical skill is still a magical skill, even if it's common.

The previous common magical skill Gray had gotten, [Attack Boost], was pretty decent despite being common - he hoped, at least. He hadn't tried it yet, considering he didn't have MP before, and now that he did it was with a terrible exchange rate.

Gray didn't want to risk draining his Ki to try and improve the ratio just yet, as even if it seemed like all Kalawarna and Mittelt would do if he was exhausted and defenseless was go after his dick, he still didn't want to leave himself in a weakened state.

"S-So selfless… you're a hero!" The Yardratian muttered, staring at Gray with huge eyes, "I'll tell everyone about what you did! We'll build a statue in your honor!"

"...You really don't gotta do that," Gray answered dryly but then shrugged as he thought about it, "Actually, fuck it. Go do that. Make a big-ass one too."

Wouldn't hurt to have an entire planet on my side.

Gray was currently standing in a large dark room that acted as a prison/holding area for the Yardratians who were being experimented on. There were lines of cells that had been holding the Yardratians just a few minutes ago, and Gray was going through setting them free after dealing with the city boss.

There had been multiple rooms just like this, both in the large building and in the other cities that Gray had been to. And so, as he defeated one city boss after another, he found himself being constantly praised as a hero by the Yardratians he freed.

They're way too naive.

The Yardratians tended to be very optimistic - they naturally assumed the best in everyone and tried to have the highest opinion they could. That had fucked them over before - as they had welcomed the demons who went on to enslave them with open arms - but was great for Gray. Whenever he openly told them he was just freeing their planet for his own selfish reasons, having no desire to be viewed as a hero or savior, they had taken that as him being humble.

And so, he had already been told that he'd have some type of monument built in his honor in a dozen different cities. That was on top of the literal hundreds of Yardratians who had said they'd 'die for him' and the tens of elders who had asked him to marry their daughters.

Usually, I wouldn't turn down random women being thrown at me, but…

The Yardratian women tended to not look much different from the men - that is to say, they're round, bald, and overall not Gray's type.

"Yes! It will be bigger than even the tallest building!" The Yardratian nodded excitedly, "Also, it would be an honor if you would marry my daught-"

Not happening.

"Gotta go," Gray cut him off bluntly, turning back toward Raynare, Kalawarna, and Mittelt as he nodded for them to start leaving, "There are more people to save, y'know?"

"R-Right! A hero's work is never done!" The Yardratian nodded rapidly, "Good luck, Saiyan Gray!"

"Annoying rats," Kalawarna muttered under her breath as the four of them walked out of the dark prison area, "They think you want to marry one of those ugly little things? You need a girl with big tits and a fat ass, right babe?"

I'm not mad that she's calling me that now, but it's kind of weird. I've only known her for about a day.

"Right! Master wants an obedient girl who'll do whatever he says, and that has a bubble butt he can spank when she misbehaves!" Mittelt agreed, nodding sagely, "Not one of those smart-ass rats!"

She's also been getting more intense with her 'master' stuff.

"...He needs a girl who can take control after a hard day of fighting, with big tits and a large ass that he can worship while she whips him…" Raynare muttered, her version being overly specific as she wore her dominatrix-like latex bikini.

Even she's getting in on it now.

+200 Reputation with Kalawarna (For being strong) [4x from [Ladies Man], [A Humble Master]]

This is a cheat code. It's actually a cheat code.

Over the course of the past day, Gray had gotten a lot of reputation updates. A lot. Like, over a hundred between the three women. Apparently, him showing off his strength by beating the shit out of and killing their fellow fallen angel commanders was a reputation-farming exploit with the demon girls.

Gray glanced over at Kalawarna, taking in the huge number that just kept climbing with each passing hour.

[Stern] Kalawarna:

[Demon]

Age: 37

PL: 125,900,750

HP: 215,700/215,700

TKI: 2,500/2,500

TMP: 459,700/459,700

[Stern] Modifier - Individuals with this modifier will be naturally stern and unbending.

My highest reputation is with a girl I just met. Also, I can see MP now - cool.

It was strange to have the women fawning over him constantly just for being strong - especially when their reputation went up so much.

Even Celia is barely in the 'slightly loved' tier. Hell, she was willing to die for me when she was only in the 'greatly liked' tier - these demon women are insane.

It was strange to see that his reputation with each of the three women was higher in a day than his reputation with Celia, Saeko, and Asuna got over the course of his entire time on Earth.

But, it's good to have more people on my side. I just wish they were a bit stronger.

Unfortunately, Gray had the same problem with them that Kokobiel had with all his subordinates - they were weak. Aside from their incredibly sexy bodies, they weren't much help overall.

"Alright, which way now?" Gray asked casually, placing his palm on the wall in front of him. He pushed forward, tearing a hole in the way as he readied himself to jump off the tall building back onto the floor below.

"That was the last one," Raynare answered, then explained as Gray glanced at her questioningly, "Other than Kokobiel, I mean. You took them all down so quickly… I doubt he's even realized yet."

Gray blinked, "I did?"

[Quest Complete]

Defeat All The City Bosses on Yardrat!

Rewards:

+1,000,000 XP

+100 Attribute points (10x multiplier from [Nightmare Mode])

A random [Common] [Magical] skill!

"Fuck yeah," Gray grinned. It had only been a couple of hours since he had started tracking down the city bosses, and he didn't expect to be done nearly this quickly. He was still much slower without his Ki, so it made navigating the planet difficult, but the running itself wouldn't have been the hard part - as he was still capable of running around the entire planet in mere minutes even without Ki. Not being able to sense Ki would've been what made the quest difficult. Luckily, he had Raynare to point him in the right direction, so it didn't take long.

Well, fuck it, might as well spin it now right?

Gray tapped on the magical skill reward.

[Common] [Magical] Skill Gacha Token - A gacha token used to roll the skill gacha, with a 100% chance to roll a [Common] [Magical] skill!

Use [Common] [Magical] Skill Gacha Token?

Yes/No

Gray tapped yes.

[Rolling…]

[Alert!] A 5% LUK event has been hit! [Common] [Magical] Skill Gacha Token was upgraded to [Rare] [Magical] Skill Gacha Token!

Gray blinked, a grin forming on his face.

Thank you, LUK!

[Rare Skill!]

[Tracking MP Blast] - An MP blast that tracks your opponent, following them until it is destroyed.

+10 MP for unlocking an MP-related skill! (10x multiplier from [Nightmare Mode])

Now you wanna give me MP for the skill, dumbass game?!

But, Gray couldn't complain.

Getting a rare instead of a common is more than I expected, and this skill is pretty decent.

Gray knew that in theory he should be able to create a tracking-type attack on his own, but he hadn't figured it out yet.

Not that I tried very hard either.

Gray had seen one too many tracking blasts end up backfiring on the user, usually by their opponent just running it into them, for him to be desperate to create such an attack.

It's useful, but unless I can figure out a way to apply it to a Kokuyo-level attack, it doesn't mean much.

Most normal Ki blasts could just be knocked away or tanked by someone in a fight, and on a deeper level didn't even need to connect. A lot of the time they were used to force your opponent to dodge and put them into a bad spot for a follow-up attack.

"Alright, lead the way," Gray said, nodding at Raynare.

"You want to go already?" Raynare asked, tilting her head at him cutely, "Shouldn't you rest first?"

"Nah," Gray merely chuckled, "I'm not tired. Those were more like warmups than actual fights."

"You're a monster…" Raynare muttered, though her tone was more impressed than fearful.

Ironic coming from a literal demon.

Gray along with the three demon girls quickly left the building, crossing the gap between that city and the largest one, which was essentially like Yardrat's capital, in just a few minutes.

