Eh... A low level force user is allowed

So I take it you could control computers with this?

Low level force user. :V
I don't know what low level force user is, but Although Joseph is No power house He is No slough.
Granted, seeing as Hermit purple's vines are invisible to most it would be mistaken for telekensis.

Some more things about Hamon, seasoned practisioniars can walk on water (by creating rippels in the water).
Hell, Some technique's used include:
Zoom punch, dislocating your arm to reach farther With your punch and Then healing it.
Hamon cutter, turn water/wine/bubbels into flying buzzsaws that (I believe) can cut steal. (Joseph never used this Technique however, So it would be outside my reach).
Fill hair With life force to harden it to solid rods to block bullets.

Really, Hamon can be used for minor aqua kensis (water can be shaped but you must touch the water to achieve this) minor healing (infectious, cuts, dislocated arm), can generate heat, can be used to control nerves (by sending Hamon into Them)

Again, the biggest weakness that you have to send Hamon into something to do this. Hamon can only be used through the arms and legs and you have to breath to use it (and the breathing Technique is mentioned to be intense and not easy to keep up).
While for exemple it would be strong under water (your in a medium for Hamon to travel through) but you have to breath to use it.

Granted, Hermit purple helps by this weakness Because Hamon can travel along it.
Hell, Joseph wrapped Hermit purple around himself like armour. He could create Hamon in his arms and the vines sprouted on his could Carry the Hamon along the vines to serve as armour. It would not work on everything but by being magnetic could could probally push away metals. That and hamon is the Vampires natural weakness.

(I am now going to set up the character sheet, I am going to it in another post)

Joseph
(As Joseph is accepted over Mista, I wil go with the purple thorns.)
(As I understand it we would mostly get their powers, but for ease of use I wil just have Josephs body aswel. It is only for looks however (I like his oldseph design). He still has the Hamon skill of young Jospeh and Physical skill of his prime)

Name: (old) Jospeh Joestar (stardust crusaders Joseph)
Sex: Manliest of man
Age: 69 (In stardust crusader, but he was born 1920)
Appearance:
Personality: Jovial, tricksy, mischivious, protecting of those he cares for, goofy, honorable.
Powers/Abilities:
[Hamon]: Hamon, also known as the ripple, is a wave of life energy formed by/similiar to the rays of the sun. Certain humans can create this energy by using a special breathing technique. This causes the energy to ripple along the body, but can only be summoned aslong breathing is maintained and can only be used along the extremities (arms, legs, head). Hamon has to travel along a medium, this must be a conductive medium (like water or metal).
A charge of hamon can be absorbed by living things, which causes them to heal. The healing depends on the energy applied, but it is generely beter for cuts, infections and dislocted limbs, it cannot regrow lost limbs. When a very large charge is applied, the impact zone wil heat up and burn. Hamon has two types, postively chaged and negativly charged. Hamon can serve as a magnetic force, attracting the user to either metal like a magnet or attracting biological matter like leaves. Hamon can also be used to attract water and change it shape, like letting water stick to once form or turning water into razor sharp cutters. The hamon charge can be used to manipulate muscle movements my sending a hamon charge into the nerves. Hamon is lethal to undead, especialy vampires.
[Hermit purple]: This is Jospeh's stand, his mind and soul given shape. It manifests as purple, thorned vines. As a stand, it is only visible to those who can view souls (like ghosts or other stand users) and can only be harmed by another stand (or something that can harm a soul). I can phase through solid matter, but cannot harm it while doing so. Hermit purple posses the following abilities:
1) Through the use of its [spirit/psychic photography], hermit purple can give the user information over its suroundings. Be it the appearance of an enemy or the location of a certain item. This needs to be done through a medium, like a photo camera, a television or something as simple as a wall. The medium used reflects the quality of the information (the camera can show a picture of the enemy, a tv can show a 'live' feed and wall would only be able to show a map towards a certain item (like for exemple, coal tar). The close the user is to what it is trying to gain information of, the more accurate the spirit photography is. This ability can be used to read thoughts, but to use this a visual medium like a tv must be used.
2) This stand can be used to manipulate technology by plugging the vines into it.
3) The vines can serve as a conductor for hamon. Jospeh can even wear the vines like armour and let the hamon flow through it.
[Third eye]: As a stand user, Joseph is able to view the spiritual world, like ghosts.
Skills:
Multi-lingual: Joseph speaks multiple langue's, from english to japanese. From italian to arabic.
Driver: Jospeh can drive multiple moterized vehicles. Cars, motorcycles and planes.
Equipment:
Prostectic right hand: A mechnical hand to replace the one he lost against Kars, not much stronger then a normal human hand.
Walkman and Some cassets and a pair of headphones: Gotta have Some good tunes on hand
Poleroid camera: handy for making spirit photographs
Backpack: Helpful for Carrying stuff.