Damn, it's kind of impressive.

Gray couldn't help but be impressed as he stared up at giant building, which was essentially a skyscraper. From what Raynare had told him, the reason every city had such a large structure in the middle was because it acted like a government building of sorts.

Not that Yardrat really needed a government - it was apparently more like a council of Elders, and there hadn't been any real political strifle on the planet because of the kind nature of the Yardratians.

But, now the buildings were repurposed by the demons to house the elders that were being experimented on, along with acting as a home for the Fallen Angel commanders.

"Is he in there?" Gray asked, glancing back at Raynare for confirmation. While the towering buildings acted as the main base of operations for the commanders, it wasn't like they were always in them. Out of the dozens of cities Gray had freed that day, a couple had been empty - forcing him to track down the commander himself.

"He is. He's towards the top," Raynare confirmed - as she was able to sense Magical Power in a similar way to Gray being able to sense Ki within living beings. Compared to Saiyans, in which most couldn't sense energy and needed to use scouters, this was apparently a common ability amongst demons.

"Then, let's get this over with," Gray said simply, a grin forming on his face.

I might actually get a kick out of this.

After beating the asses of the commanders so easily, Gray's Saiyan body was itching for a real fight.

Gray stepped forward, his legs tensing. He pushed upwards, and a moment later a massive crater appeared under him as he shot upwards, bursting through the air. He soared hundreds of feet into the air, idly hearing the flap of his guide's wings as they followed.

He reached out as he got close to the top, casually placing his palm on the wall. He gripped his hand, his fingers crushing through the wall as he literally tore through it. Gray stepped forward, pushing through the crumbling bit of wall around him as he stepped into the building.

"You finally showed up…" A deep voice resounded, and Gray's grin shifted into a deadpan.

This is way too cliche.

"I've been waiting for you, Saiyan!" Standing in front of Gray, looking as if he had been expecting him, was a man in a large robe. He had a twisted and ugly face, with tipped ears. His eyes were red - not just the pupils, but the entirety of his eyeballs.

However, the most notable part of the man's appearance was the huge, crow-like wings sticking out of his back. Whereas Raynare, Kalawarna, and Mittelt all had a sole pair of wings on their back, this man had five pairs - making for ten total wings.

"Well, at least you cleared out the room for us," Gray replied dryly, looking at the comically empty room around them. It was as if Kokobiel knew it would be trashed during the fight.

Gray used [Observe].

[Cruel] Kokobiel:

[Demon]

Age: 1,780

PL: 1,574,552,000

HP: 1,222,500/1,222,500

TKI: 72,000/72,000

TMP: 1,759,000/1,759,000

[Cruel] Modifier - Individuals with this modifier will be naturally cruel.

Over a billion? He's strong.

It was leagues higher than any of the other demons Gray had seen.

Without my Ki, I'll need to be careful. He probably has a bunch of bullshit-ass magic too.

Slowly, a hungry grin formed on Gray's face.

This'll be fun.

Thoughts

"Talking"

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So, this is how you were able to take out my commanders so quickly?" Kokobiel hummed, an excited grin still of his face, though his eyes flashed with a hint of anger as he looked at Kalawarna, Mittelt, and Raynare, "Traitrous bitches."

"Rude," Raynare muttered.

"I took them down so quickly because they were weak," Gray corrected, an equally excited grin on his face, "I hope you're not the same. It'll make this whole trip feel like a waste."

"Ha…ha…HAHAHAHAHA!" Kokobiel abruptly erupted in a loud laugh, "That's the spirit, Saiyan!
I hope the same! If you're as pathetic as the other Saiyans you sent, then I'll be so disappointed!"

Other Saiyans?

"Other Saiyans?" Gray turned his thoughts into words, "Here? On Yardrat?"

"Don't worry, they're still alive," Was all the explanation Kokobiel gave, "I wouldn't waste such strong subjects on unfinished products… You'll join them soon enough if I can resist killing you! You've already done so much better than they did - I might not be able to handle my excitement!"

"You know what he's talkin' about?" Gray glanced towards Raynare, who merely shrugged in response.

He's just a crazy fucker.

"Truly… It's almost poetic that you Saiyans are the ones to challenge me," Kokobiel spoke again, his already hungry grin turning wider as he bared his teeth, "I've always had such respect for that master of yours. Going from planet to planet, igniting war after war, killing any who oppose him! He's the reason I left that dull world…"

'Master of your's'? Does he mean Frieza?

"Truly, I wish I was born a Saiyan! To indulge in glorious fight after glorious fight… there could be no better life!" Kokobiel continued his rant, his eyes growing bigger as his body seemed to vibrate in excitement, "I remember those days so clearly! The days of war! There was no better time to be alive! "

Definitely a crazy fucker.

"But…" Kokobiel trailed off, his face becoming less excited as it was twisted with anger and malice, "That damn peace-loving bastard Azazel! If he won't fight, then I will! I'll enhance our race, claim the demon realm for my own, and create the biggest war the universe has ever seen! The glorious war between the Emperor Frieza and the Supreme Demon King Kokobi-GUH"

22,500HP! (1,200,000/1,222,500)

Gray's fist slammed into Kokobiel's gut abruptly, sending the lanky man skidding backward. His back slammed into the wall behind him, causing it to dent from the force, but he wasn't sent through it as his ten wings flapped to stabilize himself.

"What the hell?" Kokobiel spit out, his eyes glaring harshly at Gray.

"What? I let you get off most of that dumbass monologue," Gray grinned in response, casually cracking his knuckles, "You can't be mad - you're lucky even got that much. It took a lot of restraint not to knock your head off by the second sentence…"

Kokobiel stared at him blankly for a second, but then a bloodthirsty grin formed on his face again, "Hah! I won't be able to stop myself from killing you now!"

As he finished his sentence, he shot forward, a large light spear appearing in his hand. He lashed out with it, but Gray quickly shifted his body weight and dodged. The light spear brushed past him, and he stepped forward as his arm tensed. He shot forward with a punch of his own, aiming at Kokobiel's stomach.

Kokobiel was fast enough to avoid a direct blow, shifting to the side as the punch instead pounded into his side and sent him skidding back.

12,200HP! (1,187,800/1,222,500)

He's surprisingly tough.

Despite looking skinny and lanky, the ten-winged demon was still tanking his punches pretty well. Granted, if Gray had been able to enhance his attacks with Ki, then the man would've looked much more rag-doll-like from the blows.

But I can't.

Kokobiel hastily took another step backward, raising both hands as two more light spears appeared in them. However, the air around him seemed to stiffen, and suddenly dozens of spears formed in the air around him.

Kind of like my Ki-array.

Gray tensed his body as Kokobiel threw his arms forward, causing the tens of light spears to fly through the small gap between them and Gray. He raised his fists, slamming them into the incoming light spears and causing them to dissipate into the air. As he did, Gray let out a slight wince of pain.

-1,000HP! (1,888,950/1,889,950)

-1,000HP! (1,887,950/1,889,950)

-1,000HP! (1,886,950/1,889,950)

-1,000HP! (1,885,950/1,889,950)

They're a lot stronger than Raynares.

Unlike Raynare, Kalawarna, and Mittelt's light spears, Gray actually felt a slight burn on his knuckles as he barreled through the attacks. It wasn't enough to seriously injure him, or even draw blood, but it let him know that Kokobiel was at least strong enough to hurt him.

"What?!" Kokobiel spat out as Gray burst through the attacks, appearing in front of him far faster than the demon had expected. He crossed his arms in front of his chest, barely protecting himself as the air swirled around Gray's fist from the force of his punch.

10,550HP! (1,177,250/1,222,500)

Kokobiel was forced to take a step back, but Gray didn't let up on his attacks. His fists blurred forward, slamming time after time into Kokobiel as the demon repeatedly backtracked

10,700HP! (1,166,550/1,222,500)

11,250HP! (1,155,300/1,222,500)

12,000HP! (1,143,300/1,222,500)

12,500HP! (1,130,800/1,222,500)

Kokobiel was still barely taking any damage, but the relentless attacks started to add up.

This guy sucks at fighting. I'm slow as hell without my Ki, and yet he can't keep up-

Just as Gray felt a small twinge of disappointment, his instincts screamed out at him and out of the corner of his eyes he saw the stoney floor under him become a bit illuminated. He shot to the side, diving out of the way and landing in a crouch as a flurry of light spears slammed into where he had been attacking Kokobiel.

"I take it back," Gray muttered, his grin forming again as he stood back up, "He's not bad."

He doesn't need a lot of focus to form the spears - he was able to do it even while I was punching the hell out of him.

"You managed to avoid that," Kokobiel grinned back, holding out his hand again, "Then I'll have to get serious!"

Seriously, this guy is so cliche.

Under Kokobiel's hand, a bright yellow light flashed into existence. It rose up, shimmering in the air and distorting until it landed in the shape of a sword. It had a long hilt, with two sharp points sticking out to the sides and a long, sharp blade.

It's like a Ki-blade.

Gray tensed a bit, his eyes locked onto the sword. The air around it seemed to glimmer, and even without being able to sense magical power, he could tell it was different from the light spears.

If I get hit by that, it'll actually hurt.

"Die!" Kokobiel screamed out, continuing his cliche streak as he shot forward at Gray.

Gray grunted, diving to the side as Kokobiel seemed to move faster than before, swinging his large sword at Gray. As he did, a streak of light shot outward from the sword, missing Gray but slamming into the wall behind him and slashing through it. The room creaked slightly, the ground shaking as the stability started to crumple.

Gray was forced on the backfoot for a moment as Kokobiel lunged forward again, slashing his sword back and forth as he sent blades of light flying at Gray. Gray shifted his body, leaning back and forth as the light slices flew past him.

As he dodged them, the blades continued to fly around the room wildly, slashing through the walls and breaking through them. The structural stability of the top of the building started to give away as more and more holes appeared in the wall, the roof crumbling and breaking away in the process.

Kokobiel's red eyes glew bright for a split second, and he lunged forward, shoving forward his sword in a jab, "[Cadre's Thrust!]"

Kokobiel's ten wings gave a flap, and the man blitzed through the air, appearing right in front of Gray in an instant.

Fast.

Was the only word Gray could think before he had to take action. He kicked off the ground, rocketing backward as his body slammed into the wall behind him. He burst through it, going into a free-fall as the sword barely missed him.

His body started to fall as gravity took effect, plummeting down from the top of the nearly two-thousand-foot tall building. Kokobiel didn't let up, leaping through the hole Gray's body had made in the wall. He started his descent as well, falling above Gray as he pointed his sword down at him.

"You Saiyans really are stupid!" Kokobiel mocked, his mouth still in a bloodthirsty grin, "Let's see if your bodies are as sturdy as the rumors say!"

Kokobiel's wings flapped again, "[Cadre's Thrust!]"

The air around him shot upward as his wings flapped out, shooting downward far faster than gravity was carrying Gray's body down. His sword jutted forward, aiming at Gray's chest as he was defenseless in the air.

Not having Ki sucks.

Gray thought idly, unable to maneuver his body mid-air or fly away from the attack without his Ki. Instead, he lashed his arm out, wrapping his palm around the blade as it stabbed toward his chest.

-5,000HP! (1,880,950/1,889,950)

Gray hissed as steam rose from his palm, the heat of the sword searing into his flesh. He tensed his arm, forcing strength into it as he yanked himself upward. Kokobiel's eyes went wide as he struggled to keep his sword straight, crumpling under Gray's superior strength. Gray used the sword as an anchor, pulling his weight around it as he pulled himself toward Kokobiel.

He reached out, ignoring Kokobiel's stunned look as he placed his palm on the demons face, gripping it harshly. He shifted their position, overpowering Kokobiel as he forced the man under him, resulting in Gray being above the demon as they both plummeted downward.

Kokobiel reached up, grunting as his hand tried to pry Gray's hand off his face. Meanwhile, he slashed his sword upward at Gray, but missed as Gray leaned to the side.

"I've never heard anything about demon's having sturdy bodies," Gray grinned, his teeth baring as Kokobiel struggled under his grip, "Good luck!"

Kokobiel gave up on trying to pry Gray's hand off, instead reaching out as he formed another light sword in his other hand. Meanwhile, Gray shifted his body weight, crunching his legs and torso as he placed his feet flat on Kokobiel's chest. Kokobiel lashed out with his other sword, but the slash never reached him as Gray's legs tensed.

He pushed downward, slamming the full strength of his legs into Kokobiel's chest. The demon went rocketing downward, his descent accelerated tenfold as he hurtled towards the street below. His wings flapped outward, trying to slow himself down, but it wasn't enough.

78,800HP! (1,027,000/1,222,500)

Kokobiel slammed into the ground, a crater shooting outward from the impact as a cloud of dust appeared around him.

Even that didn't do much.

Meanwhile, Gray's descent paused momentarily as the force of his kick counteracted gravity. He took the chance to reach his arm out, placing his hand on the side of the building and digging his fingers into it. His descent stopped, and he was left hanging on the side of the building as he pressed his feet into it.

Gray looked down in annoyance at the result of his attack, Kokobiel only being down a bit more than 10% of his total HP after the blow.

Really missing my Ki right now.

If Gray had been able to enhance his legs with Ki, the attack would've done at least twice as much, if not more.

Gray blinked as the building he was hanging off of shifted, the base of the structure being affected from the impact of Kokobiel's body landing in front of it. The ground under it shook, a large crushing noise ringing out as the building tilted to the side, looking as if it might completely fall over and collapse.

Gray kicked off of it, shooting down to the ground and landing in front of Kokobiel in a crouch. The demon stood up, a small spoltch of blood dripping down the side of his face as he looked up at Gray.

"Ha… ha… HAHAHAHAHA!" Kokobiel laughed loudly, his eyes becoming even wider. His red eyes seemed to crack slightly, becoming bloodshot.

"You finally lost it?" Gray asked dryly, watching the insane demon laugh at seemingly nothing. As he did, the building behind Kokobiel continued to tilt, debris starting to fly as it fell over.

"You are living up to my expectations, Saiyan!" Kokobiel yelled, raising his arms as two more light swords formed in them, "Let's keep this battle going forever!"

"Forever? I don't have that long," Gray smirked, shifting back into his fighting stance, "I think you'll last… two more minutes. Three at most."

Despite Gray's words, an equally bloodthirsty grin was on his face.

A large ball of debris landed next to him, more starting to rain down as the building crumpled.

"Ha! Don't act like the fight is over, Saiyan!" Kokobiel screamed out, raising his sword even higher and pointing it directly above his head. As he did, the air around them thickened.

From the floor, in a circle around the duo, dozens of swords of light formed. They tilted in the air, pointing directly at Gray.

At the same time, all around them in the air more light swords formed. They circled around them, forming a dome of swords as hundreds upon hundreds of light swords pointed directly at Gray.

At the same time, the building behind Kokobiel couldn't hold on anymore. It crumpled, gravity taking over as it fell on it's side, more and more debris shooting outward as the ground shook.

A large cloud of smoke shot out from around the fallen building, covering both Gray and Kokobiel as they stared each other down. In an instant, Gray was left squinting in a cloud of dust, the world around him glowing from the dome of bright swords.