Accepted. Well that's four down. I reiterate, this role play will accept up to 10 players, so there's still plenty of time to join.

Anyone interested in a DC or Marvel character? As their power base I mean.

Ok, here is two sheet in case you find one not good enough.

Name: Lvar Yarl, Knight of the Order

Age: 60

Appearance:

Gender: Male

Origin: Brighthammer (AU WH 40k)

Personality:
A believer in the honor bound code of Khorne, Lvar is a true believer that one can climb up and improve oneself with enough strength and determination. Lvar hates the sight of abuse of the weak by the strong as he considers it a coward's act who fear facing those of equal strength and power.
Lvar is in heart a soft fellow who longs for a simple life, the misdeeds of the strong he believes forces him to take action and correct them for if they are not stopped, they will spread and in turn endanger the honor of all.

Backstory:
Lvar was once a civilian living a peaceful life like such many in the Imperium enjoyed. This was, however to be changed in one event that turned things for the worse. A local head of the Psyker research group, dissatisfied with being delayed and denied resources for his research due to ethical concerns for his test subjects and his methods of progress, decided to hire the local pirates to kidnap psyker children to be used in his experiment to create the ultimate psyker body, for what purpose nobody knew. It was then that his planet was in danger of being scourged and ravaged by the pirates when a miracle happened. The pirates suddenly halted what they were doing and moved to a centralized location, and before you knew it were retreating as if some guardian came out. This guardian, was a Knight of the Order, champions of Khorne, honorable warriors dedicated towards defeating and stopping the oppressors and tyrants of the galaxy and their devious plans.

Inspired by this act of heroism, Lvar started to follow the teaching of Khorn in hopes that he too, one day can become a Knight and fend off the tyrants of the galaxy and any who plot such insidious goals.

Latter on, when he earned the honor of joining the Order, and was walking by to meet with the other, he heard a call by none other than Khorne, who wished to speak to him about a new mission that he was needed for.

"Your deeds are indeed great, however, you have much to grow. I have foreseen a place where their is much struggle, a isolated nation, fighting day and night to preserve and halt the invading hordes of a ever numerous enemy. You are but needed. All that is required of you to join them has but already been done. Go now, go and bring aid to those who fight on, go and show those who wish to spit upon those who fight back that their is nothing that can truly crush a true fighting spirit. For honor."

With that Khorne fades away, leaving Lvar but with the task of walking through, into the new world, into a new land, and with new allies shall come new challenges, but what good Knight of Order would he be if he didn't face them?

Abilities:

  • Blessings of Khorne: Those who follow the path of the Lord of War shall with dedication reap the benefits of the honorible to further help spread the honor of Khorne to those who speak blasphemy upon honor. Lvar has been enhanced with enough blessings to allow him to keep toe to toe with a Space Marine of the Imperium, although lacking in the extra features of one. He is, in the end of the day, still human and inherits the needs of a human, need of oxygen, limited organs, no special bio augments.
  • Training of the Knights of Order: The Knights of Order are expected to be be on tip top shape and to keep that, Lvar trains constantly to stay on tip top shape. Lvar is skilled in not only hand to hand combat, but with melee weapons, and also has skill with ranged weaponry, although not to the level of his melee and HtH combat skills.

Equipment:

  • Sacred Armor of the Honor-bound: Reserved for mortals who Khorne or the greatest servants of noble lord of war has deemed worthy of wielding, this sacred armor is reminiscent of the olden romanticized armor of the medieval times, with a shining aura ever so glowing outward, this armor is but a true piece of equipment fit for a true honorable warrior. This handcrafted armor forged from the hands of the smiths of the Lord can shield against even the fire from a auto cannon, although less so than a regular space marine armor. The holy aura emanating from the armor is created by a blessing placed upon by Khorne himself, creating a barrier between the armor that blocks a strike from any enemy weapon up to a heavy artillery shell, it can even temperately hold a power weapon at bay for precious seconds needed to turn the tide of the battle. Although, the barrier does not discern between weak strikes and strong ones, going down to even regular gunfire. The barrier needs a 10 second cool down between pops to regenerate once more.
  • Sacred Sword of the Warrior: Another one of Khorne's gifts to the worthy, this ornate sword is gifted to those who earn it to serve them in their quest. This sword is decorated with details of the battles the champion has endured before being gifted the weapon they not wield. The blade of the sword carves even the most toughest of armor and smites the wickedest of beasts. Only the strength of adimantium is enough to halt the power of the blade.
  • Hunter of the Wicked: A standard Bolter often used by Space Marines. This weapon has been modified by Lvar to fit his needs more and has been modified to fire more accurately through special stabilizer enhancements that although effective, is too costly to be used on anything higher than a individual based scale.