"It's only just beginning!"

"Talking"

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For a moment, the world was still, the ground shaking as Gray's body stayed tensed.

Then, it broke as a light sword came shooting out from the dust. Gray grunted, dodging to the side and then instantly ducking into a crouch as another flew over his head from behind.

"Don't die too quickly, Saiyan!" Kokobiel burst out from the dust in front of him, his sword lashing out at Gray. Gray winced as he raised his arm, slamming his fist forward as he didn't have time to dodge the slash.

-15,500HP! (1,865,450/1,889,950)

His fist slammed into the sword, barreling through it and breaking it into bits of light. Despite that, his hand was consumed in an intense heat from the exchange.

Kokobiel's eyes widened as Gray's fist broke through his sword, continuing it's path toward his face. He flexed his wings, and suddenly they wrapped around his body, acting like a cocoon and blocking Gray's fist.

2,000HP! (1,025,000/1,222,500)

Gray's fist slammed into his wings, but barely did any damage as it brushed off. He didn't have any time for a follow-up attack, as he had to jump to the side as a light sword shot at him from behind.

This is annoying.

Unlike with Ki-blasts, where Gray could sense them, he had no idea where the light swords were coming from. If they weren't extremely bright, literally lighting up the area around him as they came at him, he wouldn't have any warning.

At the same time, he couldn't track Kokobiel either. The smoke around them made it hard to see, and if he didn't keep the demon man in his line of sight then he could be unprepared for a sneak attack.

Overall, this is a shit situation. I'm at a disadvantage here.

Gray tensed his body, staring forward at Kokobiel as the demon uncurled his wings and formed another sword in his hand.

Fuck yeah.

Gray's grin stayed bloodthirsty, matching Kokobiel's as they stared each other down. It had been a while since he had a seriously dangerous fight.

Kokobiel lunged forward again, lashing out and sending a blade of light flying at Gray. As he did, Gray pressed his foot into the ground, tensing his leg. He shot forward, a small crater appearing under him as he pushed off the ground and appeared in front of Kokobiel in an instant.

Kokobiel's eyes widened as Gray appeared in front of him so quickly, caught off guard.

Even without Ki, I'm still a Saiyan.

Gray reached out, wrapping his hands around Kokobiel's arm. Kokobiel tried to stab at his head with his other sword in response, but Gray tilted his head to the side and dodged it. He planted his feet into the ground, channeling all his strength into his core as he yanked Kokobiel.

The lanky man was ripped off of the ground, caught off balance as Gray gyrated him in a circle. He swung Kokobiel's body around him, then let go and sent the demon flying through the dust cloud around them. A second later, a loud rumble sounded out as Kokobiel slammed into a building.

17,900HP! (1,007,100/1,222,500)

Gray didn't have time to admire his work as he jumped, letting a light sword aimed at his knee fly under him and into the ground. Gray was silently impressed as Kokobiel still managed to control the swords despite literally being thrown through a building.

Still, I'm not doing enough damag-

Gray grunted, cutting off his own thoughts as he lashed out with a punch. Kokobiel came flying out of the smoke again, looking nearly unaffected by Gray's attack as he lashed out with his sword again. Gray's fist slammed into Kokobiel's sword again, burning slightly as it was destroyed.

"Don't get cocky! [Cadre's Blast!]"

What a shitty move nam-

Gray dove to the side, pushing away his thoughts as a blast of pure light shot out from Kokobiel's palm. It shot past him, bursting through the air and dispelling the dust around them with its force.

That'll actually hurt.

Gray thought idly, shooting back to his feet as he looked at the blast from the corner of his eye. It slammed into one of the many buildings in the city, completely disintegrating it. There was nothing left where it once stood - looking as if there had never been a building there in the first place.

"L-Lord Kokobiel! Do you need assist-" A voice resounded from Gray's left, and he saw a male demon stumble out from the wreckage of the destroyed capital building. He wasn't the only one - all around them, demons started to arrive as they took note of the carnage happening in the center of the city.

Unfortunately for the only demon confident enough to say anything to Kokobiel, his head was instantly severed from his body as a light sword slashed through his neck.

"Don't interrupt me, weaklings!" Kokobiel shouted out, taking a step towards Gray excitedly, "Leave if you want to live! This city won't be standing by the time were done!"

"He's right, you guys should leave," Gray hummed, nodding up towards Raynare, Kalawrna, and Mittelt - who had been floating in the air idly, not wanting to be involved in the battle after escaping the destruction of the building.

"I'll come find you afterward," Gray said as Raynare looked at him doubtfully, and the girl nodded in response.

"Don't lose…" Raynare encouraged him halfheartedly.

"He won't," Kalawarna shot back confidently, "If he dies, then who's going to put a baby in m-"

Gray tuned them out, turning his attention back to Kokobiel.

Him being insane turned out to be for the best.

All around them, the nearby demons started to disperse, following their leaders orders as they took to the sky and fled the city. If Kokobiel had been less battle-hungry, it could've turned into a much more difficult 'hundreds vs one' fight.

He's a lot stronger than the commanders were. I can't afford that.

The demons in the previous cities hadn't just let him kill their commanders right in front of them, but they were weak enough that even with an army Gray didn't have any trouble. But, with Kokobiel, having to fight him and multiple opponents at the same time would be too much.

"Focus on the fight!" Kokobiel screamed abruptly, shooting forward at Gray as he swiped toward him with one of his swords.

Gray pulled his attention back to the fight, slamming his fist forward and breaking Kokobiel's sword as it slashed at him. He stepped inward, his follow-up punch directed at Kokobiel's gut, but was forced to change its trajectory as a black blur appeared in the corner of his eye.

He raised his hand, wrapping his palm around the end of one of Kokobiel's wings as it shot out, the end twisting into a sharp point directed at Gray's face. His palm tightened around the feathery limb, his arm straining slightly as he held it back.

A second later, another wing shot out from the other side of Kokobiel's back and shot towards Gray's side. He lashed out with his other arm, catching the wing. He gritted his teeth as both sharp wings tried to impale him, only being held back by his arms.

"[Cadre's Blast!]" Kokobiel shouted, and Gray's eyes went wide.

Kokobiel was grinning widely, slamming his glowing palm at Gray's chest.

Shit.

With how close they were, and with how the wings were still viciously pressing toward him, Gray couldn't dodge completely.

This is gonna hurt, but I'll get him back for it.

Gray grunted, preparing himself for the pain as he abruptly let go of Kokobiel's wings. Kokobiel stumbled slightly, not expecting the force pressing against him to suddenly disappear. Gray stepped forward and to the side, slamming his shoulder into Kokobiel's right wing to give himself some space.

As a result, the two wings shot out around him, stabbing into the ground behind him. However, now he was too close to Kokobiel to dodge the blast. As he stepped to the side, he avoided Kokobiel's attack hitting him full on in the chest, as the blast instead only partially slammed into the side of his chest.

-252,970HP! (1,612,480/1,889,950)

Gray hissed as a hurt pain seared through his chest.

It barely hit me, but that fuckin' hurt.

Even with his high END, not having any Ki to protect his body meant the attack still did a good bit of damage.

Gray pushed away the pain, instead leaning forward even more as he reached his arms out. Kokobiel's eyes went wide as Gray's fingers dug into his large coat. Gray tensed his arms, then completely lifted the lanky man up, hoisting him into the air. Then, he spun around, hurtling Kokobiel over his shoulder and into the ground harshly.

19,500HP! (987,600/1,222,500)

Kokobiel slammed into the floor back-first, a strand of spit flying out of his mouth from the impact. A small crater shot outward, the ground under Gray's feet shaking.

Time to get some damage in.