Name: Bean the Dynamite

Age: 15

Appearance:

Gender: Male

Origin: Archie Sonic the Hedgehog Comics

Personality:
Bean is a rather goofy and eccentric being, prone to mood swings and extreme reactions. He seems to take little seriously and his logic is often dubious, though he's capable of moments of surprising clarity and intelligence. He tends to make irreverent, nonsensical or borderline inappropriate comments, often indifferent to any offense he may cause. His moods and reactions are extremely unpredictable; while generally an eager being, he's capable of being friendly and easy-going as easily as he can be indignant and angry. While he may be crazy, he's still potentially dangerous; he also seems to enjoy keeping his origins a mystery. It also seems that he feigns at least some of his apparent insanity in order to throw off his enemies, hiding a surprisingly devious side.

Bean has a habit of assigning others complicated nicknames in lieu of their proper names, such as "Old Snaggleface McStealygrab" (Nack the Weasel) or "Baldy McNosehair" (Dr. Eggman). He has an obsession with shiny objects as well as great love for bombs and explosions of all kinds. He and Bark are close friends despite their differences, though Bean occasionally annoys his Polar Bear partner. The pair of them also seem to have their noble side, and their bounty hunter career may simply be a case of being led down the wrong path.

Backstory:
Bean, has many backstories, ok fine just one, but what story is real and what is made up is anyone's guess.
Now, Bean he is a mercenary, that means he works for hire.
Now he does not often work the best of people, but Bean is Bean.
Now, Bean is working with something called a Coalition of something, made up of lots of people, different people in fact.
Just another day in life for Bean. Just another day of Bean.

Abilities:
Bean primarily attacks with bombs. It is unknown where he gets them from, but he seems to be able to produce them whenever needed, similar to the way Amy summons her hammer. His explosives don't usually do much harm, though they are strong enough to knock people off their feet and create burns. As seen during the fight with the Kraken, he seems to be able to summon bombs of different sizes; this, however, can backfire if the bomb is too big for him to lift. Probably his most frightening ability is that he seems to have some measure of special control over all manner of explosives and can cause them to self-detonate on will alone. Pragmatic when it comes to combat, he's not above using his beak to peck at others.

Equipment: Nothing of value besides a few nick knacks and some stuff that may or may not be useful.

Bean and Sir Weird name are both too out of the norm for this RP. Someone from the standard versions of either of these universes might be more acceptable.

Like, Brighthammer is not allowed, and I doubt that an alternate universe of Sonic would make sense for this role play.
Yes it is a Self Insert role play.

Might I suggest Shadow the Hedgehog?

But its the Archie Comic Sonic.

That is like the closest to relevant and is a good part of sonic canon.

Those bombs are powerful enough to damage and break apart metal robot Egg Pawns, human sized pudgy robots with a bomb or two. Also they in canon tend to also toss people around instead of killing, that may be due to comic censoring.

Seems awfully low tier. You can also try a normal Warhammer character if you want.

This looks interesting. Would a Guardian from Destiny be acceptable, or would the self-resurrection part break it?

@Janus

Added an equipment section to my character. Fancy wording aside, its basically power-level appropriate armor and weaponry with some flavor for my character added in. Needless to say, they're of better quality than I can actually make at the start of the game, so I'm going to be very protective of this gear. Tell me if I made any mistakes. :)

You, if I wanted jojo I _could_ have gone for more high tier character like DIO (time stopping vampire), Jotaro (Time stopping marine biologist) or Josuke (his stand crazy Diamond can repair anything to a previous state, With a few acceptions. No raising the dead, no healing himself and the pieces must still excist in this plan of excistance. Hell hw could fuse things together).

I didn't, Because jojo fights more often Then not are about being smarter Then your foes, leveraging every trick and advantage you can get. That is What makes jojo interresting and I hope I can do that here :D (@Janus I wil probally send you PM's if I have a secret plan during a situation/fight. If that is allowed).

Jojo has plenty OP, but the mid tier characters that leverage their Abilities are mode interresting to me.

Hmm...no one that uses much tech yet, 21st century or otherwise.

Btw, GM. Thoughts about the poll? Gonna keep it up some more or...

I mean, we have two magic users (wizard/sorceress), a magic-fantasy-rat-man and an old man with soul-mind-scrying-vines and solar-breathing-karate.
That is not really the most tech focused group of individuals.
Although we don't have to work together, if we do I am not even sure we have the age old tested trifecta of support/dps/tank.
I mean, I guess storm-vermin could be tank while the magic-people pull dps and Joseph pulls support, but Hamon can only do so much and won't help with loss of limb.
Maybe I am not noticing the support/tank potential of the characters here.
Granted, we still have 6 people to go before we reach the double digit mark.

Well the premise is we're gonna be hunted, so I like to think we would all cooperate even if it ends up being teeth-clenched teamwork. Personally I'm one for jolly co-op, but I realize that might not be the most interesting story for others.