Gray didn't let him off with just that - as the demon man was momentarily reeling from the blow, he reached down and wrapped his palm around his neck. He shoved forward, pressing the man's head into the ground as he raised his other fist. He punched down, and Kokobiel's nose erupted into a spurt of blood.

22,850HP! (964,750/1,222,500)

Kokobiel's brain was rattled from the blow, and he didn't compose himself quick enough as Gray cocked his arm back again. A flurry of punches rained down, turning Kokobiel's face into a bloody pulp.

24,500HP! (940,250/1,222,500)

27,900HP! (912,350/1,222,500)

32,100HP! (880,250/1,222,500)

37,700HP! (842,550/1,222,500)

42,900HP! (799,650/1,222,500)

45,200HP! (754,450/1,222,500)

47,950HP! (706,500/1,222,500)

Gray's onslaught was stopped as Kokobiel finally reacted. His wings shot outward, all tenjutting forward and trying to impale Gray as he held down Kokobiel.

Decent.

Gray grunted, flinging himself backward as the sharp wings stabbed where he had been standing. Kokobiel pushed himself to his feet, the man breathing heavily as his HP started to inch toward the halfway point.

Despite his injuries, Kokobiel seemed to be even more excited than before.

"This is it! The feeling I've been yearning for!" Kokobiel screamed, two more light swords forming in his hands as he shot forward at Gray, "A real battle! I'll admit it, Saiyan! You're my equal!"

So predictable.

"Equal?" Gray slammed his fist into one of the swords, dispersing it into light specks as Kokobiel swung it at him, "I can't use my energy, and you're still gettin' your ass kicked. There's nothin' equal about this!"

Kokobiel swung his other sword at Gray, but Gray slammed his fist into it again, breaking it into pieces.

He's a decent swordsman at best.

Compared to Saeko, the man's attacks were predictable. Gray had no problem matching them, and his superior strength meant he just needed to counter them with his fists.

Gray stepped forward as Kokobiel was left swordless, launching forward with a powerful punch. In response, Kokobiel's wings shot out again, darting forward at Gray as the demon's eyes dared Gray to finish his punch.

"Y'know, you shouldn't just use those so carelessly," Gray hummed, grinning widely as he stopped his punch abruptly. He backpedaled, avoiding the sharp wings as he got out of their range, but then stepped forward again as Kokobiel retracted them.

Gray flung his hand out, wrapping his palm around one of Kokobiel's wings before he could pull it away. Then, he reached out his other hand, wrapping both of them around the wing.

"W-What-" Kokobiel was cut off as he let out a scream of pain.

Gray yanked on his wing, stamping his feet into the ground as his eyes turned dark and bloodthirsty. He leaned back, the ground under him denting from the force of his legs anchoring him down. Then, he pulled again, yanking backward with all his strength on Kokobiel's wing.

"GRAHHHHHHHH!" Kokobiel screamed, stumbling forward as his appendage was pulled on. But, Gray didn't let up. Instead, he grit his teeth, channeling every bit of strength he had into his arms. He took a step back and pulled.

372,500HP! (334,000/1,222,500)

In one swift pull, Kokobiel's wing was ripped straight out of his body. A fountain of blood exploded outward, staining Kokobiel's coat as he let out an agony-filled screech of pain.

Damn, that looks like it hurt.

"YOU BASTARD!" Kokobiel roared, stumbling again. He reached back, his hand palming around his back as his eyes were filled with pain.

"Get used to it, you still have nine more!" Gray grinned in response, casually tossing the long and feathery wing to the side.

"Y-You…" Kokobiel trailed off, seemingly even more affected by losing his wing than Gray had thought he would be. He stumbled forward unevenly, looking unsure of his footing. He leaned forward, coughing out a glob of blood onto the ground.

Though, I guess that's like an arm to him. I'd probably be pretty fucked up if my arm got ripped off too.

"What was that about being equals?" Gray mocked the injured man lightly, feeling a bit arrogant as he literally ripped the demon's wing off, "This is without my energy, too. If I could use that, you'd be a bloody spotch on the road right now."

"T-To think… I'd use this on a DAMN SAIYAN!" Kokobiel roared, suddenly pulling his hand away from his back and reaching into his coat. He pulled it out roughly, huffing as blood dripped from his mouth. In his hand sat a vial of purple liquid with a needle on the end. The side was a written number: 50,000.

…Okay, this is some bullshit, Nightmare Mode. I get that this is the hardest difficulty and all, but he literally pulled that out of his ass!

"How is a little-ass glass vial like that not broken?! I literally threw him through a build-" Gray started to rant, but was cut off as Kokobiel roughly jammed the needle into his arm.

"RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kokobiel screamed, his voice becoming deeper and monster-like. His body started to convulse, his arms flailing out wildly as a deep purple glow surrounded him.

Well, probably shouldn't just watch this as it happens, even if I would get a better fight.

Gray shot forward, raising a fist as he tried to interrupt whatever was happening to Kokobiel.

"RAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kokobiel screamed again, and suddenly, a huge ball of purple magical energy shot outward, shooting out of him like a dome. It slammed into the ground, disintegrating it, and Gray was forced to stop his attack and back up.

He backpedaled as the orb of power extended outward, slamming into the surrounding buildings and turning them into dust.

I'm getting Yamoshi flashbacks. Is this what PTSD is like?

Gray grunted, forced to watch as the ball of power continued to expand, taking more and more buildings with it. The ground under Kokobiel was disintegrated, resulting in a giant crater forming under him.

Finally, the ball of purple light gave one final flash, and then disappeared into nothing. All that was left was Kokobiel - or, more specifically, Kokobiel on steroids.

His arms were bulging - hell, everything was bulging. A purple light seemed to emanate from his body, his physique turning bloated as it struggled to contain the power.

"A little power-up, huh?" Gray hummed, "So what? I'll still kick your-"

"[CADRE'S DOMINION!]"

Gray blinked, being cut off by Kokobiel's scream. The world around him was suddenly engulfed in light. Hundreds upon hundreds - hell, possibly even thousands of purple light swords appeared in the air - all pointed at him. There were so many that the entire city was consumed in their glow, making it look as if a purple sun had suddenly appeared in the air.

More light swords? They might hurt a bit more than before, but I can still brute-force my way through them-

Gray yanked his head to the side as a sword suddenly shot past him, streaking past him in a trail of light. It continued past him, blitzing hundreds of feet past him until it slammed into a building. As it did, the entire building was consumed in an explosion of light - a large purple dome shooting outward and disintegrating it whole.

…Well, shit.

"Talking"

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gray grunted, forcing his legs to keep moving as he leaped onto a nearby building. Behind him, a light sword slammed into the ground, consuming the world in light as it destroyed everything around it.

Sorry to all the little Yardratians who are going to die today…

Gray thought idly, flipping through the air as he leaped off the building and onto another. As he did, another purple light sword slammed into it and exploded in a dome of light.

How much of a boost did he get…

Gray glanced back at Kokobiel, using [Observe] as he dodged another exploding light sword.

[Cruel] (Enhanced) Kokobiel:

[Demon]

Age: 1,780

PL: 2,574,552,000

HP: 910,000/1,798,500

TKI: 72,000/72,000

TMP: 3,759,000/4,959,000

[Cruel] Modifier - Individuals with this modifier will be naturally cruel.

2 billion? His power level almost doubled, and his MP pretty much fuckin' tripled.

"Even… even if it's only temporary…" Kokobiel yelled, his voice still ragged as his body seemed uneven and exhausted, "I'll keep this fight going! I won't… let it end now!"

However, there are definitely side effects.

Despite Kokobiel becoming so much stronger, it was obvious that his body couldn't handle it well. His physical body looked like it was bulging all over, as if the magical power was physically trying to escape him. More so than that, he looked constantly exhausted at working to maintain the power, leading him to not go in for a close-range fight again.

All he can do is attack from afar. If I can keep evading these swords, then I'll win.

Gray dived off the building he was on, ignoring the way a boom rang out as it was destroyed a split second later. As he landed on the ground, he gritted his teeth as he lunged forward. Another light sword slammed into the ground behind him, exploding in a ball of purple light.

But, I doubt I can tank more than one or two of these without my Ki. I need to avoid them.

While Kokobiel's powerup hadn't given him a higher power level than Gray, his insane levels of MP meant that the light swords would've hurt even if Gray had Ki protecting him. Without it, he wasn't certain he could endure more than a couple blows.

"Let's… continue!" Kokobiel shouted suddenly, and his body started to glow a deep purple. One second Gray was looking at him floating in the air, the next second he seemingly disappeared from existence - leaving behind just a couple of crow feathers floating towards the ground.

The fuc-

Gray flung himself to the side as a purple light sword slashed into where he had been standing. As it did, a large beam of magical power shot outward - slamming through the ground where Gray had been standing like an earthquake. It cut through the street, buildings, and anything else in its way as the ground shook.

Gray didn't have a moment of reprieve, rolling to the side again as another blade of purple energy shot at him as Kokobiel shot forward again.

Damn it. Having to use my fuckin' points because of this stupid Ki-barrier!

Gray threw himself to the side, reaching his hand out and slamming his remaining points into STR and AGI as he dodged the attack.

Putting any in END is useless here - I need to not get hit, and I need to deal a lot of damage.

Gray dodged another swing, dashing forward and launching a fist at Kokobiel. As he did, the demon man didn't even try to dodge. He let Gray's fist slam into his gut as he swung his purple light sword at him again.

5,000HP! (905,000/1,798,500)

Fuck, how high did his END get?!

Gray grunted, backpedaling as he barely dodged Kokobiel's sword swipe.

High as fuck, clearly. But…

Gray sidestepped another sword swing, easily moving out of the way as a blade of magical power destroyed the ground behind him.

He's slower.

'Slower' wasn't completely accurate - in fact, Kokobiel was definitely moving faster than he was before his power-up, and Gray would have struggled to keep up with Kokobiel's magic-power enhanced movements without his Ki. But, while Kokobiel was faster, he was also…

Uncoordinated. Clumsy.

Kokobiel wasn't adapted to the changes in his body - his new bulking size, uneven proportions, and uneven balance from having a wing ripped out.

I'll still win.

Not that Gray ever thought he wouldn't win - even without his Ki, and the majority of his skills, which were Ki-based, he still knew he'd win.

Because I'll never lose again.

Gray shot forward, rolling under Kokobiel's next swipe and then leaping toward him. He arms lashed out, his fist slamming into Kokobiel's bare chest again - as the demon's coat had been destroyed in his power-up.

5,000HP! (900,000/1,798,500)

Kokobiel swung his sword at him wildly, but Gray shifted his weight, dodging as he slammed another fist into Kokobiel's gut.

5,000HP! (895,000/1,798,500)

Glad to see Kolra's style still has some use.

After unlocking Broly's much stronger and much more dominant style, Gray wasn't sure he'd be in a situation where he would use Kolra's boxing again. But, against the powered-up Kokobiel it was preferable. Gray couldn't afford to completely focus on his offense, trying to dominate Kokobiel when he didn't have the fire-power to take him down quickly without his Ki. In the same vein, he couldn't afford to take that many attacks either, so Kolra's hit-and-dodge style was optimal.

5,000HP! (890,000/1,798,500)

The exchange continued, Kokobiel lashing out wildly as any sense of sword technique faded with his new uncoordinated body. Gray continued to dodge, getting in blow after blow and avoiding getting hit himself.

"GRAH! STOP DODGING!" Kokobiel roared, his wings shooting out from behind him again. They stabbed at Gray, but Gray merely smirked in response.

I was waiting for a chance like this. This is gonna hurt, but…

Gray grimanced, not dodging as the wings tore through the air toward him. They slammed into him, the sharp ends cutting into his sides and chest as his torso erupted in a fountain of blood.

-100,000HP! (1,967,630/2,412,100)

-100,000HP! (1,867,630/2,412,100)

-100,000HP! (1,767,630/2,412,100)

-100,000HP! (1,667,630/2,412,100)

-100,000HP! (1,567,630/2,412,100)

-100,000HP! (1,467,630/2,412,100)

-100,000HP! (1,367,630/2,412,100)

Gray coughed out a glob of blood, pain shooting through him as the seven sharp ends of the wings cut into him. But, despite the pain, he let out a bloody grin.

It wouldn't be a good fight if I didn't get a bit bloody.

Notably, only seven wings were cutting deep into Gray's muscles at the moment - the other two were caught, Gray's hands gripping them harshly.

I have HP to play with. He doesn't.

"I told you not to be careless with these," Gray grinned, looking slightly psychotic as blood flowed out of his mouth and coated his body. He shifted his grip, wrapping his full arms around each one so they were tucked under his armpits. Then, he planted his feet firmly in the ground and yanked his arms backward.

200,000HP! (690,000/1,798,500)

200,000HP! (490,000/1,798,500)

"GRAHHHHHHHH!" Kokobiel exploded in pain, screeching out as he stumbled backward. Two more wings were ripped out of his back. A fountain of blood exploded outward, Kokobiel's body becoming just as stained in red as Gray's was.

Gray tossed the wings to his sides, letting them fall to the ground as he breathed heavily, staring down Kokobiel. He took a step back, shifting back into his fighting stance.

Damn, that was only kind of worth it. His END is too high now - I can't take a trade like that again.

Gray's thoughts didn't matter, as Kokobiel had no intention of risking his precious few remaining wings. He shot upward into the air, creating space between him and Gray as he held his arms out widely.

"I DON'T CARE ANYMORE, BASTARD!" Kokobiel screamed, his face looking less excited and more enraged as he lost two more wings, "DIE! [CADRE'S DOMINION!]"

Suddenly, the world exploded with purple light. It was even brighter than before, with hundreds upon hundreds of purple light swords appearing in the air around Gray.

…New tactic - be a bitch.

Gray grunted, tensing his legs as he shot forward through the street. He barreled into an untouched building far down the street, barreling through the wall and landing in a plain-looking lobby room.

Is this being smart, or being a bitch? Who cares - Kokobiel won't be alive to tell anyone I did this shit anyway.

Gray crouched in the building, taking advantage of Kokobiel's face being twisted in focus as he formed the hundreds of light spears.

I can't keep track of him, but he can't track me either. I'll pull a Krillin on him.

Considering that demons could only track magical power and not Ki, Kokobiel had no way of tracking down Gray once he lost sight of him. And, true to Gray's plan, Kokobiel started yelling wildly in the air.

"WHERE ARE YOU, BASTARD?! TAKE YOUR DEATH LIKE A WARRIOR, BRAT!" Kokobiel screamed, raising his arms as he glared around the city angrily, "I'LL BLOW THIS WHOLE CITY UP IF I HAVE TO!"

I liked him better when he was just 'I want a good fight crazy' and not 'cliche about-to-die villain monologuing crazy'

A loud explosion rang out as Kokobiel started sending light spears hurtling into the city, building after building exploding in a burning orb.

Now, where is the last place he'd expect me to be?

Meanwhile, Kokobiel continued to glance around the city angrily, swiping his hands out as explosion after explosion rang out. He lashed out with his sword, sending a blade of purple energy outward and slicing through a section of the city - causing everything in its path to be destroyed and for a giant ravine to form in the planet's surface.

"DID YOU DIE ALREADY, SAIYAN?!" Kokobiel mocked, growing frustrated as nearly the entire giant capital city was destroyed and yet he didn't find Gray.

"You should look down next time," Gray grinned, and Kokobiel's eyes widened. He spun around, but it was too late as Gray's feet slammed into his chest, sending him hurtling down to the planet's surface.

Though, I can't blame him. Who would think that their opponent was just hiding in a crater?

After Kokobiel had started flinging around his light swords, Gray had simply moved to the crater under the man - the one that had formed when he had powered-up, and that was where the capital building had previously been.

Kokobiel's body rocketed down to the planet's surface, slamming into it and forming a giant crater as Gray's body forced him downward.

10,000HP! (480,000/1,798,500)

Kokobiel barely took any damage from being ripped out of the sky, but he didn't need to. Gray leaned down as Kokobiel was crumpled in the crater, not giving him a second to react as he wrapped his palms around two of the man's wings. He shifted them in his grip, wrapping his arms around them again. Then, he stomped his feet down, causing Kokobiel to gasp as Gray used him as a base.

"W-Wait! YOU BAST- GRAHHHHH!" Kokobiel tried to lash out with his light sword again, but didn't get the chance.

Gray pulled backward, grunting in effort as he ripped the two appendages out from Kokobiel's body.

200,000HP! (280,000/1,798,500)

200,000HP! (80,000/1,798,500)

"GRAHH!" Kokobiel screamed again in agony, the man's bulging body convulsing as he spat out a glob of blood. He rolled on the ground in pain, his hands reaching out and desperately covering the holes in his body as blood poured out.

"It was a good fight," Gray hummed, a bloodthirsty grin forming on his face. He leaned down, grabbing the three remaining wings on Kokobiel's left side under one of his arms and then the other three under his right arm. Kokobiel didn't try to stop him, the man rolling and groaning as pain filled his mind.

"W-Wait…" Was all Kokobiel got out before he coughed out another glob of blood, staring up at Gray with terror-filled eyes, "D-Don't do it! We can team up! I can be useful - I can- GAH"

[Demon 'Kokobiel' has been defeated!]

+2,500,000 XP!

+2,500,000 Coins!

Gray yanked back, and in a fountain of blood, the six remaining wings on Kokobiel were ripped out. The man gave one final gasp, his blood-red eyes filled with pain. Then, he slumped over, dead.

You're here betraying your boss right now, and you think I'll trust you to be my subordinate?

Gray dropped the wings at his side, staring down at the bloody corpse as his own blood trailed down his side.

"That was… so badass!" Gray blinked as a sudden female voice spoke, glancing over at the source. Behind a giant pile of debris remaining from the capital building, two beautiful woman stared at him with wide eyes.

+1,000 Reputation with Kale (For defeating Kokobiel) [4x from [Ladies Man], [A Humble Master]]

+1,000 Reputation with Fasha (For defeating Kokobiel) [4x from [Ladies Man], [A Humble Master]]

Gray stared blankly at the two women.

What the fuck?

"Talking"

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two Months Earlier

"What the hell?" Fasha grunted, staring around the dull planet.

The woman was beautiful despite the disgruntled look over her face - with short black hair, a slim yet toned body, decent sized breasts, and a large ass toned from being adept at fighting with her legs. She was wearing a standard set of Saiyan armor and had a green scouter on her face.

This is what happens when dumbasses do mission briefings. Why the hell was that bald bastard even setting up the pods?!

Before Fasha had set out for a mission with her usual squadron, Team Bardock, something weird happened. Whereas she usually set up her own pod, as she was one of the few Saiyans who was smart enough to navigate their own pod, the typical protocol was that a member of the technical division would set up the pod.

Which is stupid. We rely on the ship to get to the mission and back, yet most bastards can't even use it.

Just before leaving for her mission this time, a certain bald-headed elite by the name of Nappa had been fiddling around with her pod.

'Just inspecting it' my ass. What did that bastard do?

She knew there was something more to it than that, but she couldn't say anything. Nappa was an elite - and not just any elite, but also the right-hand man of Prince Vegeta. Fasha was a low-class Saiyan, as well as part of a squad whose shining achievement would always be their captain having a prodigal son.

Life fuckin' sucks.

Fasha sighed, turning around and climbing back into her pod, her juicy ass sticking into the air as she started fiddling with the buttons. She wasn't always so negative - she used to have high hopes, both for herself and her squad. Despite being low-class warriors, they performed far above their expectations. Their results were the best amongst low-class teams and even exceeded many elite-level squads. They continued to climb upward, getting more and more difficult and important missions.

I was so close to getting to eat that good-ass elite food. But, you just had to have a super-kid, huh, Bardock?

Bardock's first son wasn't the problem - Raditz was talented, managing to be one of the few low-class Saiyans to rise up the ranks and become an elite. He might've been one of the weaker squad captains, but he was still an Elite Squad Captain nonetheless.

The problem came with Bardock's second son, Kakarot.

The fucking shining star.

Bardock being a talented and strong squad captain who could rival even elites wasn't an issue. Him having a talented son who went on to become an elite also wasn't an issue. Hell, even him having a son who went on to become one of the strongest within their entire race probably also wasn't an issue. What was an issue - all three of these things happening.

And so, instead of continuing to get more and more important missions - instead of being put where they belonged in the war-front - Team Bardock was sent to backwood planets to conquer.

You're a good father, Bardock. Too good of a father.

Bardock was surprisingly talented for a low-class, and having two even more talented children made Frieza weary of him. He wanted Team Bardock as far away from any serious fighting as possible, sentencing them to the monotony of completing missions that were usually meant for literal infants.

"Why won't this damn thing work?" Fasha huffed, pulling her head out of the pod. After it landed, it seemed to completely break - the buttons that usually operated the pod did nothing, and even the typical robotic narrator was gone.

Fasha stood up, walked around the back of the ship, and pulled open the maintenance hatch. As she did, her eyes went wide.

That bald fucker… was he trying to kill me?!

The usually neat alignment of wires was a mess - looking as if someone had stuck their hand in, wiggled it around, ripped a part a couple of wires, and called it a day.

It's a miracle I even got here…

"Fuck!" Fasha groaned, standing up straight and turning away from her pod, "Did they finally decide to kill us? Damn bastards… we do so much, and this is what we get! A bunch of shitty missions, and then sent to our deaths?!"

Fasha gave her Saiyan pod a final annoyed kick, then turned away and started walking in a random direction.

Well, guess I'll be living here for the next couple of years. Hopefully there are some tasty animals here.

Being stranded on an unknown planet wasn't an unprepared situation for Saiyans - they knew how to hunt, their bodies could handle raw meat and practically any kind of edible food, and they could survive with very minimal amounts of water.

Hopefully Bardock's alright. He'll come pick me up in a few months…

Fasha sighed, resigning herself to living on this dull, unknown planet for the next few months.

I hope there's at least some type of intelligent life here. It'll be boring being alone…

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One week later

…I wish this planet was fucking lifeless…

Fasha stared forward, her body aching as she stared at the same blank wall that had been sitting in front of her for the past multiple weeks. Her face was caked with dry blood, her Saiyan armor was tattered and shattered, and her eyes hurt after being sat in the dark room for so long.

"Are you sure we can't use her? She's so hot, seems like a waste to just leave her sitting there…" The guard in front of her cell asked for what felt like the thousandth time over the past week. He glanced over at her, his disgusting eyes filled with uncontained lust.

"Lord Kokobiel said not to touch her, moron!" The other, more intelligent, demon guard shot him down, "If you wanna get your heart ripped out just to get your dick wet, be my guest! Just go find some whore on the street after your off the job!"

"B-But, she's a Saiyan! Fallen women just don't do it for me anymore!" The first guard whined, "None of the hot ones want me, and I've never been with a Saiyan!"

"They don't want you because you're a weak little grunt," The other guard replied dryly, "Maybe if you trained more and jacked off less, you'd be able to get a good one!"

…I almost wish he just killed me. If I could use energy, I'd rip that annoying bastards head off.

Fasha sighed, another headache forming as she had to listen to the guard's idiotic conversation. It had been like this every day, for multiple hours a day. She was lying in a dark cell, her body kept on the verge of exhaustion as she was barely given any food or water. That was on top of the occasional injections they shoved into her - Fasha wasn't sure what they did specifically, but for hours afterward, she couldn't even move a muscle, and for the next couple of days she felt pathetically weak.

Why did I have to crash-land here of all places?

Fasha had initially assumed the planet didn't have any intelligent lifeforms - most planets didn't, and this was looked unbelievably dull. Then, she had found a city and discovered not just intelligent lifeforms but kind ones too!

Look at me, dumbass Fasha! What's that, little purple guy who's giving me food? A big bad demon is here? Don't worry, I'll handle him! I could be an elite, you know? I would be an elite if Frieza wasn't fucking us over! I don't need energy, I'll totally beat him!

Fasha's overconfidence, which stemmed from years of having uneventful missions, had been the end of her as said 'big bad demon' had thoroughly kicked her ass and locked her in his basement. Deep in his basement - she still remembered every one of the 794 stairs she had been dragged down to reach this room. Her ass was plump, but not plump enough that it could cushion 794 stairs.

"Are you sure? I know she's a bit muscular, but I like them that way!" The first guard started to try again, pleading with the second guard, "Just one go! Lord Kokobiel will never know!"

Just kill me.

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I brought you a friend, Saiyan woman," Fasha blinking, opening her eyes as she was awoken by a voice. Peering into her cell was the blood-red eyes of the demon man who had beaten her ass.

Kokobiel reached forward, yanking open the cell door as he tossed a limp body inside. The body flopped in front of Fasha, the girl unconscious as she was coated in blood.

She looked much softer than any other Saiyan Fasha had seen, not having much muscle on her slim and thin frame. Her skin looked clear and soft, with her breasts and ass both being on the smaller side. Her skin was also tanner than most, though it was covered in black bruises that let Fasha know the girl had gotten her ass beat in a similar manner that she had.

"She did better than you at least, but… you Saiyans are disappointing me so far," Kokobiel scoffed, slamming the cell door shut and turning away, "Ensure no harm comes to them. Continue to inject them every two days, but don't touch them otherwise. I need their bodies in perfect condition!"

The two guards stood stiffly in front of the door, saluting him as he walked back to the staircase and left the basement prison.

Fasha glanced at the girl again, her face softening as she saw how young she looked. She couldn't have been older than 20, looking like she could've been in her late teens.

Having some company might be nice.

"What about her? She's pretty hot!"

"No, you moron! Lord Kokobiel said not to touch them!"

I fucking hate this planet!

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So… how'd you end up here?" Fasha asked casually, glancing at her fellow female captive.

"This was my Class-S entrance exam," Kale muttered in response, the shy girl looking uncomfortable, "I had to conquer this planet. I was told that there would be some strong technique fighters, but… if the exams this hard, then I don't think I'm cut out for Class-S…"

"Trust me, this isn't normal," Fasha replied dryly, "I'm just a low-class, but I've seen my fair share of Class-A and Class-S graduates. Without their energy, I can't think of many that could beat that monster."
"B-But, if this was my exam, then…" Kale frowned, looking down disappointedly, "I should be able to beat him! But… I failed… I failed bad…"

"Listen, brat," Fasha chuckled, "I've been to thousands of different planets, and I've never seen anything like this. A demon that can seal your energy? Whoever sent you here must not have known he was here. This isn't something an academy brat should be doing. This is something for someone like Prince Vegeta, or Kakarot. Some big-shot elite should've been sent here, not you."

"But…" Kale just sighed again, staring at her feet, "I just… I don't want to disappoint sister…"

Fasha turned her gaze from Kale, staring at the wall in front of her again blankly.

Great. My only company for the rest of my life is a perverted creepy guard, and a shy insecure girl.

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"W-What the hell is that?" Guard #1 stuttered, looking uncomfortable as the entire prison area shook. A rattle went throughout the wall, and a large boom rang out.

"Let's go check, moron! Lord Kokobiel might be under attack!" The second guard answered, ushering the more nervous, and more creepy, guard toward the stairs.

"B-But, the prisoners! We should protect them! If Lord Kokobiel needs help, I'm sure he'll come tell us!" The first guard reasoned, looking very uneager to go up toward the explosions.

I can't blame him.

As the second guard shoved the first one up the stairs, another huge bang resounded. The wall behind Fasha shook, a small chunk of the roof falling down and clanking onto the ground in front of them.

"W-What do we do?" Kale asked her nervously, "W-We can't use our energy, and with that thing they keep putting in us… I don't know what'll happen if the room collapses…"

"Wait for them to reach the surface, and then we'll go up," Fasha decided, nodding at the staircase.

"B-Break out?! But…" Kale started uncertainly, "If we get caught…"

"Then nothing will happen," Fasha answered, shaking her head at the girl, "That demon bastard wants us alive and in good condition, remember? If we get caught, he'll just kill the guards that let us escape."

Which I'd be more than happy about. If I have to listen to those two idiots any longer…

The roof shook again, another pebble falling down and clanking into the cell.

"Just wait a bit longer," Fasha grunted. The last thing she wanted was to run into the guards if they weren't all the way up yet - all these earthquakes and explosions made it sound like the world was ending. If the creepy bastard found her defenseless and trying to escape, he might throw caution into the wind and do something crazy.

Finally, after a few more minutes, Fasha pushed herself to her feet. Her body felt weak, and even with her trained Saiyan physique she could barely walk. Kale followed her lead, and they headed toward the stairs.

However, as she did, she stopped abruptly. The air around her seemed to grow thick, and suddenly an ear-shattering explosion rang out. A purple glow came from the stairwell, and the sound of rocks falling onto the metallic stairs rang out. As she glanced up, even the ceiling above them seemed to glow a light purple color.

Finally, the glow ended.

I don't know what the hell that was, and I don't want to know.

"...Let's wait another few minutes," Fasha decided wisely, and Kale nodded hastily in agreement. The explosions above them seemed to become even louder and more frequent, the room shaking harder and harder with each one. Finally, after waiting with baited breath, the explosions seemed to stop.

Fasha and Kale carefully walked to the stairs, climbing up one flight, and then… stepping out into a massive crater. The rest of the many, many -

794, to be exact.

Stairs were destroyed - with just a massive rocky crater in its place.

"W-Wait… D-Don't do it! We can team up! I can be useful - I can- GAH"

Fasha's eyes went wide, and she heard Kale gasp next to her. Standing in front of her, a tall, muscular, and lengthy man stood. His face was matted with blood, with even more thicker blood flowing down his body like a waterfall. His clothes were a mess - destroyed during his fight, and his bare muscles were on display to the world. His biceps glistened as they were coated with blood, tense with strain as he ripped out the demon's wings with pure strength.

Tall, long, with an extremely handsome face. Piercing eyes that seemed to bore into her soul, even when he wasn't looking at her.

He's… perfect.

Luckily, the words that she spit out were more eloquent: "That was… so badass!"

The man turned to look at her as she spoke, and his eyes seemed to bore even deeper into her very essence.

I… think I found my husband.
